Also just a suggestion but I don't think there should be a Roleplay, but people COULD make characters and then they can be traded for someone else's, and u can use them charries in other groups. Role playing just defeats the idea of the group.

thank you for the suggestion! currently we prefer you make one thread at a time for yourself. you can make multiple threads at a time for your characters in the workshop folder, and i'm adding a thread for working on templates.

Hey not sure if this is the right place to post it but does anyone know a blog/website I could find some gif sets on- I don't want gif sets of specific people but more of luxury/royals/fashion but I would like them to be from the same set.

Welcome to Les Amis D L'ABC. A student activist group named after the very real group that fought in the student rebellions of Paris in 1832. But they not only a activist group fighting to achieve equality for all and raise awareness in gender and sexual orientation. No they are a family and most of all they are students trying to achieve a degree.


It is set in Oxford uni, mainly in the real world- I think and based heavily on Les Miserables.

Perhaps you could modify the settings to show comments and threads older than how you have it now? ^^ I only suggest it since there is one folder with some really good links and HTML advice, but you don't see it on the group homepage due to a lack of commenting there.

How about a writing section? For people's stories/books/whatever it is they are working on. It seems easier and more in tune with the group as a whole compared to a book club.

That does seem cool!

Might it be easier to make two folders, one labelled "The Writing" and one labelled "The Discussions", or something like that, anyway, so that there are less folders? And you could display them on the hope page? I only ask since it might save you room from clutter, and people can still have all their writing threads in the writing folders, with personalized fangirl/fanboy/chatting pages dedicated to their writing and stories in the discussions folder.

Oh, you could also add a journal section, perhaps? Just a suggestion. ^^

Well, I'm not featuring the writing folders on the homepage, just the basic folders. I've done journal/writing sections in the past, and they don't usually work out; I feel like if you do something like that it actually gets pretty messy and confusing, while doing separate folders can be nice. Discussion includes all of that, so this way you don't need to go to a separate folder. I think this is just going to work, because you can create a journal in your folder if you want.

I don't like how the templates folder doesn't show on the home page...

Can I have my templates in one folder and a thread to talk about them in another?

I could make a thread for template discussions so you could not clutter your discussion area but I don't think there's anywhere else I could put that.

What if everyone just had their own folder with all their threads, and you deleted the templates/workshop folders? Then you could just have one folder with info about personal folders and such?

Well the reason we changed the writing folders was because it just takes up so much space, you know? And more people make templates in this group than actually advertise their writing... I'll tell you what, I'll make a discussion thread for everyone who doesn't want clutter. If enough people use the thread, I'll make another folder for template discussion for specific people. Does that sound okay?

do you think it's possible to start up a reference folder? i have so many face claims/links/song lyrics/collab drabbles that i want to organize into one thread separate from character workshops but don't know a really good place to put them?

also, maybe people could use it for fc help or song lyric help and all that jazz because that can be just as hard as writing a character sometimes?

Could we make a GIF folder? So that we can name a thread with the actress/actor the GIFs are about, and then just have everyone post their own in there? Sort of like a directory?
