I am really excited for this one. It sounds like it will be quite entertaining. And I love the cover. Very cool. November will be here before we know it. :)

That cover really is wonderful, isn't it!

I have preordered June 9th and today and who knows how often I will do that until November. Thought then, if I would get all the books I preordered in my impatience, that would be a lot of books :) !

LOL, Sabine!
LOL, Sabine!
You're very welcome, Judy and Goge. At first I thought that it might be too early to set up a topic for FBE, but when I heard that we can already pre-order it I thought this topic could be a handy reminder of that. :-)
Just noticed you started this thread, Johanna. Thought I'd post something so I get notices and don't forget about it. :-)Love the blurb, love the cover, preordered last month...now when do we start the party?
Haldis wrote: "Love the blurb, love the cover, preordered last month...now when do we start the party?"
Ha! We already have nice surprise gifts for the release party, so how about tomorrow?
Oh. What's that Mr. Author? What?! The book isn't ready yet?! How can that be?
Well, we'll hold our party plans for a while then... (Hide the confetti! Quick, Haldis!)
No pressure whatsoever, Mr. Author.
:-D

Yes, just like you, I'm really looking forward to this one. Both the blurb and the cover have such delicious humor and sunshine and youthful energy!

Why did you have me hide the confetti? I'm pretty sure a healthy dose of confetti will revive Mr. Author.
Confetti is bright and young and carefree....and has its little frizzle frazzle sparklie suitcase packed for a trip to Europe.

No problem! :-) No, I don't think there's anything newer than that yet. :-)

Just read the sneak peek on the blog. :-) Mistaken identity, tangerine lipstick, fedoras, the London underground, and of course Esquires Europe in Style.....can't wait.

We really have to start figuring out our American-British-French launch party menu, though. Bagels, baguettes or cucumber sandwiches? Hmm...

I had hoped, that Jefferson visit Berlin too. But I love London and like Paris :-) !We can have bagels, baguettes and a High Tea.
I think we should set up individual stations with food and decoration from each represented country....Or we can just throw everything together under a sign that reads: BANGERS AND BAGUETTES

I don't know why (maybe because I work for a law firm) but when I saw the 'Esq.' I automatically thought he was an attorney.

Me, too. High five, Haldis! I love that movie. One of my childhood favourites. :)

Yes! I'm sure Jefferson will follow in Bill and Ted's footsteps and have an "excellent adventure"
Maybe he can go to Waterloo.

Fresh out of college and recently dumped by his long-time girlfriend, shy and bookish Jefferson Blythe is touring Europe using an inherited vintage copy of Esquire Magazine's Europe in Style.
Jefferson Blythe, Esquire is about old maps, new adventures, getting lost, getting found, getting drunk, and being mistaken for an international criminal. In other words, normal summer vacation when you're in your twenties.
