The pet store was owned by an animal love who left this note in a glass frame saying
To whoever finds,
I have not let the animals I care rot in this place, I have freed them all to survive in the wild. I have left all the pet supplies here so people caring for animals may use it. Take what you need but keep in mind of others who may need it.

You can find food, cages and all pet supplies. Use these if you travel with an animal.

About a block away, Bliss slowed down so that she was quiet. She didn't want to scare the very few animals still living here away.

john smiled pulling up along the street. he was surprised there were still animals hanging around. he'd take them all with him if he could he loved animals so much. he always had even if he was never allowed to get near them.

Bliss walked slowly to the store, looking for a paw or yip of a dog. She knelt down near the gutter and looked down. She winced as her bruise touched the gun on her back again.

"you okay bliss?" john asked quietly concerned as he walked over to her

She smiled "Yeah" she said before squealing a bit.

john looked at her still concerned but let her look for what ever she was looking foe

She cooed a bit before pulling some meat from her bag "Well isn't this my lucky day!" she squealed before waving the steak in the drain "Here by, come and get the steak" she said down the drain. She backed away before a young german shepherd came bounding out and tackled her for the meat. She laughed before giving in an letting it have it.

john grinned looking at the dog, but he made sure to watch it. stray dogs weren't always the most well behaved or friendly

Bliss smiled and looked at the dog for any signs of cuts or disease. She saw none and when the dog happily tackled her, she assumed that someone had been taking care of it and then only recently released him. She headed into the store to look for dog food and accessories and the dog happily followed.

john chuckled following after the two " what are you gunna name her" he asked curiously

She cocked her head at John "I think it's a dude" she said with laugh as she grabbed a kennel, dog food, leash and chew toy swell as a studded black leather collar. She put it around it's neck and it licked her face. She looked up at John "Wanna name it?" she said before it went over to him and jumped up so that it's paws were on his shoulders.

john smiled softly scratching behind the dogs ears "ummm... I don't know" he said thinking as he pet the dog "Sherlock? looks like a very perceptive smart dog to me"

Bliss smiled "Sherlick it is" she said before putting on his leash "and now I have to train him to hunt. Easy peasy" she said before heading toward the door with her stuff. The bag hit her bruise and she winced.

"bliss give me your bag" he said sternly "and as soon as we get back im going to fix you up, no ifs or buts"

Bliss would have usually been stubborn and not listened, but she gave in because he was so stern. She cautiously handed him her bags, but only two. She kept three herself and kept on walking.

he walked behind her four bags on his good arm. he looked down at the dog smiling warmly, he was cute.

Bliss sat on her bike and put Sherlock on the gap intron of her. The sun was setting as she looked at John "I guess we should call it a day before any blank eyes show up

"yah" john agreed turning on the engine of his bike "lets get out of here"

Bliss reed and yawn tiredly before Driving toward the safe house
