Summer Reading Book Club discussion

Hello,

Second round of SRBC starts today, June 14th. I hope you were all able to get your book.

I got mine through my local library a few days ago. I had to start it right away, I just couldn't wait!

I got my copy today and I wanted to read a little before bed. now it's three hours later and I'm finished.. books over sleep any day

1/2 way through & I really hope my opinion doesn't change by the end of the book because I adore it!

I just got it and started it already! :)

Does this stand alone or do I need to have read the first book?

I would certainly suggest reading the first book in the duology.

I'm still doing my finals and I accidentally read the first page - I guess I can still study when I finish the book, right? :)

I'm taking my time reading it because I really enjoyed the first book,but also I don't want to miss anything. I find that if I read quickly I lose a lot of what goes on. Plus it doesn't help that I am also reading The Violets in March fir the other forum.

Finished. Still Adore. Can't wait for everyone else to read it so we can chat about it :)

I bought it on Kindle, then wanted to read a few minutes before bed... At 1.30 am I finally put it aside- finished. I wanted to savor it but I got sooo hooked.

I'm about a quarter of the way through and am actually enjoying this one more than the first. There was nothing wrong with the first one, it was very cute and I really enjoyed it. But this one seems to have more substance. I may just be biased because of all of the feminist content in this one though :)

I really liked the first one. And this one so far is great but to me is typical high school drama. I'm also about a quarter way through I'm hoping that it will be less high school drama and more about the relationship

Just finished this book. I really liked it. The drama between Peter, Lara Jean, and John is typical high school. However, I liked how they brought John into the book. I thought John and Lara Jean's fist date US dance was great so classy, but the snow scene was definitely romantic. I am hoping that Jenny Han will continue the story of Lara Jean and Peter.
