Occupation: Advanced Science Teacher at Clever Academy
History: Born at home, Biblius Apparatus Pyre was an only child, whose parents were both chemical engineers. He was a very antisocial child, preferring the company of books and computers to humans. He started playing cello at age nine, and a year later his parents died in an explosion in their home laboratory. The house remained intact, but Biblius, being underage, moved in with his uncle Noose. Called uncle, "Byte", for his love of anything electronic and emotionless, he devoted himself wholly to his studies after that, apart from self teaching cello to great effect. In his last year at Clever Academy, he started to attain a streak of grey in his hair (though genetically of gradually dyed on purpose he would never say). A few of his classmate wrote him off as rather mad (and he had no friends to deny this claim) when he turned down one girl who "asked him out" on a whim. He claimed he did not know her name, and she would probably have a hard time remembering his, having just broken up with someone else. (Apparently she changed boyfriends often, and this was the one thing Biblius knew about her)
After his graduation, and having been published under a pseudonym in several scientific magazines hoping to come across the grounds for a path of work, he briefly considered suicide, but when he (calmly) told his uncle this, Noose had his medications immediately reevaluated, and though Biblius later claimed they made no difference, he cast these thoughts aside and took up a job as the Advanced Science teacher at Clever Academy mere months after his graduation there. As soon as he had sufficient funds, he moved into a small apartment in East Clever (if there is one, I can modify if not) one day without hardly giving Noose warning. He still meets Noose a few times a week for lunch, and uses him as a go-between for his psychiatrist.

Personality: a Myers Briggs (a type of personality test) INTJ. He views teaching as the high point of his life so far. He spends little time with others, outside of the classroom. extremely introverted and uncomfortable in loud crowds. He demands absolute silence in his class except for the last five minutes of it each session. Occasionally forces himself to attend a public event of some sort, but almost always regrets it later for some reason or other. Shuns romantic involvement in mortal fear of a "breakup", and the emotional damage sure to come thereof, to both sides involved.
Biblius suffers from clinical depression, but is on medication for it and though he usually seems very sad, is livelier in the classroom.

Likes: Strenuous mental exertion; any food with pumpkin in it; and (meaningful, not flattery and pointless) compliments, mostly for his work.
Dislikes: Cold food (front teeth very sensitive to temperature) Really hates being mocked or teased, even playfully. More than anything he despises brain farts.

Strengths: Very confident in his own abilities, good at avoiding contact with other people. An exceptional programmer also.

Weaknesses: Extremely introverted, and clinically depressed, a bad combination that takes its toll on him heavily. Prone to sleeping in, though he can (usually) keep to weekends with that.

Hobbies: Computer Programming, teaching, writing for science journals, posting videos of over elaborate Rube Goldberg devices he builds in his apartment to the Internet, Cello and music composition

Family: his only living relation is his uncle Noose, who is also the only person he spends much time with.

Fears: being completely unable to make any change to a situation, has a recurring nightmare about one of his research papers exploding in his face, and cannot stand loud noise/music. Especially shrill, and the shriller and louder the worse.

Greatest desire: a confidant for his anxiety and emotional trouble other than his uncle, who slightly annoys him.
