{Name} Frozenkit, Frozenpaw, Frozenheart
{Gender} She-kit [Female]
{Age} One [1] moon
|Location of Birth| ShadowClan Nursery
{Clan} ShadowClan
{Rank} Kit
{Personality}
Frozenkit is far more calm and composed than her three littermates, and she manifests this demeanor in an extreme manner. Frozenkit thinks out her words and actions with almost cold and calculating precision, taking great care to never reveal her emotions. To some, she appears very detached and even unsociable, though in truth, she is still very much capable of acting playfully.
Within her reserved exterior, Frozenkit conceals a great deal of guilt and is incredibly burdened by her strange intelligence. Above all else, Frozenkit longs for the company of her littermates but is haunted by the way her mind works much quicker than all kits her age and even some older than her. As such, Frozenkit tries her best to suppress her intelligence and curiousity; to some degree, she recognizes that her intelligence is tied to her emotions and has chosen to adopt a guarded and withdrawn demeanor to conceal them. Despite the way she shuts people out, Frozenkit genuinely cares for others and feels it is her responsibility to keep her distance and ensure everyone's ignorance. Essentially, she doesn't appreciate the fact that she can comprehend and understand practically everything and anything she starts to think about, and she wants the rest of her littermates to appreciate the virtue of ignorance that they obtain at their age.
Nonetheless, Frozenkit's choice to suppress her true self by acting like the perfect child her mother would like her to be has had a heavy toll on her. She fears revealing secrets she has figured out, even to the point where she refuses her family and friends to chat with her, concerned that her intelligence could show accidentally. And rather than confronting problems head on, Frozenkit tends to turn away from unpleasant situations.

Nightfeather is a night-black she-cat with deep green eyes. She looks angry all the time (probably because she is). Her fur is short and thin, so she gets cold easily. Mate: Never will have one
PERSONALITY
General: Nightfeather is a quiet cat that doesn't trust her Clanmates. It's interesting because she doesn't believe in StarClan, but gets messages from her mother, Shadow. She is sarcastic and witty, and puts up barriers to avoid talking about her life as a loner. She isn't distrusting because of her loner life or past experience, but because she assumes her Clanmates don't trust her. Behind the tough exterior, she is kind, caring, and sympathetic. She lets in a little with her closest friends, but doesn't talk much beyond insults and threats. She hates fighting.
Strengths: Healing, tracking, keeping secrets
Weaknesses: listening, fighting, seeing through
Fears: Death, the dark
Goals: To find her mother's killer and become a legendary medicine cat.
Quirks: Washing her ears constantly, sorting herbs.
Hobbies: collecting and sorting herbs
HISTORY
Night was born to a loner named Shadow at midnight, along with (some other cat). At a young age, Shadow dumped Night in the ShadowClan camp. A warrior found her and put her in the nursery.
As a kit, Nightkit was teased by the other kits because of her roots. She never told them outright that she was part loner, so they assumed she was a kittypet. She found refuge in the medicine cat's den, where she could hide and learn about herbs. At the age of 5 moons, she decided to become a medicine cat. She told Rainstar this and became the apprentice medicine cat. Sadly, her mentor, Featherstripe, died before giving Nightpaw her name. Nightpaw chose the name Nightfeather, in honor of her mentor.
One night, while collecting herbs, she smelled a cat, along with the scent of blood. She hurried over to investigate and saw her mother's corpse. She sat there for the rest of the night. Seeing this hardened her, and she is one of the most bitter and quiet medicine cats ever (maybe not as good as Yellowfang or Jayfeather).
When her half-sister-ish, Rainstorm, became leader, Nightfeather was overjoyed, for once happy and content with the Clan, and proud to be her medicine cat.
Now Nightfeather lives in the ShadowClan camp, taking good care of her Clanmates and avoiding violence. She hopes to take on an apprentice soon.

{Appearance}
Pelt

Rainstar's coat is long and thick, something she always hated about her fur. It is constantly tangled, unless she is going to a gathering or calling a Clan meeting, as she just doesn't feel the urge to take care of it. The pelt's main color is silver, mixed with darker and lighter greys along her back. Her face has a bit of a tan-brown color along her left cheek and side of her nose. her chest and underbelly is white, blended at the sides but vibrant in the middle. Her ears have tufts of fur coming out, as if her kitten fur never went away, which, to her, it never did. Her paws are mostly white, blended with a little brown around the edges and her claws are a dark black and longer than most's in the Clan. Her nose is a pale pink, sometimes appearing tan.
Eyes

Rainstar's eyes are almond shaped, with a long pink tear duct, longer than most cats. Their color is a vibrant blue, appearing icier around the edges and darker towards the pupil. Their intense color is what Rainstar was named for.
Body Structure
Rainstorm is smaller than most cats, but is mostly average size. Her legs and tail are long, allowing her great speed and near-perfect balance. She is skinny as well, as to do with her stubbornness about not eating unless everyone else has, preventing her from eating at days at a time at some points. However, no one really ever seems to notice, due to her thick fur. What weight that does appear on her is complete muscle. As one of her Clan's best fighters, she is constantly working on her battle moves, be it with her own apprentices or another mentor's or simply on her own. Weakness has never been an option for her and her hard work makes it obvious. She is very strong, especially for a she-cat, and is stronger than most of her Clan, including the toms.
Distinguishable Marks
She has a deep tear in her right ear, a result of a fox encounter during her apprentice days, and a long scar on her left shoulder from a deep gash after a battle with RiverClan over the border.
{Personality}
Fierce, passionate, and stubborn would be the terms to describe Rainstar. Pushed constantly by her own perseverance, the determined leader never stops until the job is done or the mission is a success. She is not like other leaders in that she does not stop to think before she acts and her wisdom is not always one used as an example. Part of this is likely due to her upbringing in ShadowClan, especially the part about her always looking for a fight. She is extremely stubborn as well, almost never letting others influence her decisions, which can be frustrating for both her medicine cat and her deputy. However, this stubbornness can be put forth in a positive manner through her determination. She never gives up, even if it means her life. This is likely why ShadowClan has not yet lost a battle since Rainstar has been leader--not that she's been leader very long.
On the outside, Rainstar is very tough, the exact opposite of the stereotypical she-cat; the one that is a warrior for a few moons, then ends up in the nursery with a litter of kits. She has never wanted kits of her own, feeling that they would only ever get in her way of doing her best to help the Clan. When she was an older apprentice and younger warrior, many of the toms had quite the crush on her, seeing as she is quite a gorgeous feline, but she quickly made it clear to them she wanted nothing to do with love and mates. In fact, it was somewhat in a harsh manner. She can be rude at times, simply because she doesn't always think her words through. She can ramble at points because of this as well. At her heart she means well, and most cats are able to see that, she just has a hard time showing it.
Under her rough and sassy exterior, however, Rainstar is really quite a softy. With those she cares about, such as her brother and sister Cloudflight and Leafdance, she is very caring and gentle. She also somehow always knows what to say when another cat is feeling down, though her rambling can make it take a while to come out. She is gentle with kits and young apprentices, and when she is mentoring an apprentice, or simply giving on advice, she can always make her words seem both kind and influential. Beneath her tough surface, Rainstar is really a sweet she-cat, one who may just have a mate and kits yet.
{Strengths}
Fighting/Battle training; Rainstar is extremely strong, and she knows it. She is always using her see and strength to her advantage in battle and it's nearly impossible to get the better of her.
{Weaknesses}
Hunting; Rainstar has a much harder time hunting than she does fighting. Her skills could easily be beaten by an older apprentice, but she honestly doesn't care. She continues to try her hardest and when she doesn't catch anything, she refuses to eat. She is also too selfless for her own good, her stubbornness to not eat until the rest of the Clan has forcing her to go hungry for days at a time. This can often weaken her and force her to spend time in the medicine cat den. However, she never seems to learn from this mistake and continues to make it.
{Fears}
Not living up to her full potential; losing a battle.
{Quirks}
Tugging at knots in her fur when she's thinking.
{Goals}
Being the strongest cat in all the Clans and never again losing a battle, making ShadowClan a force not to be reckoned with.
{Background}
Rainkit was born to Sunbreeze, a harsh queen in the ShadowClan nursery. Her father was Falconstep, though he wasn't around her and her littermates much, as he tended to avoid their mother. Rainkit was born with one brother and one sister, Cloudkit and Leafkit, respectively. When they were young, they were always getting into trouble, some of the most mischievous kits in the Clan. This was likely because they were constantly on the hunt for attention, seeing as their parents tended to ignore them. They were really too young to understand what was going on at first, though it became obvious when they were apprentices.
Leafpaw was the first of the three to find out, as she was always the smarter of the littermates. It turned out that Falconstep was really not their birth father, though the rest of the Clan had been told that. He and Sunbreeze had been mates for a long time, though when she told him that she was expecting kits, he knew it was impossible, for nothing had ever happened between the two more than loving gazes back and forth. To this day, Rainstar, Cloudflight, and Leafdance have no idea who their real father is, nor do they even know if he was Clan or not. No one else in the Clan knows about this, as the three decided to keep it a secret after Sunbreeze passed onto StarClan due to whitecough.
Due to her tense relationship with her mother, Rainpaw was one of the hardest working apprentices during that time, always wanting to impress her mentor and receive approval and attention for her actions. This sometimes caused her to speak out, both in good and bad ways. She quickly earned a reputation throughout the Clan, both good and bad, depending on who you talk to. However, because of her stubbornness and determination, which she developed at a young age, Rainpaw became one of the best fighters in the Clan, receiving her warrior name Rainstorm after a fierce battle with a fox on the territory. She was given the name storm to show her ferocity and fierceness in battle, as relentless as a storm when she wanted to get something done.
Falconstep eventually passed on to StarClan as well, from nothing more than natural causes as an elder. Rainstorm hadn't had much of a connection with him, the least of her littermates, in fact, and therefore didn't even sit vigil for him when he died. She didn't sit for her mother either. Most cats thought her strange for this, but Rainstar simply never cared much for either of them, holding a strong grudge against them for ignoring her and her littermates. Cloudflight and Leafdance, however, sat vigil for their parents, but never asked Rainstorm to do so with them. They understood her reasons.
Rainstorm was twenty-one moons when she was chosen as deputy, quite a young age to be given such an important position. However, no one challenged the leader on his decision of her, simply because they agreed. It was obvious she was one of the best fighters in the Clan and that she would make a fabulous leader. Unfortunately, the previous leader died much before his time, after a badger attack on the camp, protecting the kits. Rainstorm had quickly taken over protecting the nursery and drove the badgers out of camp along with the rest of the warriors. That evening, she traveled to the moonpool and received her nine lives and the name Rainstar. She has only been leader for two moons now, and ShadowClan has not lost a single battle or border skirmish since. There is still time, but because of her ferocity, it seems unlikely to her Clan.

Name - Age - 96 moons (8 years)
Gender - Tomcat
Clan - ShadowClan
Rank - Deputy
Appearance -

Rowanheart has a silver pelt with black stripes (representing Rowan's tattoo). He is "tall", "broud-shouldered", and "every inch of him is seemingly corded with muscle". He has "delicately pointed ears" and "slightly elongated canines".
Eyes -

Rowanheart's eyes are pine green.
Personality - Rowanheart is known to be one of ShadowClan's meanest and fiercest warriors, and to inflict unnecessary wounds in battle, a "stone-cold killer". Truth is, he's never meant to be like this, it just happened. He only acts that way in battle to release his pent up anger, and there's a lot of it, and has a true warrior's "lethal grace and surety". Really he just wants revenge that he knows he can never have, because it's not really any cat's fault what happened. Rowanheart's real personality only comes out when he is around Slateleaf (Slatepaw), because she is the only one who understands what he's been through. Around Slateleaf, he is teasing, sarcastic, playful, and honest. He changed after meeting Slateleaf, but only the cats closest to him, which isn't many, noticed. His reputation changed a little after meeting Slateleaf, but most cats still can't forget about his past. He does not enjoy inflicting pain, like most cats think, but defends his loved ones (not necessarily his clan) with his life.
Strengths - Lethal grace and surety, standing still, battle, hiding emotions, intimidation, very respected (if not feared), and once you earn his loyalty it can never be broken unless betrayed.
Weaknesses - Slateleaf, past, and kits.
Goals - To be trusted by all Clan cats.
Fears - Slateleaf dying.
History - All of his family was brutally murdered in battle while he was an apprentice. This just caused him to train all the harder and eventually become the best warrior, at least with fighting and hunting. He had a loving mate, Amberbreeze, but she was also murdered when he was about 36 moons (3 years) old. Amberbreeze was pregnant when the ShadowClan camp was invaded and the unborn kit also died. He blames himself for Amberbreeze's death because he was out on the moon-high patrol when the ShadowClan camp was invaded by rogues. He thinks that he could have gotten to the camp in time if he had run faster. This is the reason for him becoming so cold-hearted and adept in battle. Also, it is the reason for him always avoiding the nursery and being practically scared of kits. It took him until meeting Slatepaw(leaf) to get over that. Hence the quote, "When my mate died, it took me a very, very long time to come back."
It took her a moment to think of what to say.
"How long?"
"Two hundred three years, twenty-seven days ago." -Sarah J. Maas, Heir of Fire
Family
Mother - Goldenstream (deceased, killed in battle)
Father - Shadeleap (deceased, killed in battle)
Littermates - None
Siblings - None
Kits - One unborn
Mate - Amberbreeze (deceased, killed in battle)
Other - Absolute best friend/confidant is Slatepaw(leaf) from ThunderClan. From her similiar experiences and understanding, he got over the death of his mate and family.
(For anyone who has read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, think of Rowan.)
NAME: Deadfeather
AGE: 49 moons
GENDER: Tom
RANK PROGRESSION: Kit»Apprentice»Warrior»Senior Warrior»Elder
CLAN: ShadowClan
APPRENTICES:
--Sicklyfrond [Demi], between the age of 29-35 moons old.
--Spiderpaw [Tempus], began mentoring at the age of 48 moons old.
FATHER: Acornbelly - a wizened old tomcat with a very brown underbelly, with dark stripes across his back. [open - elder]
MOTHER: Greentail - named for how she would slink through the grass, with the tip of her tail often confused in the autumn for a dead piece of grass, though she vanished when he was 16 moons.
LITTERMATES: Echospring - his lone littermate, who went on to run away from the Clans due to finding the loneliness she craved as a loner. [Wings]
KITS: Spiderpaw [Tempus]; Sootpaw [Tempus]; Pricklepaw [JoJo]; Thornkit [deceased].
MATE: Previously: Fallenberry.
APPEARANCE: As a black-pelted warrior, Deadfeather puts his shadowy fur to use as he keeps to the shadows during hunts and possible confrontations. His stealthy ability is only hindered by his bright amber eyes, and the white tip of his tail that he carefully tries to keep in the brush.
PERSONALITY: Deadfeather is a very stern, determined cat, who favours the skill and respect of his Clanmates over their more intimate relations, which he gained from his mother, and passed down to his kits. There are few that he would trust, past his leader, medicine cat and deputy, but those who do earn his trust are those he finds the most promising cats. His respect for the elders is immense, as they remind him that even the strongest of cats can become elders, and their job of passing down old tales and the immense importance of StarClan and the warrior code make them an integral part of the Clan.
STRENGTHS: Deadfeather is not the best, but prides himself on his hunting capabilities, with his stealth that allows him to circle his prey until he finds the perfect spot. His secondary strength would be his stoicism; even with blood pouring from his wounds, the warrior will not give up if a Clanmate is in danger, for he believes that StarClan would be disappointed in him if he were to rest.
WEAKNESSES: While he would not admit it, Deadfeather is power-hungry, and this is something that he suppresses, but in the event of believing that he has a better idea than a leader, deputy or medicine cat, he is not afraid to stand up and tell them that they are wrong. He is also very overprotective of his kits, and since Fallenberry's passing he has kept a close eye on the litter for any trouble they might make, refusing to lose any more kits or 'family'.
GOALS: Deadfeather ideally wants to become a deputy before he becomes an elder, and tries to prove his worth to the Clan by going in-depth with his strategy plans, and often is the first to bring fresh-kill to the elders.
FEARS: He fears disappointing StarClan most of all, as he believes that their approval is what he seeks the most. He also fears Twolegs, as most Clan cats do, but the stench of one can send him running off back to safety.
HISTORY: Deadkit was a very curious little kit, and would often cause trouble in the nursery alongside Echokit, ignoring the scolding they got from warriors and queens alike, until the medicine cat told the two of them that StarClan was always watching them, and would be disappointed if they got themselves into danger. From that moment onwards, Deadkit swore to himself and StarClan that he would be a more honourable and careful cat, while Echokit scoffed at his fears.
As apprentices, Deadpaw and Echopaw drifted apart, as Deadpaw focused on honing his hunting skills with his mentor, and Echopaw eagerly sought out her own independence from the Clan as much as possible. Deadpaw was upset to see his littermate arguing with her mentor as the moons passed by about how she could hunt by herself, and her attempts to refuse patrol duty so that she could spend the time alone hunting. He tried to persuade her to join him and his mentor, thinking that perhaps she did not get along with her own mentor, but she refused.
At his warrior ceremony, Deadpaw was named Deadfeather, as the leader had remembered the dead crow that lay outside the camp the day he was born. He sat his vigil in silence alongside another new warrior, and quickly found himself wrapped up in the world of a warrior, one who could be far more responsible and daring. Echopaw sulked over being left behind, but by this point he had left his sister behind, not wanting her to keep him held back, as his father insisted she was.
At the age of 29 moons, he took on Sicklypaw as an apprentice, and tried to be careful about pushing her too hard, though he was frustrated that she would be behind the other apprentices due to beginning her apprenticeship so late. However, she was a determined cat, and he was pleased, and so taught her willingly and hoped that her disadvantage would be forgotten. She was eventually named Sicklyfrond at her ceremony, and he puffed out his chest in pride.
Eventually, he met Fallenberry, and the moment she found out that she was expecting kits, he ran out to join a patrol, both overjoyed and frightened at the prospect of having a litter of kits sharing his paw steps, looking up to him. He distanced himself from Fallenberry, and at the same time began to notice Echospring's behaviour. It was barely a half-moon before his sister fled the Clan with not even a goodbye, and Acornbelly became more reserved, realising that he had failed to bring his kits up properly for the good of ShadowClan. By the time Deadfeather's litter was born, Echospring was scarcely a memory in ShadowClan, though Deadfeather tried to find her scent, anywhere. Each patrol he walked, he would look out for his tabby sister, hoping that, even if he could not repair the bond they had shared as kits, he could at least introduce her to his kits.
Fallenberry queened four kits: Sootkit, Spiderkit, Pricklekit and Thornkit. The litter split themselves into two, and he could not help but favour his bolder kits, Sootkit and Spiderkit, over the weaker ones, much to Fallenberry's sadness. Thornkit was soon lost to illness at four moons old, and then Fallenberry was struck down just before the remaining kits of the litter were about to become apprentices. A badger had attacked the camp, and Fallenberry, fiercely defending her kits, was killed. Sootpaw, Spiderpaw and Pricklepaw became apprentices, and he took on his only son, Spiderpaw, as his apprentice, due to the shortage of warriors.

NAME: Spiderkit » Spiderpaw » Spiderfrost
AGE: 7 moons
GENDER: Tom
CLAN: ShadowClan
RANK PROGRESSION: Kit » Apprentice » Warrior » Senior Warrior
MENTOR: Deadfeather.
FATHER: Deadfeather - a warrior whose name comes from the dead crow found outside of the nursery the sun-up he was born. [Tempus]
MOTHER: Fallenberry - a warrior born from a ShadowClan warrior and a loner, killed by a badger.
LITTERMATES:
--Pricklekit»Pricklepaw»Prickleclaw [JoJo]
--Sootkit»Sootpaw»Sootwhisker [Tempus]
--Thornkit, died at 4 moons old.
APPEARANCE: Spiderpaw's black fur comes from his father's shining dark pelt, and reminded his parents of the spiders that crawl through the undergrowth. His piercing blue eyes match those of his mother, like droplets of morning dew reflecting the clear sky. Small compared to his littermates, with short, sharp claws, Spiderpaw is more lithe and quick with these advantages. Where he lacks in strength, he makes up for it in his agility.
PERSONALITY: Spiderpaw is much like his father in his harsh attitude, his focus on what is good for the Clan, even if it puts himself in danger, and ultimately his harshness comes in how he reacts to being told 'no' or to back down. His downfall is his temperamental nature played into this, and how he interacts with others - he does not know how to be 'nice' to other cats since much of his kithood revolved around competition with his littermates.
STRENGTHS: His determination is what drives him to do the absolute best, which leads to a typical never-back-down stubbornness, useful for confrontations in border disputes. This determination encourages him to hunt for longer periods of time, as he often refuses to return to camp unless he has caught some fresh-kill. Another strength of Spiderpaw is his agility, how he can duck beneath fallen logs, squeeze through the smallest of thorn-ringed gaps, and how he can leap with relative (but not perfect) precision. His small size allows him more control over his body, and with practice he hopes to hone his speed.
WEAKNESSES While he excels in skill, Spiderpaw's downfall lies in his temper, as a young cat who is more likely to argue against orders unless it is proven to him that he should comply for the betterment of the Clan. His loyalty is his secondary weakness, as he is not always as rational as other Clanmates over decisions. No matter the risk, he does not weigh the consequences against the conclusion, and struggles to find balance. He is rather susceptible to manipulation, if a cat was able to persuade him to do things 'for the Clan'.
GOALS: Spiderpaw is a very ambitious cat, passed down to him through his mother, and from the moment he was born she willed him to become the best warrior alongside his littermates. Even with her now amongst StarClan, Spiderpaw is determined to prove himself to be, at first, capable, and then the most skilled warrior. He yearns to be respected through his skill and wants to be able to tell the most daring, best stories as an elder to his kits to come.
FEARS: Because of his mother's death, Spiderpaw finds himself fearful of badgers, which even a whiff of scent can cause him to freeze in terror. The idea of a creature so vile and strong as a badger, that could strike down his mother, horrifies him.
HISTORY: Born first of a litter of four, Spiderkit quickly followed his sister, Sootkit, in the curious exploration of the nursery once they could both see and stumble around. Their littermates Pricklekit and Thornkit were less enthusiastic, but this brought Spiderkit and Sootkit together more. The two were often found play-fighting and trying to 'beat the bad cats' who 'invaded' the camp. Occasionally, they would get in the way of others, and once they attempted to escape from camp, but Deadfeather found them before they could. Eventually, Thornkit fell ill, and joined StarClan at the age of four moons, leaving the three littermates to practice together and do what they could to make up for the physical loss of their sister for the next two moons. Days from the apprentice ceremony, a badger struck Fallenberry down, leaving the kits with the comfort of the other queen(s).
At their apprentice ceremony, Sootpaw was apprenticed to Rainstar, much to her littermates' disdain, but Spiderpaw was happy to be mentored by their father. He and Pricklepaw began to grow closer, and slid around the camp entrance to find some better, fresh moss for their bedding, only to be seen by Rowanheart, Pricklepaw's mentor and the deputy of the Clan. They were sent on their first border patrol the next dawn: Rowanheart, Deadfeather, Pricklepaw and Spiderpaw.

::General::
Name: Pricklepaw (Prickleclaw)
Age: 7 Moons
Gender: She-Cat
Location of Birth: ShadowClan Nursery
Clan Specific
Clan: ShadowClan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Rowanheart
Personality
General: Pricklepaw is a complicated little she-cat. She received her name due to her immediate prickliness upon birth, her claws little pinpricks in her mother's side and her mews sprinkled with a hint of hostility. She's got a tough exterior, Thornkit being the only cat she really ever let inside. But under that prickly shell is a sensitive she-cat, one who cares deeply for her family and clanmates, unable to watch them suffer without feeling empathy and sympathy. However, Pricklepaw prefers to keep that part of her hidden. Afterall, ShadowClan warriors are supposed to be tough, not weak, crying little kits. So she puts on a brave face, using her sharp tongue to help keep others from finding out who she truly is.
The relationship Spiderpaw and Sootpaw have is one that Pricklepaw finds herself watching with jealousy. She had that with Thornkit, but now she has no one. She's not like her other littermates who are filled with ambition and drive, curiosity and boldness. Pricklepaw does as she's told, follows the rules, does what she know will make those around her proud. That's not to say she doesn't love her littermates, she holds them very close to her heart, but she always feels a bit like an outsider when the three of them are together.
Strengths: Pricklepaw's greatest strength is her ability to go unnoticed. She's not only stealthy out in the forest or on the battlefield, but she can sneak up on conversations or events that she's not supposed to be privy to. But, she generally doesn't use that strength to eavesdrop. Pricklepaw loves to hunt, she's not the greatest at it, but that's the skill she wants to eventually be able to call her greatest strength.
Weaknesses: Like her brother, Pricklepaw has some issues with her temper. She's not as rash with her actions, her anger makes words spill out of her mouth before she can really think about what she's saying. Pricklepaw's tongue is one of the sharpest in all the Clan's.
Fears: Pricklepaw's greatest fear is losing more of her family members. She would do absolutely anything to protect her littermates, her father, and her grandfather.
Goals: Pricklepaw just wants to make her father proud. She knows she may not get to be the best at everything, but she'll try her hardest at whatever is thrown her way.
Description

(just pretend the eyes are blue :) )
Appearance: Her piercing blue gaze comes from her mother, Fallenberry, while her deep brown tabby pelt comes from her grandfather, Acornbelly. She even inherited his signature dark underbelly. From her father, although it isn't in the same place, she inherited a splash of white. While the tip of Deadfeather's tail is white, a spot on the left side of her muzzle is white. Pricklepaw has great pride in the fact that she holds some piece to all her family in her appearance. Spiderpaw and her share the same eyes, while Sootpaw and her share the relatively same pelt and build.
Eyes: Piercing Blue
Pelt: Dark Brown Tabby with Darker Underbelly
Distinctive Markings: Dark Underbelly, Patch of White on Left Side of Muzzle
History
Kitted: Pricklekit was born alongside her three littermates: Spiderkit, Sootkit, and Thornkit. Pricklekit and her sister, Thornkit, instantly became close friends. Preferring to stay within the walls of the nursery, close to their mother compared to the adventures that Spiderkit and Sootkit took. Sadly, at the age of four moons, Thornkit passed away due to sickness. Pricklekit was the hardest hit by this loss, she had not only lost her sister but her best friend as well. As Pricklekit was just beginning to get over the loss of Thornkit in anticipation of her apprentice ceremony, Fallenberry, her mother, was killed by a badger. This made Pricklekit feel even more alone.
Apprenticed: Pricklepaw was just made an apprentice, and is being mentored by Rowanheart.

Sibling(s): Spiderpaw (Brother), Sootpaw (Sister), Thornkit (Sister, Deceased)
Crush: Open
Mate: Little to Young
Offspring: None Yet
Other: Misses Thornkit more than she cares to admit
NAME: Sootkit » Sootpaw » Sootwhisker
AGE: 7 moons
GENDER: She-cat
CLAN; RANK: ShadowClan apprentice
MENTOR: Rainstar [Arieya]
FATHER: Deadfeather, of ShadowClan [Tempus]
MOTHER: Fallenberry, of ShadowClan, deceased
LITTERMATES:
-- Pricklekit»Pricklepaw»Prickleclaw [JoJo]
-- Spiderkit»Spiderpaw»Spiderfrost [Tempus]
-- Thornkit, deceased
APPEARANCE: Much like her mother, Sootpaw is a dark-striped tabby cat, allowing her to slink through the dark woods in relative stealth, with bright, blinking amber eyes from her father. Larger than her brother, Spiderpaw, she has great strength in her haunches, and it shows beneath her striped fur. Her four paws are a splash of white, though due to her exploration are generally dirtied very quickly.
PERSONALITY: Sootpaw's curiosity manifested as a very young kit, landing her in trouble somewhat frequently, but this ultimately lead her to become a very alert young she-cat who looks for the small passing scents, no matter how stale. She focuses on her surroundings keenly, and is the first to boldly explore the territory. Brave, Sootpaw wants to fight for her Clan, but understands that she cannot rush in on her own.
STRENGTHS: With the differences between her littermates, Sootpaw has learned not to judge a Clanmate too harshly, as even the most miserable of cats might be a soft cat at heart. This makes her more understanding of others who, like Acornbelly, might have been through too much loss to cope with. She is also an exceptional play-fighter, and even as an apprentice she adores tumbling around with kits outside of the nursery, sharing a queen's bond with raising them, which makes her fiercely protective of them.
WEAKNESSES: Her curiosity is her weakness, as it can lead her astray into danger if another cat is not around to call for help. She is also poor at hunting, as she can be too distracted to sneak up on prey.
GOALS: Eventually, Sootpaw hopes to become a queen and care for her own kits. In the meanwhile, she strives to become a great warrior, and wants to mentor as many apprentices as possible to help them become strong for the Clan.
FEARS: After Thornkit's death, Sootpaw has developed a fear of losing her littermates, as she wants to keep close to Spiderpaw and Pricklepaw. Her mother's passing also placed a fear of the scent of badgers - she cannot settle around the stale scent of badger.
HISTORY: As a young kit, she explored the nursery and camp with Spiderkit, leading 'expeditions' around the dens, sneaking around older cats, and taking apart old moss in the elders' den to try and find secrets like beetles and ants. The two attempted to leave camp to explore, but Deadfeather stopped them hurriedly. Stuck in camp, Sootkit watched the goings on of her Clanmates, and looked up in awe at such strong cats like Rainstar, Rowanheart and Thistlefrost. Barely a few sunrises before her apprentice ceremony, Fallenberry was struck down by a badger as she attempted to protect her kits. Scarred by the experience, Sootkit hopes to never come across another badger ever again.
Sootkit became Sootpaw at her apprentice ceremony, and was ecstatic to be chosen as Rainstar's very own apprentice. She was proud to have been given the most important mentor, and eagerly went on her first patrol with Rainstar and Thistlefrost, though only after rubbing it in the faces of her littermates.

Name: Pinestream
Age: 26 Moons
Gender: She-Cat
Location of Birth: ShadowClan Nursery
Season of Birth: Leaf-Bare
Clan Specific
Clan: ShadowClan
Rank: Warrior
Mentored By: Rowanheart
Apprentices: Hawkpaw
Personality
General: Pinestream is very motherlike, always looking out for the younger cats and even as a warrior she stops by to check on the elders, seeing if they need any assistance. With this maternal instinct comes a fierce sense of protectiveness for her entire clan, she's like a mama bear if you try to harm her clan. She’s very hot-tempered, her claws oftentimes coming unsheathed before they have too. Yet, with this temper also comes a great control. Pinestream rarely lets her anger turn into a physical confrontation, preferring to use words to solve issues. She’s never seen the point in violence and bloodshed, always trying to dispel hostility. But as it says, she tries. Pinestream oftentimes will eventually turn to violence, after all, nobody is perfect.
Strengths: Pinestream is great at manipulating cats with her words, something she will use to turn cats away from battle. She knows how not only to get what she personally wants, but also how to get what is best for her clan as a whole. Pinestream's other strength is the way she interacts with kits and the younger generations, she knows how to make them feel right at home and can often be found learning about all the drama among the apprentices.
Weaknesses: Pinestream’s temper sometimes can get the best of her. Even if she knows attacking another cat isn’t the way to solve a problem, her anger sometimes makes her lose focus and control, leading her to make a horrible mistake.
Goals: Pinestream doesn’t quite know what she wants just yet. She’s always loved the idea of being mother, finding a mate… But recently she’s been drawn towards becoming the deputy, and possibly the leader.
Description

Eyes: Light Bluish Green
Pelt: Thick. Dark Brown.
Distinctive Markings: White Chest
History
Kitted: Pinekit was the only kit in her litter, born in early leaf-bare. Her mother, Darkwillow, kept the identity of her father a secret, which has never really bothered Pinekit. Pinekit was a troublesome kit, she liked to have fun. From very early on she had a maternal instinct always keeping an eye on all the other kits.
Apprenticed: Pinepaw was apprenticed to Rowanheart, a warrior she had admired from the nursery for moons. He seemed so strong, and sure of what he was doing. Pinepaw wanted to be just like him. Pinepaw pushed herself as hard she could, wanting to be the best she could be in everything. However, she very quickly found that words were a better way of solving problems than battle moves. Something she observed along the borders and at Gatherings. Pinepaw was a little annoyed when only two moons into her training.
Young Life: Pinepaw became Pinestream, her white chest puffed out with pride. She hasn’t been a warrior for too long, but already feels like she’s a senior warrior. Pinestream just received her first apprentice, Hawkpaw, and she's very nervous but equally excited by this.

Thistlefrost refuses to train another apprentice, as she blames herself for what happened to Snowpaw.
::Personality::
{General}
Despite the hardships Thistlefrost has had to endure, the she-cat has always been able to keep a bright and positive attitude. She is energetic and sweet, always able to brighten some cat's day. She loves large crowds, yet hates being the center of attention. For her, everything is about everyone else, not her. She is loving and kind, and the best friend any cat could ever want. She's able to just sit in listen or make you laugh when you need it. She has always said that even the worst parts of your life shouldn't hold you back from being the best you can be, and she has proven this over and over herself.
Thistlefrost has a very motherly attitude, and loves to play with the kits of the Clan. Many will call her "mum" even when they have their own mother. Half of them run to her first when something goes wrong, then to their birth parents, simply because she always seems to know what to say. She can sit in camp all day, just telling stories to the kits, which has always made cats say that she is more of a queen or an elder than a warrior, but she doesn't care. Being around the younger and newer generations of the Clan has always made her happy. She is gentle and caring, and will never turn away a kit in need, despite its Clan, or even if it has a Clan.
Every so often, Thistlefrost will need some alone time to think over what has happened in her life. She will often slip into depths of depression, and that is when she needs her friends the most. She declares that she just wants to be alone, and will usually slip away into the woods to think. But the best way to pull her out of these dark times is to simply take her for a walk and let her talk to you. Visions of her kits, her littermates, her old friends, will wash over her and she simply can't take it. But with her new friends and family, she can at least push it away for a while.
{Strengths} She is a very skilled warrior, due to her moons and moons of training and practice. She is especially strong in battle, and knows many moves that other cats don't, as she is older than most. However, she is young enough to keep herself up and energetic and ready for everything. She is also very intelligent, especially in thinking of new ways to attack or defend. Another strength of her's would be her ability to stay strong, most of the time. She is positive and willful, able to put a smile on her face when she needs to and to cheer up others when they need it.
{Weaknesses} Thistlefrost's biggest weakness is her past. She has lost so much more than most cats could even comprehend. Little slips of depression will often take over her, and it is hard to pull her out. Her other weakness would be kits, as she loves all and more than anything. She has a harder time when kits die than any other cats, and will risk anything to keep young cats alive.
{Fears} She is scared of her past coming to haunt her, along with any kits in danger that she is unable to protect.
{Quirks} Playing with the kits of the Clan, going for walks alone during the night.
{Goals} To continue to be the best she can be and serve her Clan well, along with no longer letting her past come to put her into depression.

::History::
{Kitted}
Thistlekit was born to Dapplednose and Tigerstripe, two very respected warriors in ShadowClan. Alongside her were Mousekit and Falconkit, her sister and brother, respectively. She doesn't quite remember her mother, as Dapplednose grew very sick with greencough and went to hunt with StarClan when the kits were only three moons. From thereon out, Tigerstripe took as best care of his kits as he could. All three of the kits developed a close relationship with each other and their father.
Kithood was Thistlekit's favorite time of her life. She played with everyone; her littermates, the other kits, her father. Though she made best friends with a tom kit named Kestrelkit. When Thistlekit wasn't with her littermates, she was with Kestrelkit. It was obvious the two would be great friends.
{Apprenticed}
Thistlepaw was named an apprentice with her littermates just two moons after Kestrelpaw and his sister Bluepaw. She excelled quickly in her training, surpassing Mousepaw and Falconpaw within a moon. Her mentor, Coldbreeze, moved her to train with Kestrelpaw and Bluepaw instead of her littermates. Falconpaw didn't mind, working hard with his own mentor to be the best he could be, which was all he could ask for. Mousepaw, on the other paw, quickly became jealous of her sister. It seemed that Thistlepaw was getting everything; the deputy as her mentor, training with older apprentices, a tom-cat best friend. Thistlepaw was too busy to notice, but Mousepaw just kept getting worse and worse.
One day, Mousepaw lashed out at Thistlepaw. Confused, she asked her sister to take a walk with her, and the two disappeared into the woods. It was hard to resist Thistlepaw's kind words and motherly attitude, and Mousepaw spilled everything. Thistlepaw apologized for everything, offering to help Mousepaw in her training and teach her the new things she learned. The sisters reconciled, just as Thistlepaw realized how close the two were to twolegplace. Thistlepaw suggested the two should return to camp, when a twoleg stopped its monster beside the two. They ran, but Mousepaw was much slower than Thistlepaw. Her sister was grabbed by the twoleg, and Thistlepaw, being the heroic she-cat she was, leapt for the twoleg. Crying out in surprise, the twoleg dropped Mousepaw. The she-cat ran wildly away--the wrong way. Thistlepaw can still remember her own screams as Mousepaw dashed onto the thunderpath and was plowed over by an oncoming monster, instantly dead. Thistlepaw wanted to bring her sister's body back to camp, but twolegs were overwhelming the area, and all she could do was run.
Back in camp, Thistlepaw told her brother, Kestrelpaw, and Bluepaw what had happened. A moon later the apprentices were made warriors, and Thistlepaw asked the leader to name Mousepaw as well, even though the young she was in StarClan. Thistlefrost was given her name for the harsh leaf-bare she was born into, Falconfire for the energy and strength he possed, and Mouseflight for the courage and will-power the dead she-cat had.
{Young Life}
About three moons after her warrior ceremony, Thistlefrost found out she was pregnant with Kestrelfang's kits. The tom couldn't be more happy to be a father, and Falconfire, any happier to be an uncle. Kits were always the one thing Thistlefrost had ever wanted. And now she would have them.
It was a beautiful day when Thistlefrost's brother died. And only another moon after Thistlefrost found out she was expecting. She, Falconfire, and Bluestep were on patrol around the lake, when Bluestep stepped on a muddy area, losing her footing and falling into the deep water. Falconfire leaped after her immediately. Thistlefrost tried to go after her brother, but her paws were caught in mud. By the time they were free, Falconfire and Bluestep's bodies were washing up on the shore, dead. She pulled them both away from the water and lay there, beside her brother, wailing. She stayed there all night, grieving for her brother, and wasn't found by her Clanmates until sun-high the next day. Kestrelfang had searched furiously for his mate, and, when he found her next to Falconfire and his own sister, sat to grieve with her. He waved the others away, bringing them all back to camp that night.
Thistlefrost fell into depression at that time, hardly able to eat, forget patrolling or hunting. She was moved to the nursery so as to be exempt from these duties much earlier than she should have, but she didn't care. Kestrelfang visited her every day, helping her to swallow some fresh-kill and promising her that once the kits were born, she'd feel better.
She can still remember the words her father spoke to her when she was seven moons pregnant. "Thistlefrost. Listen to me. I am your father, and I cannot bear to see you like this. I too grieve for Mouseflight and Falconfire, but you cannot let yourself act like this anymore. You have kits on the way, and I'll be a crazy fox if I let you ignore them and they grow up without a mother like you and your littermates did." She took those words to heart and began to straighten herself out. She was mostly back to normal when her kits were born two moons later.
There were five kits born to the young queen. Kestrelfang had hovered outside the nursery all night as they were born--three healthy toms and two gorgeous she-kits. The two named them together: Squirrelkit and Hazelkit for the she's, Copperkit, Stormkit, and Falconkit for the toms. Only a moon after their birth, she lost her first kit to white-cough, Squirrelkit. Thistlefrost caught it herself, having to abandon her kits for about a week until she got better. She vowed to never leave them again when she was better, keeping her kits close to her all the time. She hardly let them play with other kits. They didn't mind much, as Thistlefrost played with them all day and sometimes night.
A few moons later, Tigerstripe moved to the elders den, and Thistlefrost took her kits to visit him almost every day. She wanted them to see her father as great as she saw him. It was a cold morning when she awoke to take them again, only to find that Hazelkit wouldn't wake. She shrieked and cried for the medicine cat, finding that her only daughter left had frozen to death overnight. She mourned her daughter, but it only made her more protective over her sons.

{Young Life}
About three moons after her warrior ceremony, Thistlefrost found out she was pregnant with Kestrelfang's kits.
Continued below...
Thistlefrost of ShadowClan, continued.
She can remember the day they were made apprentices clearly. She was so proud as Stormpaw, Copperpaw, and Falconpaw were given their mentors. Later that day, she took her elder father for a walk in the territory, only to find that a fire had broken out in the woods near green-leaf twolegplace--And Copperpaw and his new mentor were caught inside. Thistlefrost and Tigerstripe leapt to rescue the cats, only to find the mentor already dead. Tigerstripe found Copperpaw first, meeting Thistlefrost away from the fire. She took her son from him, only to see her father collapse. His old lungs couldn't take the smoke they'd inhaled, and the tom was dead within moments. She set Copperpaw down to run, taking her father's body with her. She told herself she'd grieve only for the night, as her kits and Clan needed her. That was what her father wanted.
Copperpaw, however, caught green-cough due to his damaged lungs. He passed onto StarClan quickly, and Thistlefrost was left only with her mate and two kits left. Four moons into the kits' trainings, a border skirmish broke out between ShadowClan and RiverClan. Stormpaw fell and hit his head on a rock, killed instantly during the battle. And Thistlefrost became even more protective of Falconpaw, her only surviving kin.
She and him were in the woods together, when mud slipped out from under the apprentice, pulling into the dark water of the lake. Visions of Falconfire's death flashed before Thistlefrost's eyes as she found herself yet again stuck in mud. She screamed and screamed, only to have Falconpaw wash up at her paws, drowned and dead. Yet, as she looked down, she realized her paws were never caught. She'd been able to save her son the entire time, but was too busy with her past that she let him die. She blamed herself, carrying her son back to camp and staying close to Kestrelfang, afraid to lose him too.
And she did eventually. He was killed in a skirmish with rogues just after Thistlefrost found out she was expecting another litter of kits. She took the death of her mate hard, but promised him she would keep her second litter alive to keep the memory of him with the Clan. Only one kit was born in the litter, a healthy tom she called Hawkkit. He looked just like her, but had the amber eyes of her mate. She can look into those eyes and still see Kestrelfang, but she doesn't let herself dwell on him. She misses him, of course, but knows she must keep pushing forward, if not for her Clan, then for her son.
{The Golden Years}
Thistlefrost was considered to be a senior warrior much earlier than most. She is still young, and could easily have more litters of kits before retiring to the elders den if she found a cat she loved as much as she did Kestrelfang. However, because of all she's been through, which is more than many elders in the Clan, she has received status as a Senior Warrior and is respected and high regarded throughout the Clan. She spends her days now caring for her last family member, her son. She doesn't mentor anymore, for the young cats of the Clan tend to bring her too much sadness, but she will spend some time with the kits in the nursery. She loves to play with them, and they love to play with her.
She left Hawkkit in the nursery at five moons, eager to return to her duties. She still slept with him at night and cared for him, but she wanted to get back in the game. She got an apprentice, Snowpaw, and began to work with the young she every day. However, when there was yet another skirmish with loners in the territory, Snowpaw was too tired to fight well enough. She was struck down as Thistlefrost fought the rest off. Thistlefrost blames herself for Snowpaw's death, saying how she shouldn't have trained her so hard. But there was nothing she could have done for the young apprentice.

NAME: Hawkkit»Hawkpaw»Hawksong
AGE: 7 moons
GENDER: Tom-cat
CLAN&RANK; ShadowClan apprentice.
MENTOR: Pinestream
FATHER:Kestrelfang, ShadowClan warrior, deceased.
MOTHER: Thistlefrost, ShadowClan warrior [Arieya].
SIBLINGS:
Squirrelkit, killed by white-cough.
Hazelkit, frozen to death.
Copperpaw, weakened by fire, killed by green-cough.
Stormpaw, killed in a border skirmish.
Falconpaw, drowned in the lake.
LITTERMATES: None.
CRUSH: Briarpaw.
APPEARANCE: A brown tabby cat, Hawkpaw takes most of his appearance from his mother, Thistlefrost, with fairly similar dark stripes across his back, tail and legs. With a white muzzle and gentle white paws, he could, as a warrior, pass physically for his mother in the distance, if it was not for his amber eyes, mirroring those of his young father.
PERSONALITY: Hawkpaw is quite a loner, preferring the company of his mother over other cats, because he is scared of losing her, as she has lost all of her family. While he played with other kits in the nursery, he has grown to realise that he only ever did so to make his mother happy. He cares deeply for his mother, and frequently reassures her that he will protect her through the moons, until she becomes an elder and can tell his kits tales of great ShadowClan warriors like herself.
When it comes to other kits, he has a tendency to over-worry, particularly with rough-housing. He often mishears playful cries for help as true cries for help, and is usually the first there to try and help or pull a warrior over in case of danger. This has torn him away from his fellow kits his age because of how seriously he takes everything.
STRENGTHS: Empathy; Alert to danger; Determination.
WEAKNESSES: Overprotectiveness; Seriousness; His mother.
GOALS: To protect his mother until she becomes an elder and can peacefully pass to StarClan.
FEARS: Losing his mother too soon, or not being able to protect her in a fight, ambush or general attack.
HISTORY: Thistlefrost discovered that she was expecting Hawkkit shortly before Kestrelfang was killed in an attack by rogues. Hawkkit was born without a father, and only his mother to care for him, but he heard tales of his family in StarClan frequently, and looked up to them for heir bravery and tragic ends. He understands that all cats need to pass to StarClan eventually, and does not resent StarClan for their fates, but wishes something could have been done so that he could have at least met his brothers, sisters, grandparents and, most especially, his father.
As a kit, Hawkkit often refused to play with the other litters, but gave in if he felt that it would make his mother happy to see him playing with other kits. Close in age to Fallenberry's kits, he tried to get along with them, but found Spiderkit and Sootkit too boisterous and rough, while Pricklekit and Thornkit were too close. Resigning himself, he took to listening to the elders talk about his family and great ShadowClan cats, of legends so old he could scarcely believe them.
From what he learned from the elders, Hawkkit began to grow an image of 'the perfect ShadowClan warrior'. A cat with many strengths, who could exploit his weaknesses, who was unstoppable and knew when to stop. He knows that he is not the perfect ShadowClan warrior, but he wants to find one, or train one, or at least help one. If he could discover what would help 'create' a perfect ShadowClan warrior, he hopes to build on it and help ShadowClan be truly the best Clan, with the best warriors.
Eventually, it was time to become an apprentice. He was apprehensive, having not built up many strong bonds with his Clanmates, but excited as well. He wanted to learn how to protect himself and Thistlefrost, fight off enemies, protect his Clan, and hunt for the Clan. He was called on by Rainstar that day, and named Hawkpaw, apprenticed to one of ShadowClan's finest warriors.

OTHER KIN:(view spoiler)
APPEARANCE: Darkwillow has always been slightly confused for her brother, Browntooth, because of their matching appearances besides their eyes. , or at least from a distance. While he stands high, she is relatively small, due to their father's size. Her dark brown fur has always been her advantage in the undergrowth of the woods, but this is slightly hindered by her saturated green eyes which gleam in the dark, much to her annoyance. If cats could have black or brown eyes, she would wish for them. A large group of scars run across her hind legs, where a badger snatched at her.
PERSONALITY: She was always taught to share achievements, to congratulate others, and to never claim to be better at anything than others, which has made her a very humble, pleasant cat to be around. No matter the achievement, she will usually tell a cat "well done" or "that was good!", in hopes of perking them up and letting them know that they were doing just fine. It makes her an excellent mentor, as she is very gentle when it comes to failure, and would make a perfect mother. Open-minded, she understands that love is, at times, the warrior code's greatest enemy, and would never judge a cat for falling in love, though she would encourage a cat to understand that StarClan forbids certain types of love for a reason.
STRENGTHS: Never gives up; To the surprise of many, she is an excellent swimmer, as Eagleleap once helped her learn the basics, and when alone she likes to take a dip in a stream, hoping that it will one day help her or others; Stealthy.
WEAKNESSES: She is too hopeful that others are full of love and friendliness, and can be easily manipulated; Slightly forgetful.
GOALS: To have her own kits; To mentor one of her brother's kits; To help her parents pass to StarClan without trouble.
FEARS: Badgers, particularly the one that attacked her; Not being able to have kits.
HISTORY:
Born into a litter of five, Heavybranch was insistent on teaching her kits to be kind and selfless, and discouraged them from competing with their litter, as they were kin and should love one another. Runningbreeze felt much the same, but he pushed them to compete with Echokit and Deadkit, two kits born just sunrises before them. Darkkit was less enthused about competing with the other kits, and was mostly left to herself, harbouring a fascination for hunting and stealth.
Darkpaw was apprenticed to a keen warrior, who took advantage of her dark fur and helped her to hone her ability to camouflage with the undergrowth, even at day. With her littermates, they taught themselves to work as a team, by circling their enemy and pouncing and scratching at them. This teamwork made them a forbidable force to be reckoned with.
Named for her swiftness, she became a warrior at the same time as Brackensong, and instantly began to fill her sunrises with border patrols, finding that she was adept at hiding when there were disputes, which gave ShadowClan the advantage as the other Clans would sometimes not realise that they had an extra cat. From the beginning of her rank as a warrior, she wanted to mentor an apprentice, but was not picked for several moons, much to her dismay.

General: Shadechaser is practical. He doesn't see much practicality in playing or running after she-cats, and instead focuses his time honing his warrior skills, wanting to have the strength of his father and the speed of his mother, Starclan bless them. However, sometimes he'll be a little jealous of other cats, who spend time so frivolously, who have crushes and play games. Shadechaser ignores it mostly, and is rather quiet. When he isn't quiet, he has a sharp tongue like his mother, and often comes off as grumpy but is actually indifferent. Shadechaser is competitive and loyal towards his clan, but also wants to prove he's the best. Shadechaser has low self-esteem, which he tries not to show. He never feels good enough, and always strives to be better. He's also bisexual, though it really doesn't matter to him. He can't think about a mate or crushes or future kits, he's much too busy being the best. While his training is important to him, in everything else Shadechaser is rather lazy. He doesn't see the point in putting his time and energy into things he doesn't care about. He's not emotional, and sometimes one might assume he has no emotion at all. He's blunt and shrugs things off, acting like he cars about nothing, though he does deep down. He is gifted at compartmentalizing. He can completely cut off his emotions and focus on logic, pushing away one thing and working on another. Not many cats, or people, can do that.
Strengths: Compartmentalizing, being fast, being strategic.
Weaknesses: His sharp tongue and blunt honesty, his disdain for others, his tendency to push others away.
::History::
Shadechaser was born and raised in Shadowclan. He was always a bit of a loner, inheriting his mother's sharp personality. Others tended to stay away from him because of his bad temper and tendency to insult them. He didn't play like other kits, instead he'd glare at them and disappear into his own special hiding places in camp, where no one could bother him. But when he was an apprentice, things got better. He liked his training, liked his mentor. He worked hard, and while his personality didn't change much, he became more tolerable. He had one or two cats who were sort of his friends, though he stuck to his siblings mostly. In his short life, he's had his share of heartbreak. He fell in love with a warrior when he was an apprentice who was taken and had kits. Then when he was a warrior and her kits were apprentices, he gained a crush on one of them. He never did end up with anyone, though, after the warrior he originally loved died. He didn't care too much for love, anyway, and his love life was cursed from the start. His parents had their share of problems, both long dead now. But he's lived on with what siblings he has left. He never took a mate, not yet anyway, and has pretty much kept to himself. He's dedicated to his clan and respects it but he'd never show it.

PERSONALITY
GENERAL: Patchheart is a relatively quiet cat. He has a bleak outlook on life, and knows it. In fact, he likes it that way, feeling that it will make StarClan forgive him, perhaps, for whatever he has done, and help his three kits and mate survive past apprenticehood. He feels that once a warrior has reached around eighty moons, they're useless- blind, deaf, and toothless for all he cares, though he does respect the elders. Patchheart is angry, snappy, and crabby, but it's only because he cares. He is especially overprotective around apprentices, because his brother, two of his kits and one of his apprentices died as one. He would destroy the forest to protect what's left of his family. He can be conceited sometimes, but is humble other times. Patchheart would like to think that everyone looks up to him, but they really don't, although no one really disrespects him. He is very loyal to his Clan, as they are the only family he has left. Patchheart is always melancholy, and often sits alone at night in silence, just thinking about how awful life is. He's never had an apprentice- he thinks that if he tried to mentor them they'd just die. Patchheart loves kits, and would kill himself to protect one. Perhaps this is because he's had so many, or because he and his brother were abandoned as kits. No one, including Patchheart, knows why, and it is one of his biggest weaknesses.
HISTORY
Kithood: One day a loner named Dapple gave birth to two kits, who she named Black and Patch. She knew she wouldn't live much longer, and gave her kits to her Clan mate, Nightpelt, who named then Blackkit and Patchkit. This was all before the kits openeed their eyes. When Nightpelt died of greencough, a she-cat who had just raised her own kits offered to raise the brothers, with the help of her mate Ripplefur. The pair never tried to hide the kits' true parents or lie to them, and Patchkit grew to love his "parents." When he was five moons old, however, Ripplefur was killed by a ThunderClan cat, and Longstripe starved herself to death afterwards, not living even long enough to see the two's apprentice ceremony.
Apprenticehood: Blackpaw and Patchpaw coped with their family's death in different ways. Patchpaw retreated into a world of sadness and melancholy, while Blackpaw became angry. Patchpaw went along with all that his mentor said, not really thinking about it, while Blackpaw talked back to the leader, ignored his mentor and snuck out of camp at night. It was during one of these nights that he died. He was running across the forest, trying to get away from camp, when he made a boulder above loose. Frozen with fear, the huge stone crushed him, and in the morning Patchpaw had dawn patrol and saw his fallen body. Yowling in fear, the rest of the patrol came to help him, and they buried his body. Patchpaw sat vigil for the whole night, thinking about how StarClan must hate him because of something he'd done. Little did he know that his bereavement was just beginning...
One day, a fellow apprentice told him that she'd seen a cat in the forest, dead, that looked just like him. Patchpaw looked up and raced through the forest until he found Dapple. Dead. Cold. Alone. Patchpaw wept bitterly and sat with her until sunset that day.
Young Life: Patchheart took Blizzardstorm, the pretty apprentice who'd found his mother's body, as a mate. He loved her, and for many moons they were happy. Then Patchheart found out that his mate was expecting kits. He was overjoyed- the first new life he'd experienced since he was born! He waited and waited for the kits to come, but when they did, he wasn't told, as he was hunting alone and no one knew where he was. When he came back, the whole Clan was looking at him sadly. He padded into the nursery to see three kits and his mate... but one kit wasn't moving. She was asleep forever. He sadly watched his two living kits grow up, and he and Blizzardstorm were relieved when they made it to apprenticehood. But then things went wrong. Juniperpaw was attacked by a fox, and was killed in the battle. That same night, as her body lay in the clearing, the fox returned for its kill. Lightpaw, who had always been reckless yet brave, rushed at the fox to protect his dead sister's body, though he, too, died. The rest of the camp helped to drive away the fox, but Patchheart couldn't fight it- he was too busy looking at his fallen children in horror. He and Blizzardstorm got into an awful fight the following morning, and for nearly a moon they didn't speak to one another. Then, at a Gathering, the leader told the Clans of the apprentices' deaths. The truth sank into Patchheart for the first time, and he and Blizzardstorm made up. Then she learned that she was pregnant with another litter.
The Golden Years: Once this litter was born, two kits died of a terrible sickness, and Blizzardstorm died bringing the last one, a tom, to life. Patchheart was stricken with grief, and left his only kit to grow up alone. His son snuck out of camp at five moons in a desperate attempt to prove himself, and tried to swim in the lake, frustrated by his father. He ended up drowning, and Patchheart found his kit dead on the shore. He came back and didn't eat for a day, blaming himself for all his family's death. Pretty Birdstrike became his mate- quiet and softspoken as opposed to Blizzardstorm's fire (imagine if Squirrelfight died and Brambleclaw became Leafpool's mate, but they weren't sisters). They soon had kits, and Patchheart is almost certain that they won't survive, and expects Birdstrike to die as well, then all of his friends. He's sure that everyone around him will pass before he does, and that he will be the last cat left in the Clans before he dies.

He is descended from Tawnypelt, and from that Tigerstar, which is perhaps why StarClan has taken so many of his kin.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Name
Larkstorm
Gender
She-cat
Age
36 moons (three years)
Personality
Larkstorm is clever, smart, and loyal, but she can be somewhat cautious. She is friendly with all her clanmates and cats from other clans, since she doesn't feel that borders should hold any cat back, but if her loved ones are in danger she is always ready to fight to the death. Family is everything to her, and that includes all her clanmates and fellow cats, even. She has little contempt for cats without clans, mostly because her brother is a kittypet. Even though she may seem sweet, she is easy to anger and naturally suspicious around Twolegplace rogues, as they often cause trouble.
Deep down, Larkstorm hopes for someone she can be close to. Without parents or any siblings in the clans, she has nobody she can connect with or truly feel welcome around. Her name represents her desire to be free but also her internal conflict of where her loyalties truly lie, and loyalty not in the simple sense of which clan she belongs to. Something more.
Appearance

Larkstorm is a pretty tortoiseshell with a sleek and slender frame, but she is far from delicate. Her claws are sharp and her muscles ripple just below her pelt. Her tail is tipped black, as is one side of her face. Her eyes are a light amber color that at times can seem piercing or soft. She has a notch in her ear from a training bout that got a little too rough.
Background
Larkstorm was born to a clan cat and rogue, both of which are deceased. She was raised in ShadowClan father- and siblingless, her mother keeping her father secret from everyone. Her clanmates assumed Ferntail had run off with a warrior from another clan and avoided the young cat and her mother. Ferntail died of greencough when Larkstorm was just a ‘paw. To her surprise, Larkstorm realized she felt little grief, as her mother hadn't been very loving. Yet Larkstorm continued to devote herself to her clan and secretly to her beliefs.
As an apprentice, her life was kind of normal. Her mentor, the late Cedarfall, never really showed much interest in her. She never blamed him, as he had kits of her own, but she was always sad to see him and his kits playing together, perfectly happy, while his mate looked on. Larkstorm longed for that kind of family, but she knew it would never happen. Without a family or any real friends, Larkstorm devoted herself to hunting and patrolling as much as she could to prove that her background did not define her loyalty. She often prevented skirmishes between clans that were needless, since her desire for peace stood before the desire for victory. Despite what Larkstorm thought, her efforts went noticed and she was rewarded with an apprentice of her own- Eaglepaw. She treated him like her own son and trained him to the best of her ability in all techniques, not just hunting and fighting. She was proud when she realized he had the same sense of peace she had and sometimes they would forget all about training as they sat and discussed the clans. Larkstorm thought she had finally found a true friend, but her heart was shattered when her beloved apprentice was chasing a squirrel across the Thunderpath and was hit by a monster. Her only consolation was that the poor apprentice had died immediately and without suffering. Not letting her loss deter her from being a great warrior, Larkstorm continued to serve her clan to the fullest extent.
Siblings
A kittypet brother named Sparrow she never mentions.
Mate/Crush
Secretly admires Tornshadow even though he is evil.
Kits
None but wishes she had some. Larkstorm is good with them.

Personality
General: Aspenkit is a bit of a pushover, constantly doing whatever those around him tell him to in hopes that they’ll like him. He’s a very cautious kit, and doesn’t break the rules unless maybe Tigerkit tells him to. Aspenkit is always trying to prove himself, pushing himself to the limits to make Snakeheart proud. Overall, he’s a kind enough tom yet gets extremely angry whenever he thinks of how he’s going to be unable to have kits. So anytime he sees two cats in love, or two cats preparing to have kits, he is filled with a horrible sense of jealousy.
Fears: Aspenkit is afraid that he won’t be able to find a she-cat to settle down with because they’ll want to be with a tom who can father their kits. Other than that, he’s afraid of disappointing his mother and being the weakest of his littermates.

-- History --
- Kitted -
I open my eyes. The sun filters through the branches as I roll around and see my mother. I lay down in the crook of her paw and immediately get squished by my siblings, Clearkit and Mistkit. "Hey!" I grumble and push them off goodnaturedly. "You're finally awake! Let's play!" Clearkit nudges me excitedly. I roll over onto my back and stretch. Mistkit pokes my belly and I roll over and get up. "No need to rush." I say, but my curiosity and excitement override all calmness. "Last one out has to help Snowfeather clean the moss!"
Shiningkit was always the one to poke her nose into everyone's business 24/7. Despite this, she was loved and appreciated by all of her clanmates. She worked hard and watched the apprentices to learn their moves, and hopes to one day become leader. Shiningkit was always disappearing and sneaking out from under her mother's watch, and is still very hyper active.
- Apprentice Ceremony -
I sit beside Clearkit, my head held high. As oldest, I go first, and my tail flicks back and forth with nervousness or excitement, I can't tell. Anyway, our leader jumps down and addresses the whole clan. "Today we are making three kits apprentices." He looks down at me, and I wriggle with excitement. "Shiningkit, come forward." I step forward and almost slip, but he catches me as I fall. Embarrassed, get to my feet and stand before him. "Shiningkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shiningpaw. Your mentor will be ___. I hope ____ will pass down all he knows on to you." He licks my head, and I lick his shoulder. I step back, my paws brimming with excitement. He does this for both Clearkit and Fogkit. Clearkit gets Maplebranch, while Mistkit is appointed Berrycloud. I nuzzle both of them when the ceremony is finished. "We're apprentices!" Fogkit squeals excitedly. ____ walks over to me and he smiles warmly. "You seem very excited. Would you rather we explore the territory or hunt?" He asks. I knew my answer right away. "Explore the territory!" He laughs and I follow him out of the camp, ready for my first day.
- Apprenticed -
My father and mother have always looked out from me. They push me to become the best that I can be and challenge me to my limits. ___ does the same. He is the best mentor I could ask for. He's so nice about everything, and teaches me what went wrong. I could never ask for a better mentor.
Shiningpaw is always doing something and hates sitting still. She loves bouncing off the walls, and since she's matured, she has learned to keep to herself. She doesn't stick her nose into their cats business unless she thinks something is bothering them, and always tries to look out for others.
