2017 Reading Challenge discussion

This book was published in 2006 when John Green was 29. It's his second book. I had high hopes for this book because I really enjoyed all of John Green's other books but this one was a bit disappointing. I wanted to like the story more but I just felt like it was a bit aimless. Much as Colin had lost track in his life, I felt like the plot lost track as well. I did like the three main characters. I thought they were well-developed and had distinctive personalities despite the fact that they all came to almost the same epiphany at the same time. It was an easy and quick read but I definitely prefer Looking for Alaska or The Fault in our Stars better.
