^-^ cool! Everyone working together to set rules is awesome! Here's some ideas for rules you might want to include1) Communication: We all want the group to be fun and successful, right? So we should all communicate with one another! That way all the mods, and all the members are on the same page, and any issues can be taken care of before it becomes a bigger problem
2) Cooperation: We need everyone to cooperate to make this super awesome! That means all the mods cooperate in all aspects of the group and don't fight or tell someone not to do something they are supposed to be doing! It also means the members need to cooperate with the mods. While sure if a mod says to change something it can occasionally invoke a disagreement, if we communicate, it can very easily and calmly be resolved
3) No bullying! A big rule I think. This includes name calling, patronization in any form, deleting each others posts if you don't like what the other person says, or bad mouthing in any topics. We should deal with problems directly, not make them worse by being mean to one another. So do unto others as you would have them do unto you!
4) Take it to PM! I think this would be another good one. If there is an issue between two members, they should take their problem and resolve it in a private message. When its done over a group, it causes problems, starts fights and more as everyone takes sides and tries to defend their friends and we don't want that! The same rule can be said for anything that would be rated M for mature content, that needs to go to PM as well!
OH! I thought of some more!5) Treat this group right! Its labeled as Advanced, we need to treat it as an advanced group! That means fun detailed characters with lots of personality and backstory! No Mary-sues! No Gary-sues! No overpowered characters! Make them broken, make them happy, make them hate the capitol! Fit a stereotype, break a stereotype! Make them come to life both in the RP and on their profile! Let us get a real feel for your character! The Hunger Games is some time off after all, so tinker and edit and revise and make your characters awesome in their own way!!
5) Roleplaying! Of course this should go unsaid, but for a rolepaly in an advanced group we should get good posts! Good grammar and spelling should be a must, though of course everyone does a typo now and then~ We should have good sized roleplaying posts too! (Most advanced groups have you write anywhere from 1-6 paragraphs but I think here at least to start the rule should be a decent paragraph? Say 5-6 sentences like you would for an essay at school?)
6) Don't ignore things! This rule can cover the entire group! From ignoring someone's request to have someone roleplay with them, to a character someone posts to wait for approval, even a roleplay post. But this also means to not ignore issues. If there is a problem in the group, we should work together to talk it out, not pretend it doesn't exist, as that only leaves room for dissent, anger and more to fester and grow until it explodes outwards a second time in a way that could end up hurting a lot of people. Its like my teachers always told me 'Never ignore a live grenade, it will become an explosion.' Which essentially means, never ignore a problem, or it could cause a huge argument that hurts people, including your friends.
Make it to where MODs are not exempt from rules as well, and can't be just 'going off' on members, they're supposed to set the bar on how to behave, hello
1) Mutual Respect! Everyone should respect each other! Mods should respect other mods as well as members, and members should respect the mods! No, respect isn't consenting so someone else's opinion simply because they said so, respect would be when you talk to each other in a polite manner, and when you have a disagreement, you handle it calmy while keeping the other person in mind.
2) Follow Standards! Set a bar and follow it! Don't go below it for anyone, mods included! And, considering this is an advanced group, make the bar high! Posts should be at least a good sized paragraph, 5 lines minimum! And for characters, they should have a good deal of information as well! Personality should be at least a small paragraph! And History should be a decent sized paragarh as well!
3) Disagreements should be handled maturely! If you handle any disagreements calmy and respectfully, they'll never have to grow into arguements!
@Fiend, you where just doing your job, so that teensy piece you let go down, make it go up again! You where doing a great job!

Everybody set down what rules you want this group to have then the mods will arrange that in a Rule thread where you all have to sign your name promising to follow those rules or risk being kicked out(Everybody which includes mods must follow). After that no more arguing, everything will be in the past.
Nobody comment on someone else rules, okay. We shall vote.
