Amari walked in to the cafeteria and sat down at table in the far left, not wanting to be bothered. She huffed and looked at the food on her plate with disgust.

(( I am so sorry. I have to go now :'( ))

Nicole walks in keeping an eye on the floor. She walks and grabs a pear and walks to the far left corner too. When she sits down she looks up and sees someone across her, "Oh...sorry I didn't see you there. Hi."

((hahaha yay))

Amari jumped a bit then looked at the person across from her, "That was sort of the point in me hiding, but oh well. Hello" She said leaning against the wall for support and slouching a bit.

"Sorry. I'm Nicole," she forces a smile which looks as if she truly is happy when she isn't at all, "And who are you?"

She mimicked the girl in front of her smile, "Amari. Nice to meet you." She said happily.

Emma walks in to the cafeteria looks around and sees two girls sitting at the far left. She walks over. "Hey can i sit with y'all?" She asks shyly.

Amari shrugged, "Don't see why not. At least you asked." She said giving the other girl a sideways glare.

"It's nice to meet you Amari," Nicole nods her head to Emma, "Yes, please join us Emma."

Nicole bites her lip nothing the glare, "I did apologize. I honestly didn't see you until I sat down."

"Uh-huh" Amari said, not looking up from her plate. Why not the whole school join her table at this point.

"Wow... I'm guessing y'all just met?" Emma said sitting down.

"I just wasn't expecting anyone to join me at lunch, sorry." She said smiling a bit at Nicole. She looked at Emma, "Welcome."

((We should probably find an order))

She just nods her head silently taking a bite of her pear. If it wasn't for the small smile she would have left claiming to have some homework to do or studying for a test. It was the excuse she always used to get out of talking.

(( I don't mind the order, you guys can choose ))

((Yeah probably)) "Thanks. I'm Emma by the way." She said sitting down next to Amari.

((Um...can you all decide?))

Amari leans back against the wall, "What house are you two?" She asked them both.

((Okay how about Mickyla, Lolipop then me?))

"Heart" Emma said taking a sip of her Sprite.

((Okay! :))

"Melody," Nicole takes another bite of her pear.

(( Sounds great! ))

Amari nodded slowly, "Melody and Heart. Okay that's cool." She said taking her water and sipping it.

"what about you, Amari?" Emma looks at her.

Nicole nods her head in agreement, "Yes, what house?"

Amari swallows, "Star." She says waving her hands around lazily.

"Awesome" Emma said nodding slowly."it seams like y'all hate each other already." She looked at Nicole then to Amari.

"I don't hate her!" Nicole laughs, "We just got off in the wrong foot." In truth, she didn't really like Arami since she really did sit at her table accidentally. 'It's not right to assume otherwise,' she silently thought but hid this well. When it came to lying, Nicole was one of the best.

"Yeah. Sure." Amari said nodding slowly. She didn't really care if someone hated her, she could care less what other people thought of her. She just smiled then went back to poking at her food and rolled her eyes. Was she the nicest person? Not at all, but she wouldn't say anything until someone said something first, so for now she just kept quiet.

"Uh-huh" Emma said totally not believing them. And she took out her phone.

Nicole smiles at Emma and finishes eating her pear. Once she finishes she begins humming to some classical piece she has been working on lately.

Amari struggled to keep from rolling her eyes, what was it with Melodies and singing. Its like their life depended on it.

"What are you humming?" Emma said finishing a text to her brother.

"Sonata for Harp in G major, Wq.139 composed by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach," Nicole proudly says ignoring the eye roll, "I have been learning it and finished it recently."

Amari didn't really know what to say to that. She had nothing against music, just she got tired of it too fast and found she like the quiet better.

"Cool. Not my style tho. I like pop and hip-hope. Or 90s R&B." Emma picked up her sandwich and took a bite.

"I play all styles, just depending on the instrument I am on," Nicole tells her.

"Cool. Me and my brother both play guitar and i sing." Emma said replying to a text.

Amari had zoned out of the conversation. Did she listen to music? Of course she did, but no one hnad mentioned her style of music so she just stayed out of the conversation.

"Whats Your style of music Amari?" Emma said noticing that Amari was zoning out.

Amari snapped back to reality, "Oh nothing interesting." She promised then went back to thinking.

"All music tastes are interesting!" Nicole exclaims in shock.

Amari shook her head, "Nah. I just like country, it calms me, nothing to interesting."

"Really you don't play or listen to anything interesting?" Emma asked trying to get a full answer out of her.

"I used to play guitar, but I outgrew it. I still know a few songs, but other than that nope." Amari said simply.

"Cool. What kind of country do you like?"

"Um...country. Most country bands and whatnot. And most country singers."
