The tale of Robert Huntington aka Robin begins on the first day of summer break. Summertime is supposed to be the most absolutely carefree period of any teenager’s life, and for most, it’s just that. Unfortunately, it did not start that way or end that way for our young Robin. He started the summer by almost being run over by his next door neighbor and school Vice Principal but miraculously came away unscathed. And there began the curiosity for Robin, a trait his grandfather had continually warned him against exercising under any terms.
On that first day of summer everything will change for Robin. He learns from two strange armed teenagers that he’s in danger and that he must follow them, yet he has no idea what they are talking about. The only danger, Robin could see in his future was being overly stuffed from cheese puffs and his blood sugar rising to a dangerous high from soda pop. Now he was running for his life because his curiosity supposedly discovered an ancient secret that was meant to be undiscoverable. Well, that’s what they tell him. His life is forever changed. Oh, and he’s a knight.
From Hyperborean legends to golden griffins that breathe fire that freezes, this is a perilous adventure, an adventure, Robin finds that the evil outside may be nothing compared to the evil within.
"Neither by ship nor on foot would you find the marvelous road to the assembly of the Hyperboreans." -Pindar, 499 BC
