I think the biggest mistake Israelis made is assuming that the US would always support them. It only took ONE president to turn it around (and yes, I'm well aware that Reagan/Bush1 had anti-Semites among their advisors, but no one dared to be open about it.)

A lot of that was spot-on, IMO. He made some of the same points I tried to make in my first novel.

What's interesting: If he's right that Israelis are oblivious to true anti-Semitism...I would bet money it's the leftist and left-leaning Israelis. Just like in this country, leftist Jews see anti-Semitism where it isn't, but can't see it where it plainly is.

Yes. As I keep saying, Jews are smart and capable as individuals. As a group, they are suicidal. (Although by now gays are about to outstrip them in that particular tendency, but that's a separate rant.)
