Chrysandre Newspaper

Everyone has heard of Ava Devereux. She's the smart, diligent oldest Chrysandre princess, the one with the twin brother. But what are her real thoughts on the chance of becoming a queen? For the first time ever, Ava Devereux speaks her true opinions on royalty, ruling, and her siblings!

What's been happening with your family recently, Ava?
Well, we've been preparing ourselves for the monthly ball. I haven't a clue about who's invited, but there shall be some rather extravagant dresses this month, so we all have that to look forward to. My siblings and I have been tremendously busy with our studies.

You're all extremely studious?
Oh, yes, quite scholarly. We all try to be like the late Queen Lorrina of Faedler. She was such a wondrous monarch.

If you ever become a queen, which kingdom would you want to rule? Which kingdoms do you think your sisters would be best suited for?
I'm absolutely positive I shall be the perfect queen for Chrysandre. It has such rich antiquity. I can't imagine either of my sisters ruling it as well as I could. I'm not even sure where my second youngest sister could rule. She doesn't seem too fit to be queen. As for my youngest sister, she could rule either Faedler or Peridot. She's well suited for those. Just not Chrysandre.

And how do your brothers feel about never getting to be the ones in charge of the kingdoms?
It's so tense between the boys and the girls in my family. My youngest brother doesn't really care at all though, he's glad he doesn't ever have to rule. He treats the throne as though it is a most shameful thing. My second youngest brother wants to rule very badly. He often will start a fight about it, or mention it to my parents how much he's better suited than any of us girls. And my twin brother does the best to support me, but anyone could tell how much he truly desires the throne.

That's all for our interview with Princess Ava! We hope to see her again at this month's royal ball!

-Linda Avid.
