[ Full Name ] Summer Adelyn Kwon
[ Nicknames ] Summer's just fine
[ Age ] Eighteen years old
[ Date of Birth ] May seventh
[ Place of Birth ] Manhattan, NY
[ Gender ] Female
[ Sexuality ] Heterosexual
[ Relationship Status ] Single
[ Occupation ] Political Science
[ Grade ] Senior
[ Years of Attendance ] Four
[ Appearance ][ Hair Color ] Her hair is a dark brown color that falls in waves"and i'm asking myself again: am i happy right now?"[ Face Claim ] Solar (Kim Yong Sun)
[ Eye Color ] A deep brown shade that is comparable to chocolate
[ Height ] She stands at a approximately five feet and six inches
[ Weight ] Summer weighs about one hundred and eighteen lbs.
[ Distinguishing Features/Marks ] Always dressed to impress[ Personality ]Summer is a natural born perfectionist. From the way she dresses to the way she organizes the pages upon pages of notes she has racked up from every class she's taken, she knows exactly what it is that she wants to do and how to do it. She's very much a go-getter, determined to make things turn out in her favor. Competitive is a bit of an understatement when it comes to her. Even in things that she knows she has no hope of winning, Summer does her best to make sure that she comes in first. The word failure isn't in her vocabulary.
Because of this, at first, Summer can come off a bit overbearing. Not only does she dress to impress everywhere that she goes, which is intimidating on its own, but it's also apparent when you meet her that she is one stubborn girl. Granted, she's nice and everything, and even a huge goofball when you really get to know her, but she definitely does have that air of superiority about herself. The reason for it? Well, like most people that flaunt everything about themselves, not everything is rosy for this perfectionist.
In fact, Summer is not the most stable of individuals. Sure, she's not insane by any stretch of the imagination, and she does at least have a good head on her shoulders, but she's not above cheating to get what she wants. It's all because she can't deal with failure. She can't deal with people not liking her. Her reputation is everything to her, and if she doesn't have that, Summer really doesn't know who she is.[ Biggest Strength ] Summer's biggest strength is the fact that she doesn't give up. She's motivated and ambitious, ready to reach whatever goal she sets for herself. Because of this, she's incredibly dependable and is often perfect for any job. Or at least, that's what she'll tell you.
[ Biggest Fear ] Her biggest fear bounces back and forth between spiders and being humiliated on a major scale. The later is probably more of a sensible thing to be afraid of, but have you seen a spider? Why the hell they need that many legs, Summer will never understand.
[ Fatal Flaw ] Summer's fatal flaw is that she is far too perfectionistic and ambitious for her own good. Perfection is never good enough for her, and she'll push herself further just to get to the top of literally everything that she can. Because of this, failure doesn't bode well with her at all. If she truly can't achieve something, it's likely that she'll be upset for weeks over it. In fact, it's for this reason that she is always dressing up and making sure she always looks perfect. She can't have people thinking she's anything less, right?[ History ]Summer was only in middle school when she truly grew interested in politics. Growing up in a fairly mellow and quiet household (granted, a huge house that was never really that humble), there was never much talk about politics at home aside from a few throw-away comments at most. With her mother deep within the fashion world (something that Summer's very proud of, thank you very much) and her father being a well-established surgeon, it wasn't like her parents were around very much to influence her anyways. No, Summer had to figure out about the world of politics all on her own.
And, god, did she run with it. Ever since a field trip to the white house in the fourth grade, Summer has been one hundred percent hooked on the world of politics, and that passion has followed her all the way to high school. She has plans to climb that political ladder as soon as she graduates university. First, though? She plans to conquer high school. And so far? She's done pretty damn well. She just hopes that some random asshole doesn't sweep the rug out right from under her feet.[ Family ] Mark Kwon (father); Suzy Kwon (mother); Jack Kwon (brother)[ MEM ] Probably that one time in freshman year when Aunt Flow decided to come early on the day that she was wearing her favorite white skirt. Yeah, she didn't even realize until she got home from the store that evening and saw it had gone right through the material. Nowadays, Summer likes to pretend that no one noticed, but when people ask you every year if you're going as Little Red for Halloween... yeah, they noticed.

[ nicknames ] Kenna, Leo's Sister
[ gender ] Female
[ age ] Seventeen
[ occupation ] CE (Psychology and Sociology, Sales and Marketing)
[ grade ] Twelve
[ years of attendance ] Four
[ hair color ] Dark brown
[ eye color ] Brown
[ height ] 5'2"
[ body type ] Petite; far too short for her liking
[ distinctive markings ] None, really. Except she's never seen without jewelry -- rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, she loves it all. Only tasteful pieces, of course. But it's not like she doesn't have the money to buy the nicer stuff.
[ face claim ] Zoey Deutch
[ personality ] Kenna likes to consider herself Leo's better half. The first thing you should know about Kennedy Elizabeth Anderson is that she is twins with Leo Anderson. And yes, Leo is one half of LyLeo, but he's also half of the Anderson twins. And that means? No one in Kenna's life is ever going to come before Leo. They've got a twin connection (in their freshman year, Kenna actually convinced a girl that they had twin telepathy. Idiot), and it ain't going away.
The thing about Kenna? She will avoid conflict and confrontation, at virtually any cost. She thinks that it's pointless to let negative emotions interfere with what's important (getting the tasks at hand done), and besides. She kind of can't handle the idea of failing at anything. If she never does anything that can fail? She won't ever fail. The only thing that could push her into a conflict or into confronting someone or a problem is Leo or Jacob (and, if it's more extreme, Lyle). Leo, her brother; Jacob, her best friend, and Lyle, her basically-brother. She will do pretty much whatever she needs to in order to keep them happy, safe from school drama, whatever.
But, see, like said before -- Kenna can't handle failing. She hates disappointing people, and the thing is? She never has. Because she's always been her parents' favorite. Her mom trying to live vicariously through her; her daddy's little girl who always acts the perfect part at important events. She doesn't stir up any trouble. Despite her giant ego, which is roughly the size of Canada, she doesn't have a flair for the flashy in the same way Leo does. She's afraid of disappointing people, but she also doesn't think it'll ever happen because they've told her that she's too good for that.
[ greatest strength ] Kenna is fiercely loyal to those she loves, and she loves with all of herself. If you're her best friend, or her brother, or really anyone who she loves, she's not going to half-ass that relationship. It's significant to her and she will do everything she can in her power to make you happy and protect you and do her best to love you.
[ fatal flaw ] Because it's through people that she's always been told that she's enough, that she's doing well -- it's through people that she finds her value. Kenna is incapable of really finding her own value by herself. It's a strange thing, because she's constantly caught in this sort of paradox between being arrogant and being terribly insecure.
[ biggest fear ] Failure and disappointing the people she loves. Then again, they'd be disappointed because of the failure, so... failure. Since she's never failed people before, she's afraid of what would happen if she did -- she's afraid it would make people stop loving her, and that's not something that she can really handle.
[ most embarrassing memory ]Really, it's mostly secondhand embarrassment from the antics that Leo and Lyle and Jacob get themselves into... what is she even going to do with those boys?On her first day of freshman year she tripped entering the main building and fell flat on her face. Not her shining moment. And then there was the time when she got her period and bled through her skirt and couldn't find a replacement, and was stuck wearing Jacob's goddamn sweater -- that's right, Jacob's sweater, she couldn't even have the dignity of using her own because she hadn't been wearing one -- tied around her waist like some sort of tourist-meets-prep-school nightmare.
[ history ] As far as Kenna is concerned, her life has been great -- and Leo might disagree, but that's probably because Kenna's always been her parents' favorite. Her mother's dress-up doll; her father's little angel who can charm everyone at the fancy parties. And that much is true -- she's learned how to act around her parents and other adults. Because while Leo has no problem connecting with the students at Ridgeport Preparatory Academy? Kenna's comfort place is among adults.
That being said, she's always been close with Leo. Very close. Their differing relationships with their parents have caused a little tension, but honestly? Not even that could ruin their relationship. And really, Lyle might as well be her brother too, as far as Kenna's concerned. Sometimes Lyle seems more like Leo's twin that she does -- although that might be because she likes to think that she's above such stupid things (getting drunk and showing up on campus wearing a tutu? Really, Leo?). Sure, there was that phase in middle school when she crushed hardcore on Lyle -- but that's a thing of the past. And seriously? Leo has a better chance with Lyle than Kenna ever would. (She wouldn't be surprised if they had one of those if-we're-not-married-by-40-then-we're-getting-hitched pacts.)
And then there's Jacob. Some people find them to be an unlikely pair, but Kenna doesn't think so. Initially she'd befriended him because Leo had made other friends and no longer wanted to spend every waking moment with his sister. And here they are: still best friends. And yeah, she doesn't exactly approve of the floozies he spends his nights with, but... he's her best friend. She loves him. And she'll keep her damn mouth shut if that's what it takes.

Maxwell Easton Beauregard
[ Nicknames ]
Max – he isn’t as particular about his nickname as Di, but thinks that Maxwell can be a little much.
[ Gender ]
Male
[ Age ]
Eighteen
[ Occupation ]
Law - has a pretty big internship set up after he graduates.
[ Grade ]
Senior
[ Years in Attendance ]
Four
[ Appearance ]

[ Face Claim ] Benjamin Eidem
[ Eyes ]
Crystal blue – he always made Di jealous that he got both the height of the family and the blue eyes. It has never really mattered to him besides the fact that his eyes have been known to give up his lies when they dance in the light.
[ Hair ]
The dirty blonde locks on his head are generally tamed, but catching him as he first wakes up shows the true nature of his hair. The curls are seemingly unmanageable and rowdy, so on the rare occasion he is late, 99% of the time you can blame his hair.
[ Body Type ]
The classic Beauregard build, tall and broad. He didn’t start filling out muscularly until his sophomore year and for some odd reason the girls began paying a lot of attention to him after the summer. He reaches a height of 6’1” which he literally holds over Di.
[ Distinct Markings ]
Besides the slight stubble that somehow makes him look put together? He has a few scars here and there typical of a boy from playing too rough. He has a longer scar on his left thigh from a skateboarding accident that he is often too embarrassed to talk about.
[ Personality ]
Max is everything a poster child should be: looks, brains, and personality. He has always been a rule follower, but don’t let that make you think he is boring. Max is full of sunshine and can be a bit of a goofball, though he knows when to turn that part of him off and be the budding politician/lawyer that he has always dreamed of being. He likes routine and is very organized, so adventures are foreign to him but not out of the question, he just has yet to find someone worth going on grand adventures with. He is a realist with a spoonful of optimism, Max believes that problems can always be solved if you put forth the right effort.
He works hard. Very hard. Maybe a little too hard? He is definitely an overachiever, but this is more to please (and eventually pass up) his father. Max wants to be like his father, proud and strong, yet with a touch of compassion. His father is very conservative and Max finds his leanings to be a bit more liberal as he is open to new and invigorating ideas. Max is wholly compassionate, when he puts his mind or heart to something he makes sure that he will achieve his end goal by whatever moral means he needs to take. Max is a take charge kind of leader, he isn’t one to sit back and watch life pass him by.
Max considers himself to be very book smart where his sister Di is more street smart. They make a dangerous pair; that is why he originally tried to keep her on track with him so they could be unstoppable running mates. Max forgives easily, it has always been a part of him to be open and diplomatic so learning from people has made him love harder. While being known for having a large heart, this does make him a bit of a romantic. Always chasing that unattainable girl at the party. He sees it as a bit of a challenge, while still keeping in mind that she has the full power to decide where it will go. He was never much of a feminist until Di sat him down and lectured him for 4 hours and 8 minutes (yes, he kept track).
[ Biggest Strength & Fatal Flaw ]
His biggest strength is the fact that he is ruthlessly diplomatic. He always acted as a buffer between his father and Di, especially when their mother left. He believes that everyone deserves a chance to tell their side of the story without any repercussions.
His fatal flaw is that he loves too easily, even if people hurt him, Max is beyond willing to forgive them. He only wants to trust and see the best in people.
[ History ]
Max was a know-it-all growing up and is never allowed to forget that growing out of that was probably his greatest achievement according to Di. Despite this he was always the favorite of his father, the boy to carry on the family name would obviously be the most important child. He always showed promise like the men of the Beauregard line. That’s not to say he’s a stick in the mud, Max often goes to parties though they are unlike the ones that Di is known for. He has always attended the high class parties with his father as a way to get his foot in the door of the political world before he was even able to do so. He hasn’t strayed out of line either, making him a further inspiration for good publicity.
Life was relatively simple for him, that is until he walked in on his mother having sex with their family friend James. It not only made life extremely awkward, he lost a lot of respect for two people he held in such high regard. He was always forgiving, but this was one time that really messed with him and his view on family and love. He was in a period of almost depression for a while, it was hard to do simple tasks. He rarely left his room and when his father needed him most, he just couldn’t help. Max always regrets this time of his life, freshman year was really hard for him. People never looked at him the same and being the big-hearted person he was took this terribly. He visited the psych ward once during this year for attempting to OD. He looks back on this moment with shame, but in the end he has turned it around to be an advocate for those suffering.

[ Biggest Fear ]
Getting back to a place as dark as he had been. That’s why he is so forgiving and optimistic most days, he wants to never experience that level of fear or pain again. He constantly fears for the wellbeing of Di due to her habits.
[ MEM ]
He and his girlfriend at the time were having sex on the soccer field the summer before his junior year. Everything was great until the cops showed up on a noise complaint and they both had to be booked into jail for the night. Sure people talked about it for the next while with praise but he was embarrassed to have such poor judgement.
[ Other ]
He has a love for astrology and horoscopes, while he doesn’t take everything to heart he likes to read them almost daily. This is a secret that few know, he didn’t even tell Di for the longest time.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

[ nicknames ] Some call her Ri or Riri, though those people are few. It's really just Riesza.
[ gender ] Female
[ age ] Seventeen
[ occupation ] CE (Political Science, International Business Affairs)
[ grade ] Twelve
[ years of attendance ] Four
[ hair color ] A golden light brown
[ eye color ] Gray
[ height ] 5'5"
[ body type ] She's fairly curvy -- inheriting good looks from her model mother -- and slim, due to her efforts to keep in shape (make no mistake, though; Riesza's no athlete, just capable of running on a treadmill and in Central Park).
[ face claim ] Behati Prinsloo
[ personality ] Riesza surrounds herself with people. She's charismatic and friendly, always smiling and always helpful -- and a total schmoozer. Yep. She's an incredibly ambitious girl -- wants to be a congresswoman someday, and who knows? maybe even president -- and it shows. She is meticulous in her interations with people in a discreetly calculating way -- after all, some people shouldn't know they're being manipulated. And it works; she's built up a network of relationships.
But a lot of them can't see past her parents. For some it's model Lissa Kaplan, known for her ginormous rack; for others, it's her incredibly successful father. And some are too focused on that. And while Riesza considers all connections to be useful connections, it's annoying when they're becoming friends in hopes of fucking her mother. Yeah. It's a bit awkward sometimes, honestly.
Some say that Riesza gets obsessive with some things, and they'd be right. She's a perfectionist. A bit of a control freak. And that's worked out okay so far, because she's always had the money and mind to get to a good place. It's never really occurred to her, though, that others have that same advantage. And really? If she felt seriously threatened... that perfectly-constructed character that she's created would probably crumble.
[ greatest strength ] Riesza is a very stable person. She has a good, comfortable family situation, and a friend situation, and quite frankly, she handles most of her problems well. Probably due to the perspective that she's gained through her studies.
[ fatal flaw ] Riesza is so afraid of appearing weak or a pushover that she is relentless. She refuses to back down or compromise. In a lot of ways, it's her way or the highway. And for all the ways that she's mature... she still has a lot to learn in this department.
[ biggest fear ] That she's going to be the family failure. Her dad made in on his own; Riesza wants to, too.Though she could probably always follow in her mother's footsteps as a backup.
[ most embarrassing memory ] That time that people posted pictures of her mother from that one topless campaign all over school? Yeah, no. She doesn't want to hear anyone else talking about her mom's MILF status. Or telling her that her mom has better tits than her. Or asking to see Riesza's tits. Yeah. No.
[ history ] Who would've thought that an underwear model would marry the CEO of a biomedical engineering empire? Well it happened. And that's how Alexander Hamilton (yes, his parents actually named him that) and Lissa Kaplan got married. It was an odd match from the start, but it's always worked out okay -- sure, Lissa traveled too much to be a huge part of her daughter's early life, but she wasn't neglectful.
As a result of this, Riesza's very close with her father -- and he's the one who told her that she could be whatever she wanted to be, if she worked hard enough. And that's stuck with her, obviously. She's always admired him for his success as a self-made man -- having been born in Middle-of-Nowhere, Nebraska, and getting a full-ride scholarship and moving to the city.
She's always had the potential to do great things -- or so her father tells her -- and Ridgeport Preparatory Academy serves as the perfect stepping stone for her future political career.
[ family ] Alexander (father), Lissa (mother)

Hair Color- Exact shade of the pic
Eye Color- Stormy grey
Height- 5' 11"
Body Type- Tall, Average build.
Distinctive Markings- Chances are if you see Lucas you'll see him with a camera around his neck. This guy isn't a photographer major but a lot of people guess it is because he's so passionate about it. (And that camera is almost always around his neck)
Faceclaim: Marcus Hedbrandh
Personality:
Lucas is just.... something else entirely. He's calm and quiet and keeps to himself. He's sophisticated and well mannered. He knows how to please a crowd when necessary. He's curious and will do whatever it takes to get answers. And he knows how to take a person down. On the inside is a cold and calculating young man. He can and will insult you if you get in his way or do something he does not like. Lucas is a person who will get even and make sure a person won't try to get back at him.
As for interests, Lucas is extremely passionate about photography. Ever since he was old enough to hold a camera (and probably even before that) he was in love with it. He's been taking pictures ever since he could remember. He just loves everything about it. The idea that a single shot can hold so many memories. How a simple change in lighting can make a single frame seem so different. The work and effort that goes into finding the perfect shot. Everything about it just appeals to Lucas. But as much as Lucas loves photography, he's also practical. He knows owning up to becoming CEO is more important so he leaves photography for the side. But every moment he isn't working towards his future MBA, he's taking pictures.

History: Lucas's parents were CEO to two separate publishing companies. They met at a convention and fell in love. Their marriage also resulted in the two companies combining which had the now bigger company soar and become the best publishing company of its time. Three years after their marriage the couple had a child. Since both mother and father were fans of the Sherlock Holmes books, and his mother was a related to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, they named their son after Sherlock Holmes alter ego Moriarty because they wanted something in his name to be unique but related to the books. Over the years both parents cared for their son and had him develop a love for reading and getting answers to his questions from books. They took him to some high class parties where he became well mannered and crowd pleaser. He also learned how listen in on conversations without being noticed and how to get the information he wanted when talking to someone.
Anyways. Since Lucas is the only heir to the company and so his parents have sort of groomed him into the role of becoming the company's future CEO. And it's not like Lucas is forced into the role, his parents have made sure to tell him that he has a choice but he has been looking forward to helping out with the company since he could remember. Sure he loved photography but that's not much of a career. And it's something he can do on the side if he wants (and he does). With that all settled, his parents had him enrolled at Ridgeport. The only downside was that it was only on the other side of the country, and it wasn't like they could simply move the headquarters of the company to New York. So they sent Lucas to New York himself. He has his own flat and everything.
MEM: Lucas doesn't get embarrassed so none.Alright that's a lie. There was this one time... (view spoiler)

[ Face Claim ] Logan Lerman
[ Eyes ]
Behind his glasses are a pair of wicked green eyes, they are holding a lot of secrets and plans. They are the kind of eyes that can seep directly into your soul without a word to you.
[ Hair ]
Thick mop of black hair that can hardly stay nice, he’s given up trying in fact. It goes how it pleases and is inky black like his soul (as he likes to say).
[ Body Type ]
He’s lean, nothing particularly special. His body is healthy and he goes to the gym to keep it that way. Apollo isn’t about getting jacked or whatever guys are into. He just wants to look good
[ Distinct Markings ]
His glasses are an integral part of his face, they are only off when he’s showering or sleeping. He also has a prosthetic leg from the accident, though most people don’t know because he doesn’t seem clunky about it nor does he share the fact that he has one publicly. Most of the time, this is discovered just before sex, but the girls never seem to mind.
[ Personality ]
Apollo almost takes after his namesake personality-wise. He is definitely cocky about his appearance and most any task he takes on. He knows that he is this way as well, but that doesn’t stop him from making it a continued part of his existence. It’s not that he’s trying to be an asshole, but he’s always loved himself (minus a brief period of time after losing Artemis) and he thinks that is a reasonable quality for someone to have.
Apollo loves honesty, from himself and others. In fact, he thrives on it. He trust facts far more than abstract ideas or opinions. Straightforward statements and information are king, and he will always return the honesty (whether it's wanted or not). He is reliable, dedicated, but can be impatient when waiting for someone to complete a task he knows he could have done in a shorter amount of time all while producing more efficient results. He is a great organizer and his life had always been planned down to the letter, it took some time to get back into this groove after Artemis passed away.
He has strong convictions about what is right, wrong, and socially acceptable. His compulsion to create order often extends to all things and everyone, ignoring the possibility that there are two right ways to get things done. He does not hesitate to let these "deviants" know what he thinks, considering it his duty to set things right. He often forgets to take the time to consider that his honesty can hurt people’s feelings. Potentially his greatest weakness: expressing emotions and feeling empathy. He can get so caught up in the facts and most effective methods that he forgets to think of what makes others happy, or of their sensitivity.
[ Biggest Strength & Fatal Flaw ]
His biggest strength is his strong will. Apollo will stand up for what is right regardless of what others will end up thinking of him. He is committed to his opinions and will fight to the death for them. He isn’t easily budged from his ideas.
His fatal flaw is the fact that he gets anxiety in situations that are out of his control. His anxiety can often get to the point where he will need some of his medication to return his mind to a sense of calm. This stems from the car accident when he lost his sister. While the situation could have been under his control, he let that get away from him and it damaged his life permanently.
[ History ]
Apollo and Artemis (view spoiler) Percival had always been inseparable, the twins were closer than most and knew it. They loved being paired together in conversation and in life as well. Growing up with each other meant growing up with your best friend. The two did practically everything together, knowing that they would always have each other’s backs. Life was great for them in New York, they loved the rich history of the area and always went exploring to discover something new. It was Apollo who truly loved seeing what build their city, but Artemis loved her brother so she was supportive to a fault to help him see what made him the happiest. She loved dance and was damn good at it too. She wanted to dance on Broadway one day.
That day never came for Artemis. Both of them were intoxicated, not terribly, but to the point that driving should have never even been in the picture, even if their house was only a few blocks away. It was cold outside and neither of them wanted to walk home. Apollo slipped behind the wheel of the car and the last thing he remembered was the crunch of metal and the smell of blood. Waking up without a leg was bearable, waking up without Artemis was like death for him. They were both only 16 at the time and had life forever altered. The hardest part of it all for him was the fact that it was completely his fault. His parents lost all respect and trust for him, almost disowned him even, but they knew what he truly needed was help.
Apollo spent a good portion of his sophomore year in a rehab-type facility that took care of teaching him how to function without his left leg and how to stay far away from alcohol. It proved to work well for him, he is now two years sober and running with his father in the mornings. The trial of losing his sister eventually brought the family closer together and when his parents had an accident baby the next year that helped as well. Yet the nightmares still haunt him on occasion and he has never truly forgiven himself for killing his best friend.

[ Biggest Fear ]
He has this weird irrational fear of priests, part of it comes from openly denying that there could be a god and the other part comes from the fact that they are a more judgmental group than he is. He couldn’t go to one out of fear that they would berate him and tear him to bits for causing the accident that killed his sister (he did that enough to himself).
He also is deathly afraid of snakes, like "I’m going to cry in a corner because I saw a garden snake" afraid.
[ MEM ]
Speaking of snakes... His most embarrassing moment was right after he came back to school after his physical and mental rehab getaway. The Academy thought it would be a good idea to have an “Animal Ambassadors” day where animals were brought in for the students to study and observe their habits. One of the handlers happened to be holding a giant snake around his chest. Not having his anxiety medication on him, Apollo took off around the corner to hide and ended up escaping into the girl’s bathroom practically crying because of the large snake. Everyone saw him and it was something they didn’t seem to forget for almost a year later.
[ Other ]
For their 16th birthday, he and Artemis got tattoos together. She got a sun and he got a moon that way if they were ever apart from one another they would have a piece of each other. Whenever he misses her or is just feeling empty you can seem him subconsciously rub his left wrist where the crescent moon is located.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

[ nicknames ] Jefferson hates nicknames with a burning passion. So... no. Then again, he also hates his name -- a president and a fucking European forest region, how much more pretentious can you get? -- but he hates the idea of nicknames just a wee bit more.

[ personality ] Jefferson puts the 'stud' in 'studious.' He kind of defies the science nerd stereotype -- because while he's never been quiet about his ambition to become an oncologistand hopefully find the cure to cancer, he maintains an active social life and is far from the awkward introvert that people seem to think science nerds are. Instead, he surrounds himself with people -- well, really, more like girls -- so that he's never alone and wears his status as a STEM student like a badge of honor all the while.
See, Jefferson's kind of full of himself. Not in the extremely showy way, but... the guy could do to be knocked down a few pegs. He knows he's smart. He knows he's like the top student in the STEM program right now. And he knows he's good-looking. Sure, he doesn't look like he belongs in a Calvin Klein ad like some of the people here -- Jesus, is attractiveness a prerequisite or something? -- but he's certainly good-looking, and his dating history is a testament to that.
It's not like he's some sort of heartbreaker -- yeah, he's dated a lot of girls, but it's not like they didn't know what they were getting into. All relationships with Jefferson are casual. He's not into hook-ups, but he's also not scouting out a future wife or anything. He doesn't like to take that kind of thing too seriously, he says -- or maybe he's not capable of taking them that seriously. Because there's only one thing he's ever really committed to, and that's his ambition to become a doctor. And that means the schoolwork's heavy and yeah, he wants to have fun. That's why he dates people -- because it's fun. He likes it. It's enough of a commitment that he doesn't drown himself in schoolwork, but not so serious that he's fenced in forever.
See, Jefferson wants to make a difference in people's lives. And hopefully someday that'll be on a large scale (again, the guy's dream is the find the cure to fucking cancer, so good luck with that and maybe another Jefferson will go down in the history books), but for now he knows to start small. For all his arrogance about what he's good at, he's not above helping other people in that area. Hence the tutoring.Besides, he can put that on his college applications.
[ greatest strength ] Jefferson is a natural leader. He was meant to be in charge, not to follow. He's good at making a game plan and setting it into action. He's an initiator, an extremely proactive person who just wants to get things done. For all that his bigger flaws are, laziness and lack of initiative aren't there.
[ fatal flaw ] ...but he also can't stand to not be the leader. He kind of throws internal hissy fits if people don't listen to him, and okay... although he's not kicking and screaming, it shows. More than a little bit. He doesn't handle it well, like at all. He refuses to surrender power to other people, because he's a strong believer in if you want it done right, do it yourself and, well... he's not exactly a team player unless he can be the captain.
[ biggest fear ] Being useless. Not having anything real to offer to the world. Because he honestly doesn't know what he would do. Because yeah, he's gonna go to med school and even if he never finds the cure to cancerwhich, of course, he probably won't, but he doesn't like to think about that, he's bound to help someone along the way, right? But he's afraid that he won't. It's not a logical thing, he knows. But... what if he doesn't have the capacity to help someone? Because how much does it matter that he wants to help if he can't actually do anything?
[ most embarrassing memory ] Well back in sophomore year he was dating August Rayner. And really, he's not going to pretend like the blame wasn't equal on this one. See... Ridgeport is pretty strict on their PDA rules, so naturally they'd seek places to make out, right? And that place, one day, happened to be one of the janitor's closets. They weren't expecting the janitor to actually walk in, let alone him shove them out and start yelling at them. Ah, yes... that relationship led to quite a few embarrassing moments, didn't it? Although Jefferson's lucky that he wasn't the one coming on to a teacher via text message.
[ history ] It's probably a good thing that Jefferson's parents, although extremely wealthy and pretentious, are very stable. Because otherwise, he probably would be still grieving in an incredibly unhealthy way.
Everything started out good, you see -- William, Alexandra, and Jefferson's sister, Anne (because of course Jefferson gets a name like Jefferson Ardennes, and what does his sister get? Anne Elizabeth. Talk about unfair). Anne and Jefferson had been close -- close as they could be, anyway, when she left for college when he was still in elementary school.
Anne had barely been married -- some lawyer she met when she was in school, Charles Knapp -- when they found out about the uterine cancer. In some ways, maybe they should've seen it coming -- the genetic tendency was there. But still it blindsided the Yorks, because who thought that a perfectly healthy twenty-four-year-old would get uterine cancer?
The details were never clear to Jefferson. He was only ten when she died, after all. He was told that the cancer spread, that it had gone too far, was too aggressive. And that was it. Anne was gone. Gone before Jefferson even really knew what was happening.
At first it was confusion. And then confusion turned to anger. Anger at God, for letting this happen to his sister -- for making this happen to his sister? Anger at his sister, even, for not fighting harder. Anger at the doctors for not fucking doing enough. And at age eleven, Jefferson's whole world was bitterness. The sun didn't seem to shine anymore. Happy things made him even angrier, because goddammit, if he wasn't happy anymore then no one could be.
Eventually his parents made him go to a therapist. He had resisted at first; however, they did not give in -- and he ended up thanking them later. And sure, okay, things still aren't perfect and he has a dream spoken like an idiotic idealist that will probably never actually happen -- but it's better. He's better. He's getting better. And one day, he'll be better enough to leave his own mark on the world, right? So he'll hold on to that.

∞Name: Meredith Penelope VanSamBeck
↳Nickname: It's Meredith. Anything else is not really approved of, especially anything like "mer-mer" or "Mary" or anything. Nope. It's Meredith. Nicknames are frowned upon.
∞Gender: Female
∞Age: 16
∞Occupation: Ancient History...that's like greek and romans and stuff...right?
∞Grade: Junior
∞Years of Attendance: This will be her First. Surprise, Surprise.
∞Appearance:
∞Hair Color- As a child, Meredith had the brightest blonde hair, but the older she gets the darker it becomes.
∞Eye Color- A bright deep blue-green hue.
∞Height- 5'6", she's always been glad that she's not freakishly tall or dwarfishly short either.
∞Body Type- Slender due to many morning runs with her dog. Dalmatians are a very energetic breed, and Bandit has always kept her in shape.
∞Distinctive Markings- She has a birthmark on her ribs, on the left side, in the shape of Denmark but it's not a place that get's shown off a lot. So most people don't know about it.
∞Faceclaim: Iryna Shatkivska
∞Personality:
Meredith has always been one of those people that isn't hard to categorize. When you meet her, you almost always walk away from the conversation confident that you either love her or hate her.
Meredith has always had a strong sense of self; she doesn't like other people interfering in her life (bartering her away like some prize to be won). She's always preferred to make her own choices and judgments, often passing judgment on people based upon their actions and behaviors. She has always been the kind of person to believe in the strength of one's own character. She believes that with enough willpower and strength one can do whatever they wish, that their heart is what can lead them to make the right decisions. But this doesn't mean she's overly emotional in any capacity, it simply means that she's far more passionate than one might expect from her. Her emotions do dictate a lot of her choices though.
She is objectively logical, assessing people easily with the facts and using them to build toward what she wants. Meredith can be a schemer, and come up with plans, but her emotions ultimately control her decisions.
Stubborn. It's one of her most dominant traits, because Meredith has always refused to compromise on anything that she believes strongly in. She will fight for what she believes is right and often times she will fight until she wears the other person down into agreeing with her. It's rare that Meredith will actually yell or fight in that manner, but she will punish with the silent treatment and often acting as though you're a stranger to her when you've really upset her. Once Meredith has made up on her mind on something, there's no shifting her course.
Meredith lives in the here and now. She doesn’t really think long term and has no desire to change this about herself. She doesn’t do things for long term effects but for what it will get her in the moment.
↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Meredith has always prided herself on being a good judge of character. She can recognize things in the way people speak to her, a sense of sincerity or genuine kindness that makes her a good judge of people. At least she's never been wrong yet, and she hopes that she won't be. Sure, she recognizes all people can be bitchy or an ass, but she's never quite met someone who was a complete tool. But hey...she's at Ridgeport now, so it's bound to happen, right?
↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ Not planning for the future. She makes impulsive decisions, like 'let's just bring home a dog that i liked at the pound one day' because it's not like she needed to make sure her apartment building could even have pets or anything. Yeah....Meredith tends to bring herself a lot of unnecessary trouble just because she reacts first and thinks later.
∞Family/History:
♛ Richard Carter VanSamBeck || Richard had always been a good dad. Showed up to every birthday, got his kids the things they really wanted, that sort of thing. But despite all his great qualities, he's never really had the best head for business. Which is probably why the VanSamBeck company nearly went under. If they hadn't been bought out by Welsh publishing company, well the VanSamBeck family would be lower than middle class.
♚ Elizabeth Crystal VanSamBeck || Meredith's mother has always been a gentle soul. The kind of woman that made you feel guilty when you did something wrong because of that look to her soft blue eyes or the way she'd cry when things didn't turn out how she planned them to. Elizabeth never had to raise her voice to yell at her kids, she just would guilt them into doing their chores and things. Oh yes. Elizabeth had always been adamant that her children do chores and have a sense of working value.
♛ Clifton Carter VanSamBeck || Meredith's 8 year old brother who is completely obsessed with video games. Of any nature. Call of Duty, Minecraft, Pokemon, FNAF...whatever that is. Meredith can't ever really keep up with all his interests and obsessions, but the one thing she knows is that if she want to bond with him she usually has to bond with him over a round of mario kart and occasionally she can rally him from a tv screen long enough to play a game of Life. Yup. The board game. Score for Mer.
There are few points that seem remarkably important in Meredith's life. Most of those are the events that lead up to her attending Ridgeport, so here they are:
- A few years ago the VanSamBeck company took a turn down south for the worse.
- Then just before the company could declare bankruptcy, Welsh publishing bought them out. Part of that deal going through was that the Welsh family would offer to pay for Meredith and Clifton's education.
- So now here she is at Ridgeport and honestly she has no idea what she's doing here with all these insanely rich kids.
- Because sure, before she was well off. But she had gone to a private school, the kind that normal people still could afford. Not....holy crap this school is so expensive that the toilets should be made of freakin' gold expensive school.
- And what the hell is SOS?
∞Biggest Fear:
Meredith has always had a fear of commitment, since she's never been one to plan for the future or focus all her attention on making decisions for the future, the idea of committing to someone for a relationship often has her feeling anxious. It's a form of planning for the future, and she's always been scared that when you plan for the future you're setting yourself up for disappointment when things take a turn for the worse.
∞MEM:
So Meredith has a dalmatian named Bandit, right? Well let's just say that like first week of school she was walking bandit when she recognized someone from school. A Jacob McAllister to be specific, and the only reason she recognized him from school was because on the first day of school she'd heard a gaggle of freshman giggling about him. So naturally, Meredith, eager to make friends, struck up a conversation with Jacob McAllister.
A conversation that quickly died when Bandit decided Jacob closely resembled a fire hydrant and relieved his bladder all over Jacob's leg.
As of right now? This is the most embarrassing moment Meredith has had at Ridgepoint. Then again...this is her first year, so there's bound to be a lot more of these embarrassments to talk about in therapy when she's forty.

∞Hair Color- A dirty blonde hue. Not a pure blonde, which is kind of like it matches his soul or something.
∞Eye Color- Grey-blue. They're not as bright as some, but they're not dull either.
∞Height- 6'2" Yeah...Greyson is pretty damn tall.
∞Body Type- Tall, Tone, look at pictures for more detail
∞Distinctive Markings- N/A
∞Faceclaim: Tim Borrmann
∞Personality:
Let's get one thing straight right away. Greyson is not a good guy. He's not tragedy bundled in layers and beneath everything there's a heart of gold. No. In fact he's doubted himself if he has a heart. He's a jerk. He doesn't really care much about others and even when he cares? He does all that he can to try and not care. Now, his bad nature isn't entirely his fault. I mean you try being raised the way Vanity children were raised and coming out in any way other than as a total heartless mess. And it's not to the point where he's skinning cats or anything like that. He's just not a good guy.
When it comes to trust, Greyson is the last person you should depend on. It's not that he's flaky or anything, it's just that he's never been able to trust in anyone. He's also rather selfish, in a way that he thinks about himself before he thinks about others. But not in the Hadley way where he does whatever he wants. He's cautious so that nothing he does will get back and reflect on his family. Because as he was taught all his life.....Image is everything. With those words in mind you should know that he's not a total ass. I mean he's a pretty big jerk, often saying things to ensure no one is focusing too much on him. Because Greyson isn't a huge fan of attention. Despite all that others might think. When he wants to Greyson can be downright charming...when he wants.
↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Lying. I mean this guy? He got into this school based on fabrications of his minds imagination. I mean that's all that fictional writing is, right? Lies put down on paper to entertain the minds of those looking to escape reality? Yeah, Greyson is pretty good at lying.
↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ Let's just say that Greyson isn't a fan of sleep? Should we go with that one? Or maybe it's just that he has a lot on his mind? Well the truth is that Greyson has a bit of an addiction. And it's something he's kept secret from all including his twin. But Greyson is pretty dependent upon this 'helper' of his. And without it he's pretty reckless. And there's always Daisy...always.
∞Family/History:
♀ Marie Anne Vanity- Mother, 49
♂ Jackson Vanity- Father, 52
♂ Tyson Jackson Vanity- Older brother, 26
♀ Melanie Joyce Vanity- Older sister, 19
♀ Daisy Vanity- Older sister, 18 *Twin*
♀ Hadley Avalon Vanity- Younger Sister, 17
The Vanity family? It's that family. They're perfect. They have the fancy big house(s), the nice cars, and lovely groomed children. In the eyes of the public? They're the ideal family. Throughout childhood....Greyson had a relatively normal life for a Vanity. He was born and raised to be exceptional. So naturally there wasn't a lot of love and compassion, and even with his twin things were.....distant, at best. But you know....there were some good parts about his life. Early childhood memories, the kind that are a little fuzzy and you're not quite sure if they're dreams or real memories.
One of those memories? He had to be only three. All that he really knows is that he was out on the porch with Daisy and Hadley, and Hadley did something. Took Daisy's doll or something and as a result? Daisy pushed Hadley and the little toddling two year old fell back and Daisy stormed off. Greyson remembers helping his little sister up again and dusting off her clothes and calming her down, telling her it would be all right. But that was a long time ago and things have changed a lot since then.
Greyson isn't sure when it first started happening. Or maybe it always happened and he just isn't sure when he realized it. That he realized his little sister was different from the rest of the family. That she didn't seem to want to be part of the family. So what did he do? He tried harder. Tried to be a better role model for her. Tried to be more perfect. Better grades. Better looks. Better social skills. Better everything. It seemed that every time Hadley rebelled against the family? The only way Greyson could handle it was by becoming more 'perfect'. As if he thought that if he was perfect enough...Hadley would re-join their family.
Their Perfect Family.
Then again, every family has secrets, and while the Vanity's have always been the apple of the socialite world? Well let's just say that during their school years, everyone has had their issues. Tyson? slept with a teacher during his high school years. Melanie? Experimented a bit with her friends. Greyson? Well he has the pills. Daisy? Greyson doesn't even know what's up with Daisy. Personally he thinks she just was born without a heart. Hadley? Well no one talks about her anymore. Not since the vanity parents sent her to boarding school. It seems that every Vanity child is a little messed up somewhere along their timeline. Not that anyone knows that? Because if there is one thing that every Vanity child knows? It's how to keep a secret. So the chances of finding out about any of their little issues? It's minimum.
∞Biggest Fear:
Greyson has always feared being alone. For being a twin, he's always felt isolated from Daisy, and her cold shoulder towards him has never helped. So yeah...Greyson craves human connection. He just worries that he'll end up completely alone in a room full of people.
∞MEM:
People always joke about how it would suck to be a guy because when you get attracted to someone it can be like 'boom instant boner' and stuff...but a lot of people don't know is that sometimes you just get a surprise boner. You can just be sitting there thinking about like lunch and before you know it you're awkwardly adjusting your pants...and sometimes a girl is so pretty when you see her it just sort of happens.
Well during sophomore year Greyson had accidentally collided with Diamond when leaving a science class and well...he ended up tripping backwards over someone's bag and she landed on top of him and that instant attraction he'd had for her? Well it was so strong I'd bet she could feel it.
Greyson's never been able to meet her eyes since then.

∞Grade: 12
∞Years of Attendance: 4 years, baby.
∞Appearance:

∞Height- 5'7''
∞Body Type- see picture
∞Distinctive Markings-
∞Faceclaim: unknown
Jennifer has yet to master the whole poker face thing... and she is still very far from it. She's very expressive, and more often than not her facial expressions contradict her words. As hard as she might try to be nice, her eyes will betray her disinterest in a geeky Sophomore explaining to her the exact rotation of the planets around the sun... bleh.
Though it's not all bad, Jenny is most infamous for her binder and smirk, two things she never leaves home without.
∞Personality: Jennifer is a bit of a people-pleaser... she's not a pushover, she just knows how to work people to get what she wants. The difference between her and a lot of people at Ridgeport though, is that her motives aren't self serving. Jen really just is a kind person (more than anyone else at Ridgeport, at least), though she isn't selfless, she definitely puts other people before herself. She has always been the friend to listen to everyone else's problems, just sort of offering advice and sitting quietly while they vent. She just eats back snarky comments and tries to understand where other people are coming from.
It's actually sort of comical how quiet Jenny can be... not in the way that she doesn't talk a lot, but if she said half of the things out loud she thinks in her head. Yikes. Her words are always very thoughtful, and well worded. Her expressions? Ha. hahahahahaha. Oops. Even so, when she's joking around with people, she still has an air of eloquence about herself. She's pretty professional, always dressed nicely and all that jazz. Golden child. Yay.
Though it can be quite exhausting, Jen tries to maintain a happy-go-lucky, easy going demeanor. Unlike most people at this school, she actually socializes in a positive way with other students she encounters. You would probably hate being around her if it wasn't so genuine. She just sort of lets people's attitudes roll off her skin, not letting people affect her. One might say it was product of how she was raised -- high expectations, being the bigger person and all that jazz. She likes to think she's above all the drama and whatnot here at Ridgeport, only because she chooses to ignore it, not because she's not involved in it. One can only try, right?
↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Jen is an organization goddess. She's fabulous at planning things, which is why she's the Student-Appointed Activities Director.
↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ Jennifer cannot live without her binder. Her flaw isn't necessarily the book itself, but everything she puts into it. She is incredibly controlling... she always needs to write down her plans for the day, the week, and the month. It's the ritual she has, and she literally cannot stop. Never once has Jennifer just let things fall into place how they may -- she has to have a hand in everything she does or she feels like it's a complete disaster.
∞Family/History:
Marcus - Father
Julia - Mother
Tabitha - Younger Sister
Jennifer's home life is fairly normal... about the same as every other rich kid here at RPA. She was raised to uphold very high standards, which obviously contributed to how uptight she can be most of the time. A lot of her childhood was spent outside playing with other kids, and nannies, in the rich neighborhood she is still able to call home. It was quite apparent how different she was at a young age though... Jen never really wanted to play with other kids, she was kind of forced. She wanted to go to work with her Mom or Dad, always wanting to be an adult way too young.
Realizing her potential, her parents fast-tracked her education, enrolling her into a lot of academic programs instead of like... what normal kids try. Ballet, jazz, gymnastics... theater. bleh. She didn't mind. In her teens, Jennifer started helping with her mother's business -- planning expensive parties. She sat over appointments a lot, turning into a makeshift secretary. That's where Jennifer picked up her binder habit -- for better or for worse, in death she wouldn't even part.
By this time, you're probably wondering how Tabitha fits in to all of this. Well... that's the question still sort of being answered. Jennifer completely adores her little sister, but she has never quite gotten a hang of how to act around her. She is torn between being the fun sister and an authority figure. Jennifer has always tried to be the support system for Tabitha her parents didn't provide, but given Jen's the reason Tabitha doesn't have it from her parents in the first place... gah. Sticky situation. No matter how much Jennifer tries to divert attention to Tabitha, it never really sticks. Her parents are kind of awful that way.
∞Biggest Fear: Isn't it obvious? That book is her life. Do. Not. Touch. It. She will literally murder you.∞MEM: So like... Enrichment. That class? Literally fucking hell. Jennifer is very intelligent, pretty good at most things. But you know what she's not good at? Fucking sports and art. Why that class is even necessary is beyond her. Every time she rotates through the sports and performing arts sections of Enrichment she wants to shoot herself in the face just to get out of it. Like she's so bad it's continuously embarrassing.
Though one moment stands out in particular in these lovely little guinea pig experiments. Sophomore year, she was in the rec sports rotation (fuck), and they were playing some German version of handball, where for some stupid reason there were three balls in this game? There were sticks involved, it was all really confusing and awful. Jennifer was perfectly content to stand away out of the action, and Leonal Fucking Anderson was perfectly content not to let her. Jennifer still holds a grudge to this very day.
Long story short, she tripped after he ran into her (for the second time, mind you), and when she tried to catch her fall she caught his gym shorts instead. Like if that wasn't awful enough, he fell on top of her. She screamed bloody murder so loud, she could have gotten casted for a murder movie from three miles away.
∞Other: Jennifer's binder:
It's black on the outside, and the inside is completely flooded with everything Jennifer has crammed into it over the past four years. Her entire life is in that book, and anytime someone asks her what's inside she just says "Homework" In reality, she's just a control freak, and its contents include but are not limited to: schedules, goals, nutrition lists, bucket lists, doodles, future events, all things planning... the works.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that given enough time, in any conversation Thomas will eventually ramble about whatever he happens to be fascinated with at that time. Sometimes it something academic and undoubtedly pretentious, and sometimes it's just the latest movie he happens to have loved.
Even if you have no personal interest in Alexander the Great, or how politics effects our language, or the camera work in Mad Max, the fact of the matter is that his passion in almost infectious. He's someone who just deeply loves and is fascinated by almost everything in life, and it's obvious whenever he talks, from the way his eyes practically gleam to the huge grin painted across his face. He just loves learning, and knowing things.
But maybe the problem is that that's all Thomas wants to do. The place he's most at home at in the world is his room, reading, sprawled out in the chair next to the precariously stacked tower of books he's yet to read. And anything else, anything that actually requires work, is not something he wants a part of.─── strength: Thomas has a great memory. Sure, most of it is occupied by generally
esoteric and pretentious academic knowledge, but you can be sure
that he'll never forget your birthday.
─── weakness: He's majorly irresponsible, sadly. For someone who loves learning
as much as he does, it's amazing how little he cares about actually
doing school work. Sure, he keeps his grades up, but begrudgingly
and with a frankly impressive amount of procrastination.

Had Thomas been born further up in the birth order of the Exley children, his life would have been startlingly different. He would have been expected (or maybe 'forced' is the right word, depending on how you look at it) to go into law or politics like his parents, and would have had responsibility and propriety figuratively beat into him from the moment he could walk and talk.
But instead, Thomas was born the youngest of five siblings. The baby of the family. And as a result, his parents were too busy with their careers and propelling their older children into future successful careers to really put many restrictions on Thomas. As long as he kept himself out of trouble, he was practically allowed free reign to pursue whatever he wanted.
That was especially true when he got to Ridgeport. All of his siblings had previously attended, each majoring in either Political Science or Adjudication & Law Proceedings. But not Thomas. He danced around his first two years, fascinated by every potential subject area except law and politics, before settling on linguistics and ancient history. He'd be the family disappointment if his parents didn't already have four other children following their predetermined path of success.─── father: Mark Exley (lawyer, running for the senate)

───Biggest fear
Looking stupid and being wrong. Knowledge may be mostly a joy for him, but it's also a point of pride. So the thought of being certain he knew something, and someone publicly disproving him, is a major fear of his.
───Most embarrassing moment
Thomas has never been big on sports, but last year he was dragged to a basketball game by one of his friends. It was surprisingly fun, or rather, it was up until the end. As he stood up and was about to go down the stairs of the bleachers, someone's bag was pushed out halfway onto the stairs. His foot barely caught on the end of the bag, but it was enough. He did a swan dive──it was almost beautiful in its total lack of grace──down the first few stairs, rolling down the last couple, until at last he was collapsed in a heap on the floor, with a sprained ankle and five different people glaring at him from having knocked them down in the process of falling.
And of course, for the next two months, every time someone asked him how he hurt his ankle, his friends forced him to explain the story in excruciating detail while they doubled over laughing.

Let's start by talking about the Theo that everyone knows. Theo Wyatt, the sarcastic little shit who always shows up fully-loaded with sarcasm as his choice ammunition. Theo Wyatt, the boy with the strongest eyebrow game of any you've ever met. Theo Wyatt, whose persuasion tactics go unrivaled, a mixture of natural charisma and careful word choice demolishing whatever comebacks you had in store.
Theo likes to act tough. It's what comes with having a six-pack and being chosen for the superlatives "best hair" and "best dressed" in eighth grade. Theo has standards to live up to, and he's determined not only to reach them, but to exceed them. It's the reason for his trademark smirk and his excessive use of the deadpan expression as well as his lofty ambitions and extraordinary charisma. He carries himself as if he's unbreakable and most people buy it.
But that's because they don't know that Theo cries like a baby every time he watches The Breakfast Club. They know the Theo Wyatt who moans and groans as his friends show off their ubernerd talents but not the Theo who goes home and secretly memorizes the Latin names of various flora and fauna. Theo Wyatt, whose Netflix history is made up of Scandal episodes and cheesy romcoms. Theo Wyatt, who screams at the sight of blood and still becomes queasy whenever his family sits down to watch The Shining for the umpteenth time, not that he'll ever admit it. Then again, Theo Wyatt isn't one to admit a lot of things.
Behind the jawline that could break glass and the eyebrows that could break hearts is a boy crafted from ragged encyclopedias and stuffed animals. A boy desperate to be remembered, not just as another pretty face, but as the next name knighted upon cases such as Brown vs. Board and Obergfell vs. Hodges. Theo Wyatt is determined to change the world, to go so far that he not only fights for what he believes in, but wins the cause.

If there's anything that can be said about the Wyatt family, it's that they sure enjoy having the last laugh. Jacob Wyatt, the fifth and last son of the blue-blooded Manhattan family which had been ruling the political world for centuries, was never expected to amount to much. After all, when your trust fund was somewhere in the nine digit realm, there wasn't much more you could do. But perhaps it was because the odds were so slim that Jacob became so ambitious, beating out his own brother in the election to take the coveted role of New York state Senator.
Theodore knows he has a lot to live up to. When you're the spitting image of your old man, both in stature and in personality, and that said "old man" is the best politician of the 21st century, your life is not taken lightly. For most children, such high stakes would aggravate and destroy. But for Theo, it's simply a challenge. Perhaps once, he wasn't dripping with charisma. Now he is. Perhaps once, he was unashamed to walk around with 3,000 page encyclopedias and clutch anxiously to beanie babies. Now he is. The Wyatt family is one you have to learn how to adapt to, or else it will crush you. Learn how to navigate through the scandal without being part of it. Stay close to your family, but never so close that they know you too well. Theo's entire life has been about balance, about control, about surpassing expectations and reputations and Ridgeport is just another card in the deck. Let's hope it stays that way.▹ f a t h e r ───────────── jacob wyatt ( ny senator )──────────────────────────────────────────────

▹ g r e a t e s tf e a r ─── Isn't it obvious? Failure. That word brings the taste of rusted metal to his lips. It hounds him down at night, it's the sole theme of all of his nightmares. Theo's stakes are high and his ambitions even higher, and that makes the potential of failing yet even more crippling, as he realises how insignificant he is. Well, there's his cue for yet another existential crisis.
▹ m o s te m b a r r a s s i n g
m o m e n t ─── Theo's pretty good at navigating through life without horribly disfiguring his reputation in any way but there was that time in seventh grade where he screamed bloody murder and promptly fainted when his table partner's nose started gushing blood as they were dissecting a frog. He woke up to the lovely sound of mockery and laughter, and while he has learned to laugh it off and joke about what a pathetic loser he was back in the day, Joey Giani's nose still makes it's rounds through Theo's nightmares every so often.

( personality )Nobody notices Elliott, the quiet kid in the back of the class, the one too afraid to raise his hand or volunteer to answer the question. Elliott is the kid that never speaks. And it's not that he can't, physically, anyways, but more that his anxiety prevents him from actually doing so. See, Elliott, while very friendly and very honest, is a hard book to open, his social anxiety constantly hindering him from opening up to someone. He steers clear from parties and get-togethers and stays well away from the spotlight. And while he's comfortable doing this, living this life of solitude, it can be really hard when loneliness creeps up, when he wants nothing more than a friend he can talk to, a shoulder to cry on when he feels like he's all alone.
Elliott is also a dreamer though you'd never know it. He never shares his crazy ideas or comes forward with a spectacular story. A part of the reason he doesn't share this more artistic side of himself is because his father quickly shut that down when he was young. Life is about the facts. These silly little fantasies are just that: fantasies. And they won't get you anywhere It was a common saying in the Grey household, which is part of the reason Elliott is even in the Corporate Edification program at Ridgeport -- he wasn't allowed to express himself creatively, at least, as a major he wasn't. But he does still draw, little sketches on the back of tests in the corner of his notes. It helps him cope and quite frankly, he likes it.
( biggest strength ) His exceptional memory. Elliott can recall nearly every single face he has ever learned and finds it incredibly easy to retain a lot of information -- it really helps with his classes.
( fatal flaw ) His anxiety is probably his greatest weakness. He avoids social situations like they're the plague and he gets so flustered when talking to new people that he usually just doesn't... It takes its toll and he can get very lonely at times.
( biggest fear ) Elliott fears loneliness more than anything. He's terrified that he is never going to be able to open up to someone enough to actually build a life with them... He's terrified that he won't ever have someone to call his own.
( history )James Grey and Eleanora Williams met in college and from that moment on, the two were utterly smitten. At least, that's the story they told Elliott and Aurora, but Elliott can't imagine them ever in love -- can't imagine his father being in a happy relationship. Elliott can only ever remember his father as cold and impassive, a man obsessed with the facts and solely focused on solving the case. He was never a picturesque dad and Elliott doubts he was ever the gentle and passionate husband. Elliott wishes he was though; desperately wants a dad that acts like a dad. He never got him though. But his sister did.
All throughout his adolescence, Elliott was the forgotten child. He was the quiet one, the one that didn't like to attend the social events his parents were invited to. He wasn't charming or exciting. He was just quiet and simple Elliott, the dark-haired boy who sat in the corner with his book and who kept his opinions to himself. It was Aurora, his younger sister, who was the more admired child. She was bright and energetic and enchanted people with her smile. She was loved by all those who met her and Elliott was just kind of left behind... The kid that faded into the background while Aurora took the spotlight.
He never held this against her, of course. He accepted that she was the golden child and that he was like a burden on his parents. He was counselor calls and anxiety meds while Aurora was soccer practice and piano lessons. Elliott understood that Aurora was 'better', but it still hurt, getting less of his parents attention while Aurora got it all. There's also the fact that Elliott isn't really accepted in his household, not anymore... He was fourteen when he told his parents he was bisexual, which only put even more of a rift between them. His father, after Elliott had stammered through his little declaration, stared at him with a look of contempt and then stood, slapping him across the face and then leaving. His mother didn't do anything, just gaped at him. And Aurora, well, she tried to console him, but he just shoved her off, tears streaming down his reddened cheeks. After that, he never really talked to his parents. He lived in the background and they pretended he wasn't there.

mother :: Eleanora Grey; Fifty-one; Financial Analyst; Distant
sister :: Aurora Grey; Fifteen; Parents favorite; Not close
( mem ) Elliott's most humiliating moment happened in his sophomore year, during a presentation he had to give in class. His heart was pounding and his stomach was churning with nervousness. He approached the front of the room slowly, all eyes on him... And then he puked, right there on his teacher's shoes. He ran from the room in tears and now he refuses to eat before a presentation.
