Alright, you have finally convinced me. I have started a bloglovin account. I want to work on net working with other bloggers.
How do you make it possible for people to subscribe by email? I have Bloglovin but I would like to add this option and I'm new to this whole blogging thing. Here's my link, if the website has some importance in the process: http://lauromantique.blogspot.ca/ , By the way, this is a great post for blogging advice, because I found many tips! :)
Hope this helps, Laurence! How to add the email subscription option using Blogger.
First, log in to your Blogger account and go to your blog's page. Next, click the link(on the left) that says "layout." You should see the current layout of your blog. Click on one of the spaces that read "add a gadget" and various options for gadgets to add should pop up. The email subscription gadget should be one of them. Just add it and you're good to go! You can also move gadgets around by dragging them.

Thank you so much! I finally got it :) It was a bit harder, because since I speak French, my Blogger is all written in French, so I had to figure out what the translation was. However, it was easier than I thought, thank God, because it could've been really hard to find! I'm glad that this group exists, because I find many tips on it. :)
I highly suggest using a cute signature at the end of your posts, like mine:
Also, create a unique header for your blog! Right now mine is in the making, but don't just put some photogenic picture. Create your own!
I definitely recommend starting a serial story if you're a writer. It brings people back regularly, and it builds an awesome community... not to mention it helps motivate you to write. ;)

Feel free to add your own advice or ask questions.
1. Make sure people can follow your blog. I've visited a lot of sites where you could only follow through wordpress or GFC. Not everyone has a wordpress. Not everyone has a gmail account and therefore they can't follow. Make sure you have the option to subscribe by email or follow by Bloglovin.
2. Create a Bloglovin account! You can do that here.
3. Make it easy to read. Please don't make your font too bright, or make it so that it blends in with your background. If no one can read your posts, what's the point of having a blog?
4. Reply to comments. I know you might not always have time, but it is the polite thing to do and may make others want to come back.
5. Comment on others' blogs. If someone comments on your blog, it makes them feel good when you go comment on theirs. And if you start visiting and commenting on others' blogs, you may get a few comments back. This builds connections and I highly recommend doing it, unless you have nothing to say. Sometimes you won't, and that's okay.
