Jasmine (pikakejazz) I'm just going to go out on a limb and make the assumption that "thrillers" are ok for "scary" book challenges. I bought the ebook last year and meant to try and read this for the earlier "mystery/thriller" challenge, but I figure this might be more of a scary-thriller than a mystery-thriller anyway... Amirite?

I'm reading this right now for the "future" book. I had a hard time getting started because it's definitely scientific. I even considered abandoning it. But then the format changed a little and I'm loving it. It's hard to even put it down so I'm so glad I stuck with it.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) Finally got around to starting this one! I am only a couple of pages in but I am already having a hard time with the character's voice (which I heard is a problem for some). I am glad you liked it! I will have to stick this one out, for sure. :)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I don't think this would generally be classified as a 'scary' book, but I hope you enjoy it!

Jasmine (pikakejazz) Finally finished! Yeah, I agree this was not really a "scary" book (although being marooned would generally be scary situation, I would think). The author did a good job in keeping lots of humor in it (almost to a fault?) so it really wasn't even nerve-racking at all to read. I was also really impressed with how he kept the storyline entertaining even while explaining all the technical stuff.

My full review here.
