Queen Adelaide entered the gardens, with her dress flowing in the wind. What was better to do than be in the middle of the day, admiring nature? Well, except for demanding people.

Crescent walked along the garden, a rare time when she was out and about. Much less away from home. Her dress was plain and white, not very flowly or frilly. Something one of the servants might wear. She spotted her Aunt Adelaide and froze in place, not expecting to see her here at all.
((Lol, Adelaide's last name is Crescent so it's a bit confusing.))Adelaide tucked her hair behind her ear on her right. She sat down on a park bench. It was so uncomfortable, she believed she deserved her own personal bench. She looked around, admiring a fountain to her left. Out of the corner of her eye, to her right, she saw a young girl. Adelaide turned her focus back to the fountain but then swore she recognized her. When she looked back to her right, she knew immediately who it was. "Hello, Crescent," she said.

Crescent nodded towards her Aunt, doing a slight curtsy slash bow that could have been mistaken for her tripping then catching her self. "Hello Aunt Adelaide...I didn't expect to see you here..." She mumbled off.
Adelaide gasped. Crescent was so rude. She didn't deserve to be a princess. Who could disrespect a queen? She blinked a couple times before finally speaking. "May I ask why that's a problem?" she asked. Figures Crescent is Lucienne's child... Lucienne the brat. Apparently Crescent was following Adelaide's sister's footsteps.

"Um..." Crescent, blinked tilting her head slighty. "Excuse me? I-I don't believe I have one, you may though" Her tone was neutral, having no idea how she had offended her.
Adelaide frowned. She would've executed Crescent right now, but unfortunately she was a princess and would not be allowed. "You may not be so rude to someone like me. You offended me. When you greeted me, you made it seem like a bad thing that I was here. ‘I didn't expect to see you here’."

"It was true I was surprised. Its not a bad thing-Its the first time I have seen someone outside my home" Crescent wasn't about to let somone-even the queen- tell her she was rude or had offended her. "a bit difficult living in your chambers for weeks at a time" She mumbled.
Adelaide rolled her eyes. "I do hope you're telling the truth, young lady," she said. "So um... how's life going right now?" she asked. She had to be a little friendly with her niece, didn't she?

Crescent shrugged "Mom's over protective as always, I don't really talk to my siblings much, they all pretty much ignore me anyway. Its decent I guess you could say" Crescent hung her head for a second as a thought of her father came to her mind but she quickly dismissed you. "And you? how is your life?"
"Well, of course I'm busy being queen and all. But aside from my fame and my other life, most's well. Except for my daughter who's being bratty right now," Adelaide shrugged. Really, all was well being the queen of what seemed to her the world.

"Maybe try to talk to her, she may just be upset about somthing" Crescent hadn't spoken to her Aunt in a while, she forgot how self centered she seemed. "After...after my father died I acted out how you describe as bratty but really I was confused and upset."
"Well, no one died in her life. She doesn't have some kind of reason to be confused and upset," Adelaide rolled her eyes.

"That doesn't mean there can't be another reason...Aunt" Crescent, glanced down, fixing her dress that didn't need fixing. "But...I do hope to see her soon. I haven't spoken to my cousins in a long time. Maybe at the monthly ball..."
"Oh yes, the monthly ball. So stressful with all the planning and blablabla. Who knew being a queen could be so, so hard," Adelaide sighed. She made it sound like being the queen was so bad, which poor people would hate her for saying.

"You seem to love complaining about your rank, people would kill to be queen or at least have food in there mouthes at a snap of their fingers" Crescent crossed her arms over her chest taking a sharp defensive stance.
"Well, then that just sucks for them!" Adelaide shrugged. She didn't care what other people want, she cared about what she wants. There's hardly anything for her to want, since it's always taken care of by a servant.

Crescent walked towards her aunt at a slow pace. "You are really whiny for a queen. Not surprised, no different from when I last saw you." Hiding in her room for a few months hadn't dwindled her abitliy to speak her opinion loud and clear.
Adelaide was getting frustrated now. "How rude! You're whining about me whining! I am the queen!" she exclaimed. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."

"Touche"Crescent said, rolling her eyes. "You queen, I'm princess. You can't really do anything to me, besides we are family and Mother wouldn't forgive you. I recommend you build a bridge and get over how terrible your royal life is"
"A queen, however, is still more powerful than a bratty princess," Adelaide said. Who cared if Lucienne didn't forgive her? Did she want forgiveness? No. And a bridge? Why a bridge?

"At least I have some morals" Crescent muttered under her breath. "How the hell did you grow up with my mother? You two are nothing alike"
"Do you have everything alike with your siblings, hon?" Adelaide asked. She couldn't believe how rude her own niece was.

"I don't really speak to them, but yes when I was younger we did." Crescent now was glaring at her aunt. If she didn't have any human instincts she would have attacked her by now.
"Then you can't say that Lucienne and I have nothing alike and how could we grow up. Since, you know, you've been growing up with your siblings and don't have everything in common with them," Adelaide explained.
