▓Personality▓

Cry has always been a bit of a mysterious figure when it comes to identifying who he is. Once upon a time, he actually spent the majority of his leeway attempting to hide his true self from people, which ultimately led to him having many different forms. And in fact, he does, but he no longer attempts to hide behind a facade. That doesn't mean he's going to sit there and bleed out information to everyone, but he does expect that everyone know who he is immediately. Just because he doesn't feel like explaining who he is. He enjoys making people confused, it gives him a sense of pride. Furthermore, Cry has a very strange sense of humor.

It consists of exceptionally blunt, to exceptionally subtle hints at jokes. At one time he'll be very vulgar, perverted and all around inconsiderate with how he jokes. And another time, he'll be discreet. Blank even. Cracking anti jokes and being a little dry. He in himself, isn't a social butterfly. He doesn't really consider himself any sort of social bug. He prefers to be a social snake. Which, in simplest terms, is someone who is social when need be, but a loner when he doesn't see a benefit to continuing to converse with others. It's in his nature to be a little evil.

Cry can be very goofy. Despite his hard boiled, blank and emotionless disposition, he does have a really silly side to him. Whether or not it was his insanity that ended up taking a toll on him, or if he's always been like that, will probably never be elaborated on. But what is known, is that he is secretly a bit clumsy, which is why he floats, and also has a hard time paying attention to everything at once. Of course, he collects and replays every bit of information he hears and see's in his head over and over, but at the moment, it seems that he can't always concentrate on certain things. In fact, it is to be noted that Cry tends to, on occasion, space out, as he puts it, "Fondly regards creation", as he will go around petting trees, and even Carmano, the cute little soul fuzz ball that chills out on his shoulder.

Cry cares deeply for his family. It's speculated that they are the only thing that really matters to him. He cares for them so much, that he suppresses all of his evil habits and feelings in order to raise them and pay attention to them as well as he can... even if he's never been the most reliable of father figures. As Satan, the dark side of the balance, he can't control himself very well. Which may be one of his fatal flaws. He's suppressed so many evil, vulgar and sinful urges that he generated something called, Virus. A separate but conjoining being that resides deep in his self conscious. Something that influences on a scale incomprehensible to those who are lower than him on power level. Amaterasu, his sister is probably the only one who could really understand that. Virus has such a strong influence, that even the simplest of things, like telling his children he is proud of them, or participating in seemingly mundane tasks, is excessively difficult for him. Being alive alone, proves a difficult challenge. Which is why standing still for prolonged amounts of time makes him very skiddish and irritable. Secretly, he doubts everything. He is very skeptical of everything's existence and at times, can't seem to separate reality from fantasy.

A very important aspect of Cry's personality is how much he moves around. He needs to constantly move. Otherwise, his other side will take hold. He is mesmerized by technology, and absolutely loves what gamers would call, "nostalgic games". He can also be a bit of a pervert, as part of both sides of himself merging into a thirdish personality. He's blunt, but not so blunt that he loses that stoic disposition. What's somewhat ironic, is that he on occasion says some relatively deep words... and sometimes he doesn't even realize what he's saying. It kind of just comes out. And other times he'll say something incredibly simple, and it will have a mind blowing effect on a person, without them entirely realizing.

Insanity. And that's about it. But let's delve into this. This isn't regular, run of the mill insanity. We're talking about insanity that only an immortal being such as Cry could even think to experience. It's an inconceivable idea to mortal minds.

The universe wasn't created in seven days. That common misconception should probably go and jump of a hypothetical bridge. No. The process was much longer. First, Amaterasu was born. And several excruciating minutes later, Cry was born. Time really had no effect when they had been created, and is only being used for the sake of convenience. Also, using the word born... is the closest word to describe what had happened. They basically just popped into existence. When Amaterasu stood as the only being in the infinite world of darkness around, she shined so brightly that she could have blinded the very darkness that threatened to consume her. And when Cry became existent, his darkness almost consumed her light, the two clashed so greatly that it created the very sun in which the planets revolve around. Of course, unbeknownst to Amaterasu was that she had created that. Though her lack of knowledge didn't last very long. As soon afterwards, she knew everything. It was like a river of knowledge rapidly flowed through her mind. And it happened to Cry in unison. And soon the two were fighting. Immense power of destruction and creation, drowning the universe in both life and death. Soon enough, the two had stopped, realizing that they could be doing so much more. They didn't talk. Not for a long while. For they didn't know how to speak, or in what language to speak in. Amaterasu ultimately created Earth, a planet that was suitable for the creatures she was planning on giving life to. Cry sat in despair. As he too, wanted to create something as beautiful as life. He watched from a far, hidden away deep within a tomb he had made for himself within the crevices of deep space. He stared in awe as Amaterasu's creations began to evolve. Slowly but surely, they became more advanced. And he was banished here. In this tomb. He became envious of her power. And eventually, he too attempted to create something. But he had created something... evil. In his haste, he had created Hell. Literal hell. A place of darkness and fire. A place unsuitable for any life as beautiful as Amaterasu's creations. And so once again, he sat alone. Thinking about how he could create. Cry became so jealous, and hateful towards Amaterasu, that he tempted one of them into doing something against her, not realizing that she had planned for him to do so. For Amaterasu was far more wise than he was. To her, Cry was a naive, ignorant little child, even if his power matched hers, or maybe even exceeded it.

And so Cry, had unwillingly, forced upon the evolution of man kind. In a way, he felt prideful. His spite against Amaterasu slowly fading, as he realized what she had done. She had given him the power to change something for the better. She had found a loophole. Even if it was only for a few moments... she had done it. And he was forever grateful. Cry could not fight back the urges he was getting however, and could only cause more destruction. He himself knew this. And so he locked himself back into his tomb, his real self. And in the real world, he placed a clone of himself. Made of flesh and blood. But far less powerful than he. He could control this clone, essentially like he'd control his own body. Which proved to be very useful, as Cry's physical body underwent withdrawls, fighting against him with stronger and stronger urges as Cry went on. At first, Cry had been a bit naive. He was ruthless, laughed, smiled, and even held emotions of a normal person on occasion. After thousands of years, his personality evolved into something more complex. Something that was unique, but also a bit dangerous. As his personalities had split into two separate entities. Cry dubbed this second entity Virus, for obvious reasons. Over the years, the clone of Cry had been used to create the first demons. These demons came after the humans had even come close to what they are now. They came in on chariots of fire, having been designed over and over again, scrapped, and remodeled. Cry just couldn't make them the way he wanted to. He couldn't make them innocent. He couldn't make them non destructive. They all came out as vicious creatures with horns and tails. All having such a rapid lust for blood. He eventually gave up on attempting to be like his sister in the end. As doing so caused him such sorrow and heart break. Cry was childish, and still is. He may even be more innocent than Amaterasu herself. Mind wise, anyways. Despite his childishness, and his ignorance, Cry still attempted to make a race that wasn't so... angry. This was when he created the Hell Hounds. Cerberus was obviously the first to come out of this experiment. And while he was most definitely one fearsome creature, Cerberus showed small traits that suggested he felt remorse and guilt. Which... satisfied Cry, to some extent.



The war between species started rather abruptly. It began like the flap of a butterflies wings. Ever so slowly morphing from a spark, to a raging wild fire. The angels and the demons, dubbed by Amaterasu and Cry, began growing spiteful towards one another. And soon took it upon themselves to swear death upon the creator's of the opposing creatures. And so, in their haste, Amaterasu and Cry met up, and for the first time, mutually agreed on creating a divine being that lacked to much agency, to collect the souls of each species of creation, be it angels, demons, humans or animal. These creatures were dubbed the Reapers. And soon, the reapers were doing just what they had been built to do. Balance out the world. Be it by words, or be it by force. They did their job. Cry took it in his own hands to create the Reaper King. Amaterasu created the second one, whom would watch over the purgatory realm skillfully. Each would have their own artifact to keep and protect. These were the reaper kings, Ciel, and Sebastian. The two of them were responsible for the upcoming creation of reapers. And only they knew how to create reapers, aside from Cry and Ama. After the war, Cry and Amaterasu seemed to grow a bit more distant, crowning their Queens. Excluding the incident with Aeliana and an angel from Amaterasu's side, nothing seemed very eventful between the two. Perhaps it was because Cry was starting to distance himself from everyone. He had spent so much time thinking about the people around him, and how to protect them from himself, that he had neglected to think about his actions, and how they'd change him. How they'd evolve him. And soon, Cry found that he had become lost. Lost within himself.

▓Overall Power▓

Cry has never been one with a signature fighting style, as there are so very many to choose from. This might just be an unintentionally wise move on his part, as it often confuses his opponents, and leaves them rather disoriented. And so, he usually ends up with a mixture of fighting styles. Unless he's actually in Mad!Cry form, or Chaos!Cry form, then everything kind of just blurs over and he... goes on a blood lust rampage and kills anything in sight without the slightest hesitation. He usually fights with his sword, but has been seen to use time slowing powers, and as a last resort, Red Miles, a power that is exclusive to him, and his eldest son Eridan. Red Miles by itself, could easily take out hundreds of Reapers. It is a power that Cry avoids using, as it could cause mass genocide on all species, due to it possibly being able to extend not only throughout the entire planet, but the universe as well, in search of life forms to take out.

Both Creators, have what is labeled as an artifact. The origin of this is unknown overall, but it is speculated to be created by Amaterasu and Cry, being that both are excellent crafters. Obviously. Cry's artifact is an object that holds incomprehensible power. Because Cry's main alignment is destruction and insanity, it is a power of mass destruction that is custom to the way Cry battles his opponents. If touched by anyone besides himself and his allies, the person would go mad, as everything would be revealed to that person all at once. It would be beyond insanity, it would be like putting the brain into a concentration camp. Only the concentration camp would be held atop an erupting volcano. There would also be, coincidentally, an overly malicious hurricane ravaging the concentration camp. So ultimately, it would fry the hell out of whoever decides to touch its' brain. Cry's sword is a sword he calls, "The Miracle". And for good reason too. As the sword's powers are still being figured out by Cry, even if Cry has owned it his entire life.

▓List of Powers▓

Red Miles is a power that Cry only uses in desperate emergency. It is an overwhelming power that effects all life around it and cuts down nearly every opponent. It is a power that is dangerous in all ways and could easily cause the mass genocide of each and every species on earth. It is a power granted to him by the mother of all universes, Nexus. A power that reveals his true intentions, and that is to destroy. When Cry uses this power, it usually means that it is no longer Cry that we're talking about. Probably either Virus or Mad!Cry. Even in either of those forms, Cry would NEVER got to such lengths. This power is exclusive to himself, and Eridan, his eldest son. Though Eridan's understanding of it is considerably small compared to Cry's.

Another unique power of Cry's is to force upon overwhelming self revelation. A power that could possibly drive another person to sheer insanity as Cry pushes the truth of a person into their minds. This is a very dangerous power, and Cry only uses it when he no longer wishes to fight. He considers it death by knowledge, which in itself isn't necessarily fair, or at least he doesn't believe it is. This power has many other entitlements as well, such as relaying information, passing upon memories, a form of communication. But it can also be used in a reverse function. To test if someone is telling the truth. It is a very handy trick for manipulation especially. It can be used as a torture device as well, and it can be used to force people to feel any emotion that Cry wants them to feel. Such as the feeling of immense burning. Or the sensation of frostbite. Those are usually for long ranged attacks.

Through a form of advanced telekinesis, Cry can summon animals by imagining them in his mind. Similar to how he created the demons and hell. However, the catch, is that he can only create destructive creatures. These creatures can only use their aspects in a destructive way, and are not tactical beings. Unless he spends a much longer time on them. This advanced telepathy/telekinesis allows him the advantage of speaking to animals, and just about anyone using only his mind. Though he rarely uses this.

▓Other Details▓

Capricorns have this sense of melancholy and necessity for structure and work because inside they feel they are unworthy and need to continuously prove their worth. Once they realize that all they need is self-love, door will open and they will see the world in a new light, one that allows for pleasure and guilt-free fun. Capricorns most important need is security, financial and material security. This is the driving force behind their ambitious character and all other personality traits of desire to succeed. They are very concerned with their public standing and their prestige. Capricorns are loners but they also need to feel appreciated, but they are excellent at hiding this truth. Capricorns are very self contained and they have many faces they present to the world, they are known as aloof and indifferent but this is them concealing themselves from the world, unfortunately, they may never know who they really are. This causes feelings of insecurity and causes them to question their own self worth.
