Elspeth Hall (elspeth_grace) | 6 comments So I went to get Comanche moon out from my local library (thanks for the recommendation Gemma) . I found that not only did i have to request the book but there is a waiting list .... So what I was wondering is , Is the book as good as the blurb or is simon web one of those authors that is popular because he is popular? After all some of the Agitha Christie books were awful but they were popular because of her reputation.
Not that I'm expecting any book recommended on goodreads to be awful I was just surprised, even the latest addition to Terry Pratchets discworld series doesn't have a waiting list ...

Well, what I can say to you honestly is that even if it took me a while till I finish it I didn't regret that I read it to the last page. It was my first book by this author and the action was keeping me curious about what will happen next.

The other one Casey Ryan, which was supposed to be a western, was a total disappointing book and didn't even finish it. Very confusing characters and not much interesting action.

Elspeth Hall (elspeth_grace) | 6 comments thanks for the warning, this was my first western and though I found it "cluncky" and awkwardly written I did enjoy it .

I'm so happy you like it. Do you like to read graphic novels?

Elspeth Hall (elspeth_grace) | 6 comments not read those in years .... I did like Jonah Hex not sure if that's a graphic novel or a comic, I've always wondered whether there was a difference between the 2 categories or whether as adults we are embarrassed at saying we read comic books.....

Well I guess they can be comics or novels. I've read a couple of them that my kids enjoy.
