Grave Mercy didn't really meet my expectations of it and sent me into the worst slump that I've had this year. But I'm starting Dark Triumph because of Sybella.

I'm with you Dana. Although I like Dark Triumph a bit more I am having a hard time getting through it as well. I really wanted to love this series....

I started it this morning and I'm already at page 150. The pacing of this one is so much better and we don't have to deal with world building. Sybella is such an interesting character!

I agree. The pacing is much better. Maybe it is simply because I have so many things going right now that are interfering with my reading time.... Either way book 2 is better in my opinion. I can't decide if I want to read book 3 or not.

Just finished Dark Triumph! It was fantastic. I loved how character driven it was. I am starting Mortal Heart now.
