I am looking for books where the main female character was physically abused in the past and has escaped the relationship in some way and is moving on to a healthier romance. Harlequin romances are acceptable

I am thinking of Into the darkest corner by Elizabeth Haynes. It is a very intense and raw so before reading it. Do your spiritual check up.

These have a lighter feel, but I thought I'd throw them out there. This series starts with The Perfect Rake and deals with 5 sisters who had an abusive grandfather.
Great collection here. I would add Cherokee Thunder by Rachel Lee and The Long Masquerade by Madeleine Brent (which also contains instances of rape, per your other request).
