I was thinking that since there are some custom characters in the RP, we could make custom upgrades for them.
Something like this:

(If you want an example, just look at one of the many skylander pages. The soul gem is usually with the basic upgrades.)

Basic Upgrades:
Primary: Overhead Slash - Chops overhead, keep slashing for a multihit combo.
Secondary: Star Strike - Fire a star out of your shield that can bounce off walls and enemies.

First Upgrades (T1):
Primary Upgrade: Longsword - Overhead slash does more damage
Secondary Upgrade: Infused Light - Star strike does more damage and stars moves faster.
Tertiary Upgrade: Shields Up! - Press (teriary) to use Zena's shield. Zena can deflect attacks and has more defense in this pose.
Unique Upgrade: Bash Blitz - Press (primary) to preform a Shield Bash while in Shields Up!

Branching Upgrade (T2):
Primary Branch: SwordMaster - Upgrade Zena's Sword attacks!
Upgrade 1: Sword Mastery - Press (p) (p) and HOLD (secondary) to do Spin Slash; Press (p) (p) and HOLD (t) to do Sword Beam.
Upgrade 2: Star Tennis - Stars can be deflected from Zena's sword.
Upgrade 3: Star Sword - Sword attacks do even MORE damage.

Secondary Branch: Superstar - Upgrade Zena's Star attacks!
Upgrade 1: Shooting Star - Stars do MORE damage and move even faster.
Upgrade 2: Star Defender - Stars can be fired in Shields Up! By pressing (s). Stars deflect off of Zena's Shield.
Upgrade 3: Tri-Star - Star Strike shoots three stars.

Soul Gem (T3): Star Paladin - Gain increased Health and Defense. Also gain a pretty sweet golden armor set!

Catchphrase: For the Stars!

Cool idea! I like that a lot.
