Here is the spot to let everyone know your Top 5 reads of 2015 so far.
Now we're halfway through the year already (so scary, I know) it would be great to share with the group the 5 best books you've read in the past 6 months for whatever reason.
I can't wait to see what everyone has enjoyed reading so far this year!

Colleen Let me preface by saying I have only read 24/60 book goal this year. But I can easily come up with my top 5 in order:

5. Cloud Atlas
4. The Rosie Project
3. The Luminaries
2. The Nightingale
1. Burial Rites

Chris Haught (haughtc) I've finished up a couple of series which have taken up a lot of my time this year, and were very good:
Fool's Fate
The Price of Spring

Also, I've very much enjoyed:
Fuzzy Nation
The Windup Girl
Half the World

I'm also going to throw a novella on here that was excellent, as an honorable mention:
Slow Bullets

I've only read 13 books so far this year which is a bit sad :-(
So, out of these my top 5 would have to be:

Eyeshot
The Stand
Ice Station
The Stranger
The Waste Lands - a re-read for me after first reading it around 15 years ago!

The Luminaries, by Eleanor Catton

I see The Luminaries pop up a lot on favourite lists so I think I definitely need to add that one to my TBR.

Colleen Sharyl -

Do it! Just know there are a lot of characters, but the character writing is really well done. I liked her style, I don't think the astrology signs meant much to the story, but I think it could be googled. I want to read more Man Booker prize winners.
