Hi there, I've got such a problem.

My real name is Adéla Rosípalová and that was my register name. My books are written by this name, but now I have Adelle R. nickname -Adelle R.and my books, which have my real name on cover, are added to other profile Adéla Rosípalová. And now I can't change name on Adelle R.'s profile to my real name. I hope you understand that I want all of my books in one profile with my real name...
Please, can you do some with it?

If you've written books with two names, we will have to maintain two profiles on Goodreads. Sorry, we cannot combine them both to one profile.

But to list all your books all under one profile, what we can do is, add the primary author name as an additional author for all the books you've published using your nickname. That way, when people click on Adelle R, they would see all the books published under that name. And when people click on Adela Rosipalova, they can see all the books you've published - both Adela as well as Adelle.

You can update details in your Goodreads author's page saying that you have an additional profile and provide a link to the other profile.

That's what I think. Let's wait for other librarians to weigh in, as well.

I DON'T write books with two names. All books I've published is with my real name. Adelle is just an internet nickname. I please about change my nickname and add all books to one profile, because I'm not using Adelle R. in reality.

But there are books with the author listed as Adelle R. on the cover.

Yeah, that's a mistake. These books weren't published and they have new covers (with name A. R.), but I can't change them (and don't know why).

As I told, my books have new covers and I can't change it with my account. Hledání Pravdy was published with another cover and name Adéla Rosípalová.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. As far as republished under a new name:

In some cases, a book may be originally published under a pen name, but then later reissued under the author's original name. When this happens, the author listed for any and all editions should be the author name the book was originally published under - so the reissued edition would need its primary author name changed to the originally published pen name, with the additional name added as secondary for all editions with it on the cover. Doing this will allow the various editions to be combined.
