DC Public Library discussion

We will regularly be giving away free copies of upcoming or interesting books. Here's how it works:

1. On a Monday, we will start a new thread advertising the giveaway and explaining the process for entering, usually a reply to the thread with a book recommendation or review.

2. The following Friday at noon, all the replies will be entered into a random, computerized drawing. The winner of the drawing will be announced on the thread that afternoon.

3. The winner will get to name the DCPL location where they would like to pick up the book. The book will then be sent to that location and the winner will be notified when it is available for pick-up.

This is a good idea, to get people excited about books and finding out where their library is and how pleasant it can be to step inside.
