dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena being new at the camp had her bags. She just found out her father is Apollo and that was a lot to take in but she was calm. Her mom qqs angry but worried about her before she walked in the boarders. She had been to camps before when she was younger but this was different. As a troubled sixteen year old this has turned into the punishment. "Everything will be okay, right?" she asked herself. This was a scary moment since she now knows she has siblings but only on her father's side but still. Excitement and terror ran through her because she could get back into the group of bad kids

Though it was only mid-afternoon Avi was looking for some solitude. Usually she took to the woods when in need of some alone time, but today she figured she'd head back to the cabin. Write it out. While most Apollo children had a certain affinity for poetry, she was simply horrible at it. Others had encouraged her to continue, and they'd also told her she was quite good. Those people either were great liars or very persistent. Either way she simply preffered to write to her father. Due to the fact the sun was still out she was betting no one would be hiding away in the cabin. For once it seemed that she was wrong. Closing the door behind her she smiled softly at the young girl that was seated on the bed. "Leena, right?" She asked with a cheerful tone. The girl had been claimed earlier today, but Avi never had a chance to introduce herself before the girl ran off. "My names Avalyn. Counsellor of Apollo. Most people call me Avi though." She continued on this way until she realized the girls expression wasn't reflecting hers at all. "Are you okay?"

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena had her bad set on the bed beside her. She needed to clean up her act or else she could never see her mom again. Even if they fought she still loved her no matter what and her mom was doing all this for her to straighten out. When the door open she saw the other girl who seemed cheery. "Yea," she stood up about this andpiched lint off her clothes. Anyone could see the girl was nervous but to be exact on it was harder to guess. Her fear of never going home to be able to tell her mom she was sorry for everything was the expression she had. "Physically fine," she gave a weak smile. Even in times like this and how she felt the girl could crack a joke. Lee didn't really know if she should confide in Avi because she didn't know if she was going to be a good friend.

Avi watched the girl as she stood up. At her words she had the strange and sudden urge to pull her into a hug. Not one to ignore such urges she did just that. For her it wasn't awkward or strange at all to be doing so. "It'll be fine. You're home." She told her, offering her comfort in the words, but not too much. Some halfbloods didn't like to find out that they'd been lied to their whole lives, and on some occasions that led them to be rather angry and lash out at innocent people. Leena didn't seem like she'd do that though. She just seemed... broken? Not completely, of course, but everyone had their cracks.

((Sure if it's okay with dream too ^^))

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena wasn't surprised by the hug but welcomed in it and hugged her back. She wasn't angry because her mom didn't remember Apollo's name and sometimes its for the best. She didn't cry or anything just welcomed the comfort that Avi could give her to assure her shed be fine. Everything her mom done was to protect and help her become her true self that was meant to be. "Thank you," she whispered before letting go. Her eyes was glassy but she wiped at her eyes so she would make fool of her. Laughing nervously she looked at her feet. "So, would you like to help me get settled in or do you have more important stuff to do here?" she asked looking u with an almost lost look. Being new had to be the hardest thing she's done but it because she finally underatand who she really is. No more wandering who her father is and no more trying to act out was what she wanted and half of that was done.

((Sure))

Avi would hug her for as long as she needed, so she was rather surprised how quickly it ended. Pulling away she relaxed, somewhat, against the wall as she assessed her new sister. They had a few similarities in features- as most Apollo kids seemed to- but she felt a connection with her as well. Most of the newbies wanted to be independent, but Leena looked like she needed someone to depend on. "I'd love to help you get settled in." She replied with a short nod of her head, laughing softly along with her. "As for other duties there's really not much to do during this time of day unless you've got lessons or capture the flag." Shrugging her shoulders she walked closer towards the girls bed. "How much stuff did you bring? Is there more?" She raised an eyebrow, noting the few bags that laid on the bed.

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena sighed softly in relief to have the help. Even though she had a few bags each one was packed full of things since her mom helped her. Unlike most newbie, she was different because her bad past and with making friends it was something she needed. She wanted someone that could help her through understanding all of this but also be a friend to her. Nodded Lee took in all the information she could at the moment to understand the camp. "Yea, this is all of it. I'm not from a wealthy family," she wasn't depressed about it. Her mom worked hard for her and she was happy to have at least clothes, shoes, a roof, and food. Some people didn't understand that but she grew up being loved and understanding things. Most the time people thought it was odd about her but her last real friend thought it was cool.

Avi shrugged her shoulders at the explanation. Getting money was a struggle for her being raised in the camp and having no source of income. The staff often helped her out, and they were rather generous on Christmas and her brithday, so she got by. The only possessions she truly cared about were her bow and arrow. Those had been specially gifted to her from her father. Moving closer towards the bed she looked at the things uncetainly. "So, you just want me to take everything out for you?" She asked before her eyes flickered breifly over towards the dressers. Perhaps explaining a bit more would be helpful. That, and doing so was her job. "This over here is where you can put your clothes." She gestured over towards the few cabinets that were empty, and then the chest at the end of the bed. "Here is where you can also store all your things." She tapped the wooden top carefully before meeting her eyes. "If you don't mind me asking... how'd you find out you were a half-blood, or did it all come to you when you entered camp?" She was curious to know more about the girl and where she came from. Who she was.

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena started to unpack a few things which was a journal and a teddy bear which looked like it seen better days. She really didn't know until coming to the camp and being explained. "My mom was drunk and an alcoholic when she was young so she doesn't remember Apollo much but he remembered her I guess and saw her a few times when she was pregnant. This is really the only thing I have to kno about him," she pulled out the short not with the address and small sentence. "I wasn't chased by moster but I hung out with the wrong people and my mom got tired of it." She started to unpack the clothes she had. Some seemed good for her but others seemed cute as outfit pieces. Lee had no idea if herself until recently. "Is that odd?" she asked a bit worried about being different. She needed this because it gave her a sense on knowing who was now. Avi seemed like a trusting person so she was able to feel free to talk to her.

Avi smiled softly at the teddy bear. At least it didn't look like the younger girl had come from a bad home. When the note was held out to hear she reached for it, reading it over slowly. Though she wasn't an overly emotional person she could almost feel her eyes brimmign with tears. They weren't ones of sadness, but ones of practical joy. She'd found another sister, and her father had brought her here. Unlike many of the Olympian's Apollo was never neglectful to his half-bloods and he always seemed to find ways to reach out to them. "I don't think that's too odd." Avi reassured her with a shake of her head. "Many others show up here 'cause their parents are unsure of what to do. But don't worry about that now. You're home. And Apollo has already claimed you as his, so you're going in the right direction."

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments After finishing her unpacking Leena sat on the bed and pugged the old stuffed bear. It was something she got on her birthday when she was three. It was special to her but she couldn't remember why. "I'll have to explain this to my mom now," she said as she slid the note in her back pocket again. Home, a place where she belonged the thought made he smile. This was where she could fit in and be normal for once. "You make a good sister," she complimented her. To her it was true because she just seemed yo always be there when you needed her like an older sister would.

"Explain what?" Avi asked, raising an eyebrow in question as she rested against the wall beside the bed. She laughed softly under her breath at the compliment. It wasn't something she took lightly being a good sister. She tried to be there for most of her cabin, but often times she'd be pushed away. "That's what you'll say until we play capture the flag," She teased. The game gave her a chance to show a more competitive side. "Want to tour the camp?" She asked, pushing herself away from the wall. There still seemed to be things that needed to be unpacked, but she was sure Leena could take care of them later.

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena looked at her then sat the teddy bear down. "My mom doesn't know a demigod. She thinks this is a camp that'll just help my attitude." She looked around at everything and saw that she had almost all of her clothes unpackes and put away. "Well everyone has a bit of an competitive side. When I was at camp about twelve, I kicked a boy because he was about to take my flag away." She was competitive but not as bad as some people. It was something nice about her. Thinking about the tour she shook her head, "I think it'll be easier if I just wandered around and got lost so I can meet people and mingle." Lee was a very friendly person so she walked over and hugged Avi because she gave her a reason to give people a chance. "But thank you," she smiled when she pulled away.

"You're attitude?" That was one of the strangest things she heard. "Did she not drop you off at the border? Or she just let you walk into the woods having no idea?" She asked the last part teasingly as she looked down at her. Avi laughed at the image of a small daughter of Apollo kicking a boy for such a harmless act. Though she was a bit surprised by the second hug she instinctively wrapped her arms around her before letting them fall back down to her side. "Okay. Have fun, don't get into too much trouble." She warned with a small grin before heading over towards her own bed and grabbing for her journal that was on the night stand.

dreaмcнιld | 211 comments Leena nodded at her then looked our at the door. She didn't know much about what she was getting into but there had to be an adventure waiting for her. "I'll try but its up to fate," she said as she walked out the door. This was gonna be a place for her and to get lost was to meet new people which she needed. Her thoughts on Avi was for sure because the older girl was nice and sisterly to her.
