Celesta was lying on her bed looking over a list of items she had been asked to acquire by some Apollo kids- they wanted to surprise one of their siblings with a birthday party. The items were easy enough to get hold of, it was just trying to think of how to decorate the cabin for them as they wouldn't tell her who's birthday it was. She didn't want to pick the wrong style for them or go to girly if it was a boys birthday. She supposed she would just go with something generic rather than personal in order to cover both genders. Celesta fished her laptop from under her bed and started placing orders for things like banners and decorations while trying to work out what to do for food- did they make it or should she order it.

Bella wandered into the Cabin of Aphrodite, and headed straight for her bed. She sat on it and sighed, pulling her phone out of the pocket on the back of her jeans, and texting her father. Phones weren't really meant to be used in Camp Half Blood, but Bella had managed to sneak one in. After texting her father she flicked onto videos, where she had many home videos stored. She watched them, missing her dad deeply.

Celesta saw her half sister and looked up from her laptop briefly to say hello before returning to ordering decorations. "Hey Bella. Which do you think is better, the light gold and sunset orange?" she asked turning the laptop around to show her sister two table clothe with the same pattern but in different colours. She had eventually settled on an autumnal colour scheme- burnt oranges, golds and reds as it was neutral and represented the Apollo cabin well. She just had to find some classy decorations that didn't look tacky.

Bella looked up, looking closely at the two patterns. "Light gold." She said. She wasn't really a fan of orange, and preferred gold and brown. She stood up and walked over to her mirror, which had a framed photograph of her father next to it, his arms wrapped around her mother - taken before she was born. She sighed. "I hate the fact ive never met mum before." She said. It was also weird, other girls having the same mum as her.

"Gold it is," she replied adding the cloth to the basket before searching for a runner to accent the table cloth. "I think we all do, at least we know she loved us and our fathers unlike some of the kids here." she said upon hearing Bella's comment. She supposed she was a lucky girl as she had a father that loved her and to her the few weeks a year she spent at Camp Half Blood were a holiday. She had a home, friends and a family to go back to. She just wished her father would move on and not be hung over Aphrodite as she was never coming back.

Bella nodded. "Did your dad ever remarry?" She asked. Her dad didn't - but she did know he had a girlfriend now called Simone who he adored, but he knew that he still loved Aphrodite. She went over and helped Celesta with the decorating, as she didn't really have anything else better to do.

" No, never. I've tried pushing him toward women he seems interested in but he says none of them compare to mother. What about you?" she asked bringing up a bunch of decorations on her laptop and moving it so Bella could also see it. She hoped the Apollo cabin appreciated just how much work went into their party.

Bella would have answered, but she noticed the time. She stood up and grabbed her bag. "I have to go - see you later." She said, and disappeared outside. She promised her other friend that she would meet her.
