Chris Quinn For this month, I will be selecting from:

Wool Omnibus
Jam
Ravage
Ape and Essence
After the End: Recent Apocalypses
Blood Skies
MZS: D. C.

and for bonus graphic novels (loads of these), selecting from:

The Walking Dead: Days Gone Bye
The Massive, Vol. 1: Black Pacific
The Bunker: Volume 1
Wasteland, Book 1: Cities in Dust

So mainly apocalyptic and a little bit of dystopia :)

Steve | 208 comments Dystopian/Apocalyptic is another favorite genre for me. He's my list of potentials for this month:

The Water Knife
Strictly Analog
Run
Containment
Star Chamber Brotherhood
A Canticle for Leibowitz
The End Has Come
Yesterday's Gone: Season One
The Dawn: Omnibus edition (A Dystopian Science Fiction, Post Apocalyptic Series): A dystopian Sci-Fi series

Chris, Blood Skies is one of my favorites! The entire 7-book series is worth the time to read!

I'm actually planning on continuing with the challenge next year, except replacing "Romance" with "Western" in March. This has been an excellent way to whittle down my TBR, and has resulted in some excellent finds, too.

Plus it has allowed me to somewhat plan my reading in advance and budget for books that I don't already own.

Steve | 208 comments This is probably way too much, but I'm going to add Seveneves to my list. :D

Chris Quinn A Canticle for Leibowitz is really good, I enjoyed that one. Seeing how things change over time, really interesting idea.

I'll have to admit Steve, I only threw in Blood Skies because it was a free download which has been on my TBR list for a while. But good to hear some positive feedback for it :)

Chris Quinn Woops, I forgot I had Metro 2033 and Metro 2034 waiting to be read as well. Definitely adding them to the potential list.

OMG! You guys are rocking it!!!
I've missed you all so much! And I've missed RMFAO also a lot!!!

I'm still drowned in writing the second draft of my book, but now I'll atleast have enough time to drop by every 2-3 day so so (atleast I'll try to!)

Steve and Dagny... We'll keep this challenge up and running till the end of times! What do you guys say! And I agree with both of you that this challenge needs a bit of fine-tuning.
Let's name all the genre's and plan out a better version for this challenge for 2016 - Like having two genres for each month. With all the genres out there, it'll help us read 24 genres in 2016. How about that?

I'll make a thread for genre names, please post whatever genres come to you mind and we'll try and accommodate 24 main genres in next year's challenge.

I hope you guys are having a great time!
I love this genre and I can't afford to miss it even if it'll kill me! I'm gonna try and read World War Z An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks in the later half of this month and probably the 3rd part of Divergent as well :)

Have a great weekend!!!

Steve | 208 comments I'm really struggling this month... I love dystopian/apocalyptic works, but doing some much-needed home improvements and repairs, working in the yard, and getting ready for 3 weeks with the granddaughters. I love summer, but it really takes a toll on my reading time!

Steve | 208 comments Okay, I've finally finished my first dystopian book of the month: The Water Knife, 4.5 stars. Highly recommended, and my review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I'm not sure I'll be able to read dystopian this month. I was not well for a week and hence, I'm behind schedule for almost everything!
Though I'm doing the NetGalley challenge pretty seriously.

Steve | 208 comments I DNF'd Seveneves, simply too much information and not enough plot. Sad, too, because there was so much potential at the start of this one.

No rating given, but my review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
