Allison | 679 comments Let's just say I was bored and I was supposed to write an ode for English class, so this greatness happened.

I remember when I first bought you, it felt so right.
I would want to spend time with you every day.
You sounded so rich and you had a nice tone.

Until you went extremely out of tune.

I cried that day.
I was scared to tune you all by myself in fear I would break one of your strings,
So I had my violin teacher do it for me.
You were happy after that.

You’ve been with me through thick and thin,
You’ve let me laugh while playing, and cry while playing.
You’ll never betray me, even if we’re both out of tune.

One thing’s for sure:
You’re the best violin in the universe.

Emma | 11 comments I can relate to your poem very well. I love my violin too! :)
This line is my favorite!: "You’ll never betray me, even if we’re both out of tune."
