Garrett sat up and whipped out his phone, and considered dialing his ex's number. He growled and threw the Apple product onto his bed, not having enough courage to ask her.
Garrett ran a hand through his hair as he picked up his phone again. Did he really want to know? He was going to start college soon, and this would taint his focus. Going against every sign not to, he dialed again and waited until the second ring, when she answered. "Cora? Hey...I'm good, better." he took a breath before asking, "Is it...is it mine?" It was a straightforward question, but nonetheless, it needed to be answered. "She? Is...she?" he asked again quietly, pleading for the answer to be no. His heart sank when Cora muttered a quick 'I don't know', and the line went dead. Neither made a sound, so Garrett just hung up, however rude it was. She didn't know.
Garrett led Rose into his cabin and smiled sweetly. He sat on one of the bunks, and beckoned for her to sit across from him.
Garrett snorted and gritted his teeth emphatically. "A lot," he tried to think of a way to introduce these issues, so he made several faces to try to think of a starter.
"It's okay," Garrett said, not wanting Rose to feel bad. "Well, I guess we'll start with the light stuff. You remember my sister, Addy, right?" he asked.
"Well, she beat anorexia this past year," Garrett said proudly. He was always so proud of his baby sister. He played with the frayed edges of his shirt.
Garrett awkwardly nodded. "Yes, it started the summer after her freshman year of high school. Anyway, do you also remember Cora? My girlfriend all through high school?" he tried to jog her memory. He hadn't seen her in a while, but he'd mentioned Cora a few times before in their weekly updates, though recently they'd begun to message less and less.
((Oh, dear. Just because he's based off Matt doesn't mean he is him.))
Garrett noticed Rose's shoulders tense a little, but he ignored it. "Yeah, well, she got pregnant the beginning of senior year," he half-smiled nervously. He scratched the back of his neck, awkwardly trying to brace himself for a bomb of reckless comments.

((What is this logic?))
Garrett growled, frustration making his head pound. "Ex-girlfriend. And everyone knows; she gave birth in April," he said, gulping as his jaw tightened. "Thing is, I'm not too sure it's mine," he finished, giving Rose some look he couldn't quite place.

Garrett shook his head, about to say something when he noticed his phone buzzing. He glanced at the caller ID, seeing it was Daniel and picking up immediately. "Hey," he muttered, waving to Rose that he needed a second.
((Sorry I'm a butthead XP))
"Dude, where are you? I've been looking everywhere," Dan's voice said over the other end, sounding a bit worried.

Garrett grinned. "I'm out camping. If you come by Cabin 8, we can have party," he suggested, laughing to show he was only half serious, yet at the same time, Daniel could save him from the neighbors.
((Hey if ur not doing anything could I make another charrie to RP with one of urs? I'm kinda bored))
Daniel chuckled. "Oh, good. For a minute I thought you were . . . never mind!" he said, quickly changing the subject.
Garrett raised his eyebrow. "I was...what? Nevermind, I have to go. I'll call you later," he mumbled, hanging up his phone and tossing it on the beds. "So, what's up?" he asked again,a s if something new had happened during his three minute phone call.
"Always," Garrett grinned, about to motion towards the fridge but realizing Rose was already there. "Hey, do you remember when we dated in, like fifth through seventh grade?" he asked randomly, remembering his middle school years and how weird they were.
Garrett shrugged. "I don't know. It just seems like those were the times when I actually had friends," he shrugged sadly. Of course, he and his friends had reconciled, but it never had been the same.
Garrett's shoulders tensed. Blair had always been a touchy subject; she had been the first to leave. He didn't say anything for a while, just kind of simmered in the same thoughts he always had. What if I hadn't dated Cora? Maybe things would be different then. "I thought so, but as you know, Blair wasn't exactly the forgiving type. I wonder she and Bella are up to..." he again thought to himself. He'd always kept in touch with Claire, as they'd been basically the two most popular drama kids all throughout their childhood.
Garrett snorted. That was kind of true. "It's just so weird, you know? I don't know why they kept yelling at me and I wish they were never mad," he said, his voice raspy. He ran a hand through his ruffled brown hair, pieces of it sticking up with he slid his hand back to the bed.
"But, you didn't even know I was here until you heard the racket next door," Garrett said, not really getting what she was talking about. He may have matured since seventh grade, but he hadn't really gotten nay farther with girls.
"Oh," Garrett said, referring to the first part of her speech. "And I care a lot about you, Rose. I mean, at this moment, you're one of my best friends," he said, shrugging. He and Alec were still friends too, but he didn't have too many of them as of late.
Garrett, suddenly feeling overwhelmed, searched for an answer but failed to find one. He looked around the room for a distraction. "Rose-I, um," he was quite bad at this stuff. "But with everything happening with Cora, I can't," he didn't want to hurt Rose's feelings, but he couldn't so this right now. There was Bella, and Claire, and Vanessa, and...Blair. Too much drama.
"Rose! Don't go!" Garrett begged. He still wanted to be friends with her, regardless of what she thought of him. He felt cornered; what was he to do? He had to go to college soon and all of this would surely affect his education if it wasn't resolved soon.
Garrett had been staring longingly at the rough wooden floors, so deep in thought that he was no longer thinking. He looked up at the creak of the door, perhaps expecting Rose to have come back. But when he saw it was someone else, he froze. "Blair," he breathed, a dilation of anguish in his pupils.
"Blair..." Garrett pleaded while simultaneously groaning. He stood up and walked slowly over to her, bringing his hand almost to her arm before retracting. He hadn't seen her, really seen her, in years. She was once of very, very close friend of his, and the way things had ended was not the way he'd wanted them to.
"I'm sorry," Garrett managed to spew out. Sorry didn't even begin to explain how he felt, but he was never too good with words. He looked at Blair exasperatedly, wanting so much for her to forgive him already. Six years, and nothing had changed.
((So true. >.<))
Garrett nodded slowly, understanding for the eightieth time that wasn't going to forgive him. He brought his gaze to the floor. In that moment, he realized how bad this had gotten; a simple problem yet effective problem that had started in seventh grade, that had carried on into eighth, and then suddenly it wasn't a problem anymore. Why? Because everyone had left him. He should have listened to them, but he didn't, because then, Cora was a nice person. A sweet girl with problems of her own.
((Make Cora. >:D And Alec. xD))

Garrett's eyes widened slightly, and suddenly a rush of anger flitted across his eyes like a flicker of a flame. "That's not fair, Blair," he said, his voice raising. His jaw was tight with frustration. All they ever did was accuse him of things!
"You're always like this! You make a big deal out of nothing!" Garrett shouted, trying to prove a point. His fists balled themselves up, his knuckles turning white. She really did always do this. Of course, the first time they both were in the same place after a few years would end up in a fight.
Garrett made a frustrated noise in the back of his throat. "It's been six years, Blair! Learn to forgive!" he said, his voice harshly quiet. He swallowed his pride and turned around, not having enough strength to resist saying something he might regret.
"Get over myself?! Are you kidding? You're the one whose been holding a grudge for six years! I tried to reconnect but you never let me!" Garrett said quickly and choppily, looking around for something other than Blair to look at.
"Then tell me. Tell me your side," Garrett said softly, sitting down on his bed and patting the mattress next to him once. He wasn't all that mad anymore, and he looked up at her with eyes that may eventually care. "Please?" he asked, his eyebrows slanted upward in an effort to look sad.
Garrett nodded, having already been told this a thousand times. "Okay," he said, awaiting-no, expecting- more. He clasped his hands together and sort of smiled supportive-like
Behind them followed Claire, who shyly entered and was only there because it would be a shame if she wasn't. Vanessa followed behind her, desperate to flaunt Jonas in front of Garrett like a flamboyant chicken. She had invited Dan to come with her, and she was expecting him to be not too far behind.
Addyson had wanted to see her brother drunk for so long, that she couldn't resist. She was now helping Alec set up some cables for the lights, and had grabbed a few strobe lights from a cardboard box she had brought.
"Woah, woah, woah. Guys, what is this?" Garrett asked, standing up and holding his arms out in an attempt at pausing their current set up. He was so confused, and had literally now idea how any of them had gotten permission to come into his cabin.

Addyson grinned. "Probably not," she shrugged, sliding her tongue over her teeth. "But who cares?" she showed her teeth this time, and took a swig of beer. She walked away to go socialize and perhaps spy on her eventually drunk brother.
Garrett gave Blair an apologetic smile, and went off to address this issue. He, of course, wasn't really going to address it. He brought the bottle to his lips and let the acidic liquid numb his senses for a while.
Vanessa was grinding up all over Jonas, and Jonas was just kind of uncomfortably taking it.

((SLIDEY RED PHONE. <33333 I love that imaginary phone. That's what I used to call the police when all the bodies (you included) dropped dead. :D))
Bella jumped when her cell phone vibrated against her thigh. She dug through her pocket for the shiny blue cased phone and squinted her eyes against the darkness. Bring booze? Sounds like fun, Bella thought as she stuffed herself into her car and drove to the nearest ABC liquor store. She brought her fake ID out of her wallet and gave it to the man up front, buying three bottles of scotch, a 32 pack of beer, and a few bottles of tonic. She gave the man a smile and he let her go without a hassle. She arrived at the campgrounds within minutes and drove up to cabin number eight, where she found Blair waiting outside seemingly waiting for her. "Whose party is this?" Bella asked as she unloaded the car.
Claire caught Alec staring at Addy's butt, her innocence making this scene very uncomfortable. She didn't dare say anything, just kind of tried not to look. She'd known Alec for a long time; she should be used to this by now.

((xD))
Bella snorted and coughed at the same time just then, resulting in a weird mix of disbelief and laughter. "That's...amazing," she said, bringing the booze in the cabin.
Claire shoved the alcohol away. "No thanks, Alec," she giggled politely. She was never the party girl all of her other friends were. She smiled at her friend, trying to relieve the awkwardness she felt by rejecting the cup.
Garrett almost joined Rose, as he was now a bit tipsy and always took the opportunity to dance a little wilder than he normally would.
Vanessa's jaw dropped. Was Rose really taking her song? She considered throwing her off the dancefloor before remembering that she was better.

Vanessa responded with a look of disgust. She turned her head and growled, though it's not like anyone could hear her over the loud roar of the music and chatter. She left Jonas standing there, still feeling awkward over there.
Bella trotted over to Jay, wondering if this was his cabin he'd rented. She dropped the 32 pack on the drink table, as well as the tonic and scotch. "What kind of party is this?" she asked, looking around. "And if you say orgy party I will slap you," she warned.
Claire shook her head. "Not really. She's Garrett's ex, you know. So it's awkward," she said, adjusting her glasses so they were no longer crooked. She made some weird half-smile as she watched Rose hog the floor.

"Sure," Claire said, relieved. It was too hot in here with everyone dancing on each other and she couldn't take it. She grabbed Alec's wrist and shot out the door and onto the porch, where a pretty porch swing was dangling on one side. She padded over to it and sat down, her red cheeks slowly becoming a more natural, ivory tone.
Garrett grinned, but even drunk he knew this wasn't right. He hadn't seen Bella or Blair walk in, so he just kind of stepped a few feet away and started dancing by himself.
Bella's jaw dropped comically. "Oh?" she murmured, paying more attention to Garrett than anything else.

((Hmm...Idek. INTERNETZ. We need an epic kiss with some people.))
Claire shrugged. "Nothing really. I'm about to send in my med school application," she said happily. She was excited for leaving behind high school and moving into adulthood. She rocked the swing back and forth, smiling. "What's up with you? I haven't really talked to you recently," she said.
Garrett hooted and pulled up to the dance floor, ready to dance. Naturally, Vanessa followed, leaving Jonas again in an awkward position. Jonas shoved his hands in his pockets, thinking he should leave.
Bella sighed. "He's just so irritating, dammit!" she vented. Her nostrils flared as she ran a hand through her vermilion colored hair. She looked away, not really wanting to watch but a the same time desperately wanting to.

((Sophia and Real Garrett. How nice))
Bella almost laughed as loud as an elephant would. She knew Blair couldn't dance. Maybe some liquid courage would make her unstoppable. She held a hand over her mouth and pulled out her phone, ready to capture the moment and post it on YouTube.
Jonas was about to say something when a flashlight was shone on Blair. He shyly stepped away and let her dance, knowing as well this would end up...interestingly. His girlfriend versus his first love. Surely interesting.
Claire nodded, sincerely happy for Alec. "Congratulations!" shouted quietly, leaning over to hug him. It was easier to hug him now because he didn't stop at her boob anymore.

((Aside from Ben. And Garrett is my best friend-ish! He tells me everything, plus I'm his messenger with Makenna. And he buys me things. :3))
Claire nodded, pulling away and resting her hands on her lap. "True," she said thoughtfully. "Anything else new?" she asked.
Bella bit her lip so as not to ruin the video, but inside she was dying.
Vanessa's jaw dropped, having a clue about what she was talking about but pretending she didn't. She pushed Blair to the side and started twerking furiously.

((Haha...?))
Bella was practically holding her breath. This was too much. She looked away so she wouldn't disturb the taping.
Claire shrugged. "It's cool. We've all been busy," she delivered with a smile, as always.
Vanessa, who was drunk as a skunk, began laughing and once again pushed her off the stage. She started doing the chicken dance out of pure confusion. What dance was what?

((We are.))
Claire laughed, obviously taking this as a joke. Alec had always been like this with everyone; it didn't surprise her he still acted like it.
Vanessa growled and butt-bumped Blair, taking over by doing the YMCA and grinding against nothing. Her eyes were closed as if she were really into it.

Bella burst into a fit of silent, I-need-air giggles.
Claire nodded. "Yeah. Plus, no one is falling into you every two seconds," she snorted.
Vanessa started to Spongebob, but she tripped and doubled over, but unfortunately got back up and started randomly hip thrusting.

Claire laughed. "Well then go back in there!"
Vanessa was just flat out on the floor at this point.
