Apparently I am VERY DEDICATED to this show.
Also very stubborn.

About what I expected!!! ;) I picked it because I thought it sounded SO DIFFERENT and it would be really fun to do something that wasn't just a strict novel. But it's not exactly a fun book to read. Thoreau's a yawn, I SAID IT.

So last night I got to the "Visitors" chapter in which he claims a) he could comfortably fit 25-30 people in his cabin and b) it is pleasant to talk to people from across the pond. I have BEEN THERE and I contend that he is JUST LYING on both counts. Crazy man.
I bought it when I was about 11-12 because there was a Walden quote in the tv show "Little Men" that I completely fell in love with but I gave up on it pretty quickly… Lately, I've been tempted to try it again (because of Classic Alice of course) but I haven't got round to it yet...
I had to read several chapters of Walden for an American Lit class in college. It went completely over my head, but I managed throw in enough key words into my essay to pass the lesson. :-/
