Stef (buch_ratte) | 7 comments I especially like the books by Helene Hanff and the book Old Books, Rare Friends Two Literary Sleuths and Their Shared Passion by Madeline B. Stern and Leona Rostenberg.

Okay, I have to admit I read those books mainly because they are books about books and secondarily because they are set in New York City. I am just a crazy girl who loves books and New York City.

Stef (buch_ratte) | 7 comments I just read The Red Leather Diary Reclaiming a Life Through the Pages of a Lost Journal by Lily Koppel. Great book, very interesting. Is about a girl who grew up in New York City in the 20s and 30s of the last century.
