Lilith's Brood is of course awesome.I think I've already done more than my share of nominating while I typically only read the short fiction nominated by others... which strikes me as kind of unfair.
If you want more short fiction suggestions though, I could send a few your way.
Oh, and if you want to open it up to slightly different things, here's a group-topical webcomic: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I guess I just couldn't stop myself from making a nom. :-)
Thanks for the input! Outis, Dicebox looks great and I love the idea of a webcomic! How does this look:
September: Lilith's Brood
October: Dicebox (starts here: http://www.comic.dicebox.net/comic/wa...)
November: The Children Star
December: The Handmaid's Tale
January: Halfway Human
February: Regenesis
March: Walk to the End of the World
Thoughts?
Also perhaps A Brother's Price? It makes an interesting companion piece to The Silent City. (Although it isn't science-fiction but rather fantasy.)
That looks really good! Maybe we'll keep it on deck for next spring? If everyone is ok with this list I'll set them up as future reads.
There's also Octavia's Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Justice Movements which looks really good!

I definitely want to nominate Octavia's Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Justice Movements!!
