Hey Christina :) Are you about ready to start this? It works for Bingo and I thought I might read it. There's really no rush though! I have about 5 other books picked out too, lol. If you thought you might start this in the next couple of days then I'll save it for Bingo, otherwise I'll pick something else for now :)

I'm currently reading 2 books so I won't start this one until I finish up those. I can always just add my two cents when I get to it if you want to go ahead and start it. Either way will work for me.

I'm a fickle creature! I picked for Bingo and started listening to something else, lol. I think I'll try to get to it this weekend though.

I just started this tonight. I'm 22% into it and Carrow just had her first encounter with Malkom. Was pretty hairy there for a minute (view spoiler)[ it looked as if there was going to be a rape scene in the book. Yikes! Glad it wasn't a complete rape even though what Malkom did to Carrow could be taken as a type of rape. (hide spoiler)]

I'll try to read as much as possible tomorrow but I have a library book due back on Monday which I'm only 30% done with. LOL

I was able to listen to most of this yesterday at work. I'm up to chapter 32 now.

That was pretty hairy! Too close! And still a violation. He even broke her wrist. Not really a good start for them.

It's been months (Nov. 2014) since I read the last book... Anyways, I was a little surprised about the kidnappings. I remembered the name Declan Chase but not that he was kidnapping and torturing immortals. He had quite a few big names in his dungeons! This is my FWYS series for August so hopefully I'll get caught up and not forget things, lol!

Spoilers for later- up to chapter 32. I can't remember exactly since I can't get on GR while at work. Sorry! I didn't think I would be able to listen to that much at work.

Back at the cave- How sad was it that he burned his hand just so she would touch him. Poor Malcolm. Of course, he keeps biting her and 'leaking' on her leg...

The bath scene- aside from his caveman ways, that was pretty hawt :) I guess he cleaned up well because she seems to be over the whole almost rape thing, lol. And it's usually the women who are the inexperienced virgins!

One thing that sort of bugs me about Romance books with a virgin h/H... How is it that they always seem to be the most amazing at oral sex/sex? I guess it's more of the feelings between the 2 people than actually being the best, but still...

Even later- She saves him from the Demons and turns him over to Declan Chase. Of course he double crossed her, duh! What's she going to do now? He feels betrayed by her (and rightly so) and is going to make her pay! By withholding her orgasms I'm sure, lol.

I'm ready for Lothaire's book! I've been wanting to get to that as soon as he was first introduced. Soon. Soon. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished this. After that rocky start, I ended up really really liking it! Not quite 5 stars but there were parts of it that were.

(view spoiler)[ I loved loved Malcolm and Ruby together. It was so sweet and cute! And when he claimed them as his family, not just Carrow, yep I forgave his Monster introduction!

The other thing that I really liked was that Carrow really didn't deny/fight him on their mating bond. I mean, I know in the beginning she did but it wasn't a denial so much as self preservation because she was going to betray him. Usually, there's half a book of denial as far as the bond goes. She wanted him, she warmed up to the idea of keeping him and then she fought for him. Bravo!

I wasn't a very good Buddy with this one :( I usually try to make a lot more comments. Sorry about that! This is my FWYS series for August though, so I plan on reading as many as I can to get caught up. Besides, Lothaire is coming up and I really want his book, lol. (hide spoiler)]
