I've read four books by Rick Bragg and find him delightful to read. I am still hoping to read The Redbird and The Jerry Lee Lewis books , if time ever permits!!
I have read the first two books of his family trilogy as well as the Jerry Lee book. I enjoyed all of them. I hope to get to the others at some point.
I wish he'd put together a collection of the essays he's written for Southern Living magazine. I really enjoy those.
Camie, he writes a monthly column for them. It's always on the last page of each issue. Usually funny and/or poignant, about being a Southerner, and his Momma gets mentioned in a lot of them.

I like those too. My mom and I share a subscription to SL and she saves his essays in a folder.
