The time at the apartment had been pretty interesting if Jae was being honest with himself. Seeing the girls get to know each other, and then him and Noah just hanging out and pretty much spectating. They'd had to end things by afternoon though since he and Ava had a project that they needed to work on. It would seem that the 'project' was going to be a bit harder than it looked. Ava was a... well the best way to put it was, spirited girl. She certainly had her own opinions, and voiced them boisterously. Jae didn't know what was going to come out of her mouth next, and half the time he found himself smiling, just a little bit, when she spoke. It was hard for him to keep his bad boy, sullen, persona, when she was around. He glanced at her then, they were near the Eiffel tower, wondering where their next photo should be taken. It was going to be the first kissing one that they'd taken, his stomach was turning lips, but he looked calm and cool on the outside. "So, you decided where we're going to do this thing Irish?"
He wanted to kiss her, and she could tell. Jae kept talking about how one of their photos would have to be of a kiss, but Ava was terribly nervous. She'd never kissed anyone before, and had put off his particular shot for as long as she could, but they only had one left, as the sun was setting and she was getting pretty hungry from running around with Jae all day long. "Uhhh... I dunno." She said quietly, very unlike her. But how could she think of a spot to kiss Jae? She'd wanted to kiss him before, but wanting to kiss and actually kissing are two totally different things. So unrelated, in fact, that Ava knew she was in uncharted territory with Jae. "Here's good I guess. I mean, the tower and stuff." She said, gesturing lamely to the Eiffel Tower that was just behind them. She looked up at Jae with nervous green eyes and but down on her lip for a moment "You're not actually going to kiss me, right? Like we can put our mouths close but we don't actually have to...." Ava made hand gestures that were supposed to symbolize making out "...you know?" She murmured anxiously, watching his lips instead of his eyes.
The normally overzealous, Irish girl was being awfully quiet, and her cheeks bloomed pink. Jar rose a brow, curious as to her thoughts. She wasn't giving off her usual confident vibe, instead she was making him feel protective, he had the inkling to hug her. Why though? Jae soon found out the reasoning as she stumbled over her words while asking about the kiss. The smile that broke out over his face was pure man, he nodded his head to the older couple that were taking the picture for them. His hands shot out as he grabbed her and pulled her tightly against him. There was no space between. their bodies, he reached beneath her chin and tilted her face up with one finger, so that she was forced to look up at him. God's she was beautiful, her innocent, nervous, expression only made her all the more irresistible. "Irish," The whisper came out just before his lips slanted over hers, touching hers more tenderly than he'd ever kissed someone before. It was all downhill from there, it was like he was falling, the feelings he had while kissing her were overwhelming.
Ava was terrified at the idea of kissing Jae, and had an idea to leave, to run away, make an excuse not to take the picture. But the elderly woman was ready and grinning, and when Ava finally peeked up at Jae, she realized that he was, too. He was grinning and excited and looking at her like she was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen. Everything else happened fat too fast, and when Jae pulled Ava against him, she gasped softly, never having been so close to a boy before. And then he was kissing her, kissing her so lovingly that Ava forgot that she was kissing a boy, forgot that she was kissing Jae, of all people. His lips were soft and caring against hers, and Ava kissed him back willingly, eventually wrapping her arms around his neck and holding on tightly. She didn't want it to stop, didn't want Jae to let go of her. She'd rather stay there forever, his lips feeling so amazing against hers. She never would've expected to want Jae, but at that moment, she wanted him more than anything in the whole world.
Her lips were soft, moist, enticing, Jae was lost in the kiss. Why was it that this girl could overtake him so easily? Her arms slipped up around his neck, and it took everything in him to hold back a pleased sound. He couldn't let her know how much she effected him, that would be his downfall, if he did. Because a girl having control over you? That was the worst, at least in his experience. They could control you an- Jae's thoughts were cut off as their tongues met, hell. Jae's arms were snug around her waist, her arms tightly against his neck, the two looked like they'd been dating a while, and were deeply in love, from the outside. Jae eventually had to break the kiss, but it was completely against his will. The only reason he even broke the kiss was because he heard some 'ooh' and 'ahhhs' from a crowd around them, that had apparently gathered while the two were caught up in one another. Jae still held Ava against him, and that protective instinct crept upon him once again as he saw a few tourists taking pictures. "Hey," He spoke with a hint of anger in his tone, "Find something else to ogle at," with that, Jae went in for one more swift kiss, took Ava by the hand, gathered their camera, and pulled the Irish girl after him down the street, away from the onlookers. "People should just mind their own business, can't they let people just have a moment to themselves?" He was muttering to himself, annoyed at the interruption.
The kiss was more than she ever would've expected. Ava was standing on her tip toes to reach his mouth, something that made her wish she'd worn wedges, and her mouth was just morphed with his in that moment, sharing his breath and hearing her heartbeat hammer in her ears. She was sure Jae could hear it too. Once Ava was getting used to the feel of the kiss, that's when she tasted his tongue, and the small moan that slipped from her throat made her cheeks blossom a dark red. So kissing really was good, as good as everyone said it was. She wanted it to go on forever, but all too soon Jae pulled his lips from hers and started talking angrily to someone beyond Ava's care. She was in a daze, not even paying attention to the tourists or whoever they were. She was in a post-kiss dreamland, just staring at Jae with a lovely look of happiness. He kissed her again, but quickly, and then started to drag her away. It was only when he spoke again that Ava actually understood. "Oh..uh..yeah." She agreed lamely, but she wasn't really listening to Jae. She was watching his lips move, but not really hearing him. She managed to walk a couple yards with jae, around a few corners and to a quieter spot, but Ava had the overwhelming urge to pull him close, so she did. Her arms wrapped around him and she tugged him close, her eyes staring up into his. "That was really nice..." She said, looking a little bashful but very excited "Can we keep going?" Ava asked, biting down on her lip in anticipation.
They slowed down near the corner of a building, Jae looked a bit flustered, his nerves were all over the place, and he was trying himself back in. When he didn't have control, well that never went well with him. He glanced down, his eyes warm, at Ava, she asked if they could keep going, and the innocence in her gaze, the wanting in her eyes, it about did him in. Jae gripped his arms gently, he leaned in and brushed her lips gently with his before leaning back against the building behind him, he pulled her against him, just to lean there, his arms wrapped around her in a comforting way. "Yes it was very nice," He muttered, "It also about killed me." Jae set his chin on top of her head, like they'd done this a million times. "Why in blue hells do you effect me so, Irish? I've never met a girl that can knock me off my game so much, without even trying," Amazement sounded in his husky voice as he spoke.
Ava had to fight back a smile when Jae pressed his lips swiftly against hers again. She didn't know if she could ever get enough of it. It was like he was a drug, and the second his lips touched hers, she was hooked. Ava would've looked up at him and stared into his eyes for ages, but then he was leaning his head on hers, and Ava burrowed into the crook of his neck. She tried to think of what Olivia would've done, if she were in that situation. But Ava could already feel her heart beating a thousand beats a minute just laying her head against his neck. She'd never been that close to someone before, never felt the connection she was feeling so strongly. "You think you're confused?" She asked, holding on tightly to Jae "I've never even been kissed before, and now I'm falling for the guy I thought I didn't even like." Ava confessed, her eyes peeking up at him, quite timidly.
The thought of having taken her lips for the first time, well it honestly gave Jae a sense of proud, and made him feel even more connected with the girl than before. He doubted that he'd ever been someones first kiss, hell he didn't even remember who his own first kiss was. Noah probably did, that innocent little panda, he remembered things like that. Jae doubted he would ever forget this kiss though, the one with Ava, it was different than any other kiss he'd had. "Well Irish, you just keep me on your lips, you'll never desire anyone else," Jae was teasing.. or was he? The thought of her kissing someone else, well it didn't bode well with him. Jae went in for another light kiss, their lips moving against each other much softer than before, not in so much a frenzy, but more of an exploration. A hand went to her cheek, his fingertips brushing her hairline, her hair felt like silk, and he knew that he could lose his hands in her hair for days, if she let him.
Ava had never seen Jae look so happy before. He was proud of himself and excited to be holding her and over the moon to be kissing her. She'd never noticed his dimples before, but once she saw them, she was glad Jae was keeping her upright, since she felt like feinting. He was so awful but so perfect, so agonizing but so amazing. How did he do it? She stopped to listen when he started to mutter back, and Ava felt a swarm of butterflies in her stomach. He wanted to keep kissing her. For a long time, from how his comment was worded. "I don't think I'll have any trouble. Are you sure you won't get sick of me?" She asked. In her mind she was fooling around, but her heart knew that she really did need an answer to the question. It became hard to focus when Jae leaned closer, and by the time his fingers brushed into her hair, she was a goner. Ava tugged him close with her arms wrapped around his neck, tipping her head to the side and exploring Jae's lips, getting to know every delicious inch of them.
If he tired of her, well they would deal with that when it came to it. Jae wasn't the type to cheat, so if she did become tiresome, then he'd break it off and move on. (They're going to have to have an epic breakup at some point, but get back together >.>) Right then he wasn't going to worry about it though, her arms were warm against his neck, it felt right, her lips pushed against his, not harshly, but more sensually than he could have imagined. Jae growled slightly as he continued to kiss her, his more primal side coming out without his permission. Jae's breathing became labored as they continued to get to know one another with their mouths. His hands weren't still either as they kissed, they wandered through her hair, down to her slender neck, and her shoulders, where he held her as they kissed. Eventually they stopped, but he had no idea how much time had passed before they ceased the kissing and just leaned their foreheads against one another. "Maybe we should go somewhere public, before we do something we shouldn't," Jae's voice was husky, it was taking everything in him to stay the gentleman he knew he should be. There was no way he was going any further in what was more like an alleyway than a street. He took her hand in his once again, and led her towards the way they'd come. All thoughts of their project gone far from his head, and only Ava in its place.
All of the kisses made Ava feel invincible. She felt like she was on top of the world, in total control, nothing could hurt her when her mouth was melding with Jae's. The sound he made caused her to gasp softly, breaking the kiss for a moment just because of how the intensity shocked her. But she didn't linger for long, and instead dove back into kissing him, getting lost in the act itself and wondering if she would ever come up for air. It was Jae that eventually broke the connection, talking about going somewhere more public and trying to control himself. But Ava really didn't want him to. It was all so exciting and energizing, she wanted to experience even more. "Oh, yeah, probably." She agreed, letting Jae lead her through crowds and streets. "Or, I mean, we could always just...not go somewhere more public. Or go crazy. I mean, we could go somewhere more private instead?" Ava suggested, her cheeks a bright pink as she spoke and her eyes daring to meet his so he would know that she meant it.
The little minx was going to make him lose his mind, she was actually suggesting that they go to a more private setting, alone. Jae almost gaped at her, almost, instead he put on a cool look, determined to scare her off of such things. "You know what Irish? Yeah I think that's an excellent idea," Jae tucked her in, against his side, his arm around her waist as he did. "We could go back to my place in fact, my father won't be home anytime soon, and we can just spend the rest of the afternoon there, as well as the night. There's no reason for you to go back home tonight, right?" He sounded positively jolly about the whole thing, and cool at the same time, "I have a whole box of condoms back at my place, so there won't be any need for us to stop at a pharmacy for that," He didn't even falter or blink as he spoke, "We could stop by one of those specialty shops though? If you want, we could get you some lingerie, and maybe a toy?" Jae nodded his head, "Yeah I think that would be a splendid idea, good thinking Irish." Yes he was being an ass, but he saw it as he was doing her a favor.
As soon as he agreed to go somewhere more private, Ava felt a fluttering in her chest. It was scary to her, the idea of being absolutely alone and kissing like that. But she knew she would be alright, because as much as liked to pretend she hated Jae, he was the only one in Paris she felt really comfortable with lately. Soon enough she was being squished against his side and Ava was quite happy, nuzzled close and walking so near to him. She nodded at the thought of relaxing back at his place, and was about to suggest they order in from her new favorite pizza place, when he kept chatting about her spending the night. Her brows scrunched together and she shook her head "No I can't do that, I need to be back at the hotel by eleven." She muttered, and went on to be more and more confused as Jae went on. Condoms? Ava went bright red at the suggestion of them needing condoms, and she stopped walking to turn and look at Jae, trying to see if he was joking or not. But the look on his face was genuine. To make it worse, he brought up lingerie and sex toys, offering to go shopping for them in preparation for their night in. It was all too much for Ava, and she felt anger and confusion swirl in her head as he looked back to her. Ava felt overwhelmed and upset, her eyes cloudy with tears as she looked at Jae. "I'm sorry.... I didn't mean... I thought you liked me for more than that." She said softly, er tone almost whispering as she searched his eyes for the look he'd been giving her just moment before. The tender, sweet one. Not this cocky asshole.
He wasn't sure how everything was going to play out, but he knew that he had to do what was best for Ava, and in his mind, this was it. To crush her like he did though, well it crushed him as well, the thought of her hating him, well, it made him sick to his stomach. It was too late by that point though, what was done was done, and there was no going back. Her eyes were watery, and her face crumpled, he could see the disappointment clear in her eyes. Jae's heart clenched, it felt like someone had a vice grip on it and wouldn't let go, he had to struggle to look calm and collected, really he just wanted to fall to his knees and grab at his chest. Jae rose a brow lazily, "Did you think that we would just kiss and instantly be in love? That I would sweep you off your feet and be gentle and nice? That I wouldn't try to take advantage of you?" Every word was ground out, because he was so disgusted with himself for even saying such things, Jae took a deep breath, "Look Irish, we can either continue to be friends, and do our best to ignore this thing between us, or we can have nothing to do with each other. But you can't just trust any guy you kiss, you need to know that there are dangerous guys out there." I'm not one of them, is what he wanted to say to her, his eyes softened and all he wanted to do in that moment was to hug her and hold her close.
She tried to reign in her em epitome, but it was getting hard for Ava to swallow the tears she was itching to cry. Jae was acting like she was a naive little girl, like she was stupid for hoping for an emotional relationship with him. She felt completely idiotic for trusting him, her mind running over all the things he'd done to her. Yelled at her in front of everyone, embarrassed her in class, sent her mixed signals, tried to control her. But in the past 24 hours, he'd tried to be nice, and had danced with her all night, and had been there for her when she'd needed him. He'd tricked her, and Ava was naive for falling for it. "You're right." Ava cut him off, turning away quickly so Jae wouldn't see her crying "It's my mistake... I don't know what I was thinking... I'll go now." She said, hastily dropping her head and stalking away. She'd just wasted her first kiss, and with the disappointment she was feeling, the tears started to roll down her cheeks. Ava was angry and sad and wishing she could redo the last half an hour, wished she could take it all back. She was just glad that Jae couldn't see he tears, or at least, she hoped he couldn't.
(AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
She was mad, upset, pissed, disappointed, it was obvious, she showed her emotions openly on her beautiful face. It was like he'd torn her apart, Jae's mouth opened, as if he was going to say something, but she went and walked away from him. Jae ran a hand, frustrated, through his hair, debating internally on how to make the next move. He could just let her go, and let her be safe, far from his hands, and hopefully anyone else's. Or he could go after her and- and what? Jae shook his head, unable to decide on what to do in that moment. The seconds ticked away into minutes, finally Jae took off, at first at a fast walk, then a jog, and soon he was full out running after the Irish girl that had him hooked from the moment they'd met. "Irish," He called out when he caught sight of her around a corner, but then she was gone around that corner, he urged his own feet to go faster, he turned the corner, grabbing onto the building to give him momentum. Jae caught up to her soon, breathless, and looking unsure, for probably the first time in his life since he was a toddler. Jae gently touched her shoulder, but quickly dropped his hand, not wanting her to get further upset than she already was, with his touch though she turned some, and he found the tears on her face to be too much. Jae reached out and crushed her to his chest, holding her so tight it was a wonder if she could breathe. "Miene, Miene," Sorry, Sorry, He whispered in Korean, "I really am sorry. I just know I'm not good for you." He barely got the words out, his own throat choking up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho32O...

The streets of Paris were blurred to Ava as she walked briskly away from Jae. She felt like she was in some dramatic movie that was only filmed on black and white, where the dejected woman would fall into a handsome stranger and be saved. But she should've known better than to expect a new stranger. While the tears ran down her cheeks, she made her way towards the hotel, and soon felt a touch on her shoulder. She hoped suddenly for someone she knew-- maybe Aden and Phe or her parents. But when she turned to look, Ava only found Jae, looking guilty. She hastily tried to dry her tears "What do you wa-" she began, but was cut off when Jae grabbed her and pulled her against his chest. She was shocked for a moment, and at first, Ava laid complacently against him, taking in the comfort she'd wanted, and was denied, just minutes ago. Soon enough, though, her mind started to work, and at his confession, she tugged free of his arms. "You don't get to decide what's good for me!" She huffed, grabbing onto his arm and pulling him towards an alleyway, simply for privacy. "People are always making decisions for me and I'm so sick of it!" She said, her eyes rimmed lightly with red and her nose slightly stuffed up. "If you don't want to date me, then say it. But don't act like you're doing me a favor by playing with my emotions." Ava told him, or, she tried to. Her voice was watery the whole time and she still felt like crying, but she much preferred he strong facade she was giving off, so she kept her hands curled into fists at her sides and her green eyes looking stern.
She was still in his arms for a few moments, and he reveled in the warmth of her, the body against his, one that fit so right against his. However the moment did not last long, she was soon pulling away and dragging him into an alley way. Ava wasn't going to just let him hold her, or to get away with what he said. "I-" Jae stopped as she went on, the frustration, and hurt, evident. Small cars passed by behind Ava, people walked past, pretending to not see the pair there. Jae didn't know what to say or do to make things right, he felt like he'd totally screwed up helping Ava. It even seemed as if he'd triggered a situation that came up a lot in her life and had thus upset her more than intended. Jae held up both hands, as if in surrender, "I get what you're saying. But I swear I was just trying to protect you," Jae let his hands fall to his sides and took note of her curled up fists, she looked so fierce, yet fragile at the same time in that moment. "Look Irish, Ava, I do.... I don't know," Jae rubbed his neck for a moment, trying to get the words out, "You've had me interested from day one, I just don't know how to handle it all." There, honesty, maybe that would help things, though he doubted it. He'd obviously put his foot in his mouth, and it was going to be hard fixing the situation.
Ava's cheeks burned red while Jae tried to defend himself. There was no way to redeem what he'd done. He'd made her feel stupid and toyed with her, tried to make her sad and succeeded. Jae's excuses were absolute garbage, and she hated them as much as she hated how stupid she'd been before. "Well that's not really my job to figure out, Jae." She said, crossing her arms. "I'll lay it out for you-- I like you. I like your stupid cocky attitude and I like hanging out with you and I like challenging you. And I thought kissing you was nice." Ava told him, her eyes challenging. At that point, her tears were dry, and her arms crossed over her chest. She was standing with one hop popped to the side, looking confident as well as tired. "The ball's in your court." Ava turned on her heel and started to am saunter away. "Get back to me when you've made a decision!" She called over her shoulder, trying to look composed. What she really needed was a milkshake and a fluffy blanket, and maybe to cuddle up and watch Netflix.
It was a wonder how fast this little girl went from sad, sweet, fragile, and then went to this fiery, strong, willful nymph that drew him in like bee to honey. She told him straight up how she felt, and what she thought, which was refreshing as hell. Jae felt like he'd seriously found someone that he couldn't live without, but now wasn't the time to tell her. His little bad ass was having her moment, and he'd let her have it, even if it did kill his pride. "You got it Irish," His reply was sincere, he watched the swing of her hips as she walked away as cocky as he usually did. A smile crept up on him, and he walked away with a sense of ease, instead of nervousness, as he probably should. Before I met you girl, I never knew that my heard could dance, the lyrics played through his head as he walked back towards his own place. Jae shook his head at himself, Noah was never going to believe the afternoon he'd had with the Irish princess, it was one he wouldn't forget. The streets of Paris continued with their traffic, with people running errands, relaxing, tourists admiring the beautiful city, Jae was awed that time didn't stand still for them, like it did for him.
