Trinity Could somebody explain the importance of this novel, Hate List, thank you :)

Also, what are your critical reviews and opinions about this novel?

(I need to read a novel that has an importance to it, and I would like to see your thoughts about it. It's okay if you give away spoilers!)

Patrice Lavandero This could show how you should be sensitive to ones feelings especially to a person who is being bullied horribly in your school.
Sometimes, You should thing about their point of view and also there is more :D

Barbara This should be required reading in my opinion. I love it in that it gives the other point of view, that the one being mocked has feelings and thoughts and has worth, too.

Madi A lot of people say that this book is about bullying. And it is, but that's not the only thing. It's also about love, and how even if someone does something awful, you can still love them because of how they are around you, and how they have impacted your life in positive way. I'm sure everyone has something else going on in their life that you can't see. Even your best friends have secrets, dark thoughts that they can't share with anyone because no one else will understand. Before you ever judge anyone, remember that there IS something you can't see, and even though it doesn't excuse them for their actions, it can help you understand them.

Personally, I loved this book. It was a great inside view about so many things, especially recipients of harsh treatment. There's so many things that I could say about the book to try to convince you to read it, but it's really your choice. Honestly, I think you should read it, because it gives insight to how the real world works, not the one we like to believe in.

Molly This book had so much potential as a hot topic for people to educate themselves on, but it was so poorly written I couldn't even get through it. There are other books out there that explore the repercussions of how we treat people. I read the book by Jodi Picoult called Nineteen Minutes that is also about a school shooter who was driven to his actions by bullies, but it is executed so much more thoughtfully and skillfully. I would highly recommend that long before this book. Also Thirteen Reasons Why explores this topic, but from a suicide perspective rather than school shootings. There is also My Friend Dahmer, which is a graphic novel that explores Jeffrey Dahmer's childhood and tries to figure out how he came to be.

Donjc It's a good novel, but I don't bite it. It has potential, and I'm pretty sure for some people minds, or interest. They would love this art piece.
