About 20 years after Hotel Necropolis opened up, someone was murdered on the 10th floor. The murdered girl, Elaine Bellise, age 17, was found dead in her hotel room, shot in the heart. Many guests immediately left the hotel. An investigation was conducted, but nobody ever found out who killed her.

Over the next year and a half, 24 more people were murdered. Nobody knows by who. The few guests who actually stayed in the hotel after these murders took place reported strange things. Strange noises, objects moving around on their own, transparent people appearing and disappearing suddenly. The hotel was shut down. Recently, it was reopened by Lilac and Matthew Ceridwen.

But the ghosts that haunted the hotel in the past remain in the hotel. They mostly aimlessly wander around, since they can't hurt humans. The ghosts can still touch things, but as long as they're touching something, whatever they're touching can't make contact with anything else. The ghosts have never harmed anyone, just spooked out the guests. They can also speak to the guests whenever they please.
