I still find the romance and the tone in general to be the better aspects of the book so far. But I'm happy to see the other plot line making some progress. Because I am curious to see where Carriger is going to take things.

Yes! Agree about the romance it's honestly all I care about right now. But I do get Clockwork Angel vibes from this book too. I have a theory that in 99% sure is right so we shall see!

Agreed with Clockwork Angel vibes- so far I like the dialogue and writing style. It is hilarious! I will admit to liking CW Angel more though.
