Also, I've posted some short stories on my blog. There's one about Liam, and another about Tristan and Trey.

Sneak peek at a small bit I'm adding in. :)
Hamíd was a bit overwhelmed at the sight of the army awaiting them. Thousands of men were encamped on the plains around the road. They threaded through the mazes of tents and myriad banners of other lords. Hamíd caught himself looking for the leopard of Balkor’s house. Confrontation would be unavoidable in Rishdah’s presence. He wasn’t sure that even with his training and relative freedom he’d be ready to face the man again.
“He’s not here.” Emeth nudged Narak alongside him. “I heard Rishdah ask.”
Hamíd turned his gaze to where Rishdah rode a few lengths away, still unfamiliar with someone looking out for him. He noticed for the first time the occasional glances Azrahil and Nicar tipped back to him and where Ahmed closed the distance between them when there was room. The weight had been lifted by Emeth’s words and his companions gave him more room as he relaxed. He turned to thank Emeth, but the Braeton just nodded and flicked Narak away.
Thoughts??

Just tiny bits here and there to add some more depth to characters. :)
And as of right now, the covers are staying the same.

I like it! I truly loved your Rise of Aredor series, and am glad to see that you are re-publishing them. I've had someone ask me what was going on when they went to buy a copy and couldn't.
Thanks, Karis!!
I'm hoping to get them republished this summer, but it will more likely be early fall by the time it's all said and done.
Also, I'm considering having a few beta readers for the new versions just to make sure everything still flows. Something y'all would be interested in?

I would love to help you that way, Claire!

Here's another fun new snippet. :)
Corin strode down a corridor and descended the steps into the dungeons. No guards were in sight. He’d spent hours over the last few days refreshing his memories of the castle with Martin. Their youthful escapades hadn’t often led them to this part of the castle. Even with all his dreams of returning home, the kitchens and the dungeon hadn’t been the first place he’d thought to visit in Kingscastle. Coming to the third cell, he stopped. The occupant of the cell looked up as he approached.

But, yes, isn't that so exciting! I can't wait!
Hey, guys! I just finished the first round of edits! :) I'll be going through my last few notes and everything over the next few days, but I just wanted to go ahead and see who was still interested in beta-ing the new edition!
Email me at cmbanschbach@gmail.com
I'm hoping to get it out to readers at the end of the week.

What is the deadline to be done with the beta reading? I would love to do it, but might not have time . . .
End of May?
I'll most likely give a month from when I send it out. Will that be enough time for people?

Yes, that would work for me.

Yes, that sound terrific! I can't wait, Claire! *goes off to compose an email*
I just finished reading it for the third time and I'm so happy. There's something about this book that makes me irresistibly happy. Maybe it's Corin or maybe it's Martin. Idk. :P Or maybe it's literally everyone.
