Ummm...well...my answer sounds cruel and heartless. And I'm putting it all in spoilers just in case.

Oh well I wasn't really talking about that, I think that was perfect for the story. I was talking about the epilogue were Corin and Aiden both die. *sniff*
Ah, well, I've always loved hearing how great heroes (both real and fictional) die. Whether it be of old age or in battle, defending the helpless or some last stand. Corin and Aiden were a big part of my life for a long time, so I wanted to pay tribute to them and let everyone know the end of their story, since WoB is the last in the series.
Yay! I didn't realize there was a group for this series!! I think book 2 was definitely my favorite, although more of a tear-jerker, -- for sure! At the end, I was left in a puddle of tears, shouting "CLAIRE! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR CHARACTERS?!?!?!" LOL! I have since recovered, and hold no ill-will towards you, Claire. ;)
BTW, have you thought about writing a third book?
Hehe! Whew, glad you don't completely hate me. ;)
Not a technical third book, but I have a bunch of short stories about different characters that I would like to compile and publish. And I have some that I really want to write like Aiden meeting the original Emeth... :D. I had hoped to do that this year but the publisher for the books just closed and so I'll be working on republishing the books this summer and working on some other projects.
Also I have another book set in Cyndor during the time of the books that has Will in it. I have a few chapters written and it's something I'd like to get back to at some point.

Sounds really interesting! And I hope you get the issues with publishing worked out soon! Have you thought about Amazon CreateSpace? A lot of my author friends have had great success with it. :)
Thanks! Me too. :)
Yes! I used Amazon for the book I published last year and I was very happy with everything so I'm planning to use it again for the series. I've gotten some other publishing suggestions but I'll probably just use Amazon.

I was rather disappointed when I finished the series. I mean, I thought it would be a trilogy, one book for each friend, Emeth, Corin, and Ahmed :( But I loved the series! I read it out of order, something my little brother always teases me about. I actually managed to read them both during two separate promotional events when Claire let me read them free for reviews :) I'm just a broke teenage girl so that worked out really well for me :)

And I'm so grateful for the reviews!!!!
And a perk of republishing is that I'll be able to make the prices actually affordable...

That's true! I do hope to read a lot more by you as well! You have some interesting WIP's that I'm looking forward to reading. The Mountain Baron and The Wolf Prince are two that I can't wait to see published!
What is The Wolf Prince? I keep hearing things about it, and I read something about it. It sounded awesome! Is it going to be published?
Let me direct you to Clarie's website. She has a page I'll share the link to where she has all her WIP listed with descriptions. Also there's some excerpts you can check out too. Plus Claire just re-did how her website looks and that's worth checking out.https://clairembanschbach.wordpress.c...
Thanks, Karis!! I'm looking forward to sharing The Mountain Baron with everyone at some point. :)
@serena482 - glad you're interested in The Wolf Prince! I'm getting close to finishing draft 1! I have an editor lined up for it in September, so I'm hoping to publish November-ish *fingers crossed*

Exciting! I find it amazing that you still make time to write with your busy schedule. *shakes head in disbelief*
Hehe! Sometimes I'm amazed too. :) I challenged myself to write at least 100 words/day this month. I've only missed a few days since I started the challenge, but the forced consistency has really helped. :) Even if a lot of the time it means not starting writing until 11 pm. *shakes head*
That sound like a challenge! Which one are you working on writing right now? I hope you keep it up, so the rest of the world and I will be able to read some of these books you've been teasing us with tidbits about.

I'm working on The Wolf Prince right now. When I'm done with draft 1, I'll probably start working on some edits for The Rise of Aredor.

Okay! I'm really curious to see The Wolf Prince . It sounds extremely unique and I love the little excerpts that I've read so far.
Claire! I am currently recovering from the ending.
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??????

Haha! I'd love to read it! :) And speaking of, I have two short stories up on my blog - https://clairembanschbach.wordpress.c...
And just wrote one the other day that I'm probably going to release during the re-launch tour next week. It takes place like a week after the battle at the end of RoA and features Martin, Corin, Trey, and Gwilym! :)

Gwilym was the cutest! And Grampa Trey was hilarious! Cool, I'll check out. :)
*Seconds Sarah Grace's fangirling* Gwilym! I felt so badly for him after the battle... *heart shatters again* I can't wait to see that short! (Still it's always very hard to read about a character and seeing them joking around and laughing, knowing that they're going to die.) And I don't know if I've read the other two. I'll have to check them out!
