This complex is much more than any ordinary complex. It houses some of the most wealthy families in Paris. The lobby is large, and lavished with high end furniture, there are doormen to call cabs, or help with luggage, or just to hold the door open for its tenants. Security is well paid, and do their job well. If your family would like a place here, please comment in the Residence Request with the family name, it will be added to a list, here:

Chong Family
Kim Family

Jae got home that night, still Instagraming with Noah, as a matter of fact he fell asleep with his phone in hand. Jae woke to the phone buzzing in his hand, he lifted the phone to look at it, one eyed, and squinting, it was from Ava. Jae swiped the lock key and read the text messages coming in, then sighed as he stretched his limbs, the sheet was tangled up in his legs, so it took a moment for him to get situated, Jae texted her back, inviting her to his place. Apparently her dad was being a jerk, and making her scared, which honestly pissed Jae off, he hoped that she got out of there quick. Why was her dad wigging out so early? Jae groaned and threw his arm over his eyes, it was before noon, on a weekend, and he was awake. What the hell was going on? He was still fairly tired, and could barely open his eyes, Jae figured it would take at least half an hour for Ava to get there, and she knew the passcode to get in, so he slowly fell back to sleep with the sheet around his hips, his bare chest exposed as he slept, he had on a pair of sleep pants, and that was the extent of his clothing.

It hadn't taken Ava long to get ready, mostly because she barely cared about what she looked like. She had on last nights mascara, which seemed to be enough for her, so all she really did was brush her hair and teeth, grab Jae's leather jacket, slipped it onto her shoulders, and prayed to God that her eyes didn't look too red. She threw some clothes into her purse, so she wouldn't be stuck in pajamas all day, slipped on a pair of ballet flats, and then she was out the door. She got a cab to Jae's place, since she was still feeling very much exhausted. All she could think about was her father, and how quickly he assumed her to be a completely different person, just because of one silly little dress, one obviously aristocratic date. The whole idea that he thought she was like Olivia got her choked up again, and by the time she exited the cab, her eyes looked puffy and red around the edges, and the cab driver didn't even ask her to pay, and instead told her in French to feel better, then called her a sweetheart. Ava, being Ava, of course insisted on paying anyway, and then practically ran up to Jae's complex. It was really nice on the inside, and she used the security code to get inside. It wasn't hard to find Jae's room, since the door was open, and Ava stopped for a moment when she got inside, just to place her bag on the floor and take off her shoes. She hung Jae's jacket off of the mirror that she saw in the corner. Then she took a tiny running start and jumped onto the bed, where Jae was seemingly asleep.

The phone vibrated again and again in his hand, Jae made a disgruntled sound before peeking his eyes open to read the texts from Ava, he quickly texted her back and then set the phone on the nightstand beside his bed. Jae wasn't answering any more texts, he'd talk to her when she got there, maybe. He really wasn't all that awake, or a morning person, people were lucky he got up for school Monday through Friday. He heard the front door close downstairs and rolled over to his side, Irish must have made it to the penthouse. He didn't really hear any footsteps though, so he was a bit surprised when he felt the bed move because of a body flopping onto it. "Irish," He muttered, his eyes still closed as he turned to his back and winced some as his eyes opened. "Tell your father that from now on these wake up calls either need to happen the night before or in the afternoon, I need my beauty sleep," He was just grumbling to grumble, honestly Jae didn't mind her being there. Jae glanced her way, really looking, even though the room was kind of dark, he could make out the puffiness of her face, and her eyelashes were wet. Jae sat up, wordlessly, and pulled her into his arms before laying back down. He put her head on his chest and began stroking her hair, "Tell me everything, and cry your little heart out love," He told her in a more soothing tone, he had a fire in his chest right then, he honestly wanted to lay her father out for making her cry. It didn't matter what that man said about Jae, but there was no reason to make ones daughter cry, period.

Ava was trying to put on a brave face, and she thought she was doing pretty well. She smiled at Jae some when he turned to grumble at her, just because he looked sort of cue all rumpled up and bleary-eyed. He seemed much more human this way. "Morning," Ava said softly, but Jae wasn't going to let her just pretend everything was alright. Before she even knew what was going on, he was pulling her closer, until she was lying down next to him, her head against his chest. Just the action made Ava feel tears start to clog up her throat, but she didn't want to cry in front of Jae, what kind of girl would she be then? Ava didn't cry, Ava sucked things up and worked harder tiger through them. He was telling her to let it out, though, and smoothing her hair. She eventually couldn't even take it, and Ava let the tears fall, a hiccup sounding as the start of her sobbing. "He woke me up by slamming his way into the room, I wasn't even awake so I jumped and I almost ell out of bed, and he was screaming because he thought I was hiding a boy in the room, he saw your clothes from before the gala in the bathroom and he wouldn't listen when I promised him that I wouldn't do that. He was," Ava sniffed some, her arms around Jae's chest as if he were her lifeline. She was snuggled so close to him that his warmth was hers, too, and his calm was balancing the stress in her muscles "throwing things out of my closet, and looking under the bed because he thought I'd had some boy spend the night and he thought I was sleeping with someone and I tried to tell him but he just wouldn't listen, Jae." She whimpered, her tears smearing across Jae's bare chest "I ran into the bathroom and he said sorry because I guess he figured it out." Ava told him, her voice watery the whole time.

It seemed that she would just lay there on his chest, which was fine too, but it only took moments before she was crying, and trembling slightly in his arms. Jae went stock still when he felt the tears drop to his skin, she was crying, on him, and kind of because of him. Guilt tore through him, how could he have forgotten his things like that? It was careless, and it had gotten Ava in the predicament she was in. Still, her father overreacted, didn't he know his daughter at all? Jae had only known her about a week and he could tell that she wouldn't just be hiding a boy in her room, she was way more responsible than that. Jae tightened an arm around her, trying to sooth her, and let her know that she was safe there with him. He kind of felt bad for the Instagram post he'd put up, of course, she didn't know his insta, so it was safe, for now. "Sorry Irish, I forgot about that. I should've taken my things," He muttered, annoyance evident in his voice, it was annoyance at himself, not her. "Next time call right away and I'll talk to your father, though hopefully there won't be a next time, maybe he'll talk to you calmly about stuff like this from now on?" Jae thought that parents should learn from their mistakes, just like kids, though his own father never seemed to. "You're a good kid, ignore him. Tempers are just high, it'll be alright. Hang out with me today, we'll nap some and then maybe go eat or something, I have someone I want you to meet anyway...." Jae trailed off as he noticed that her breathing had just gotten even, he tried to see her face, she was sleeping, "You come here and then fall asleep? Aishhhh, Irish do you realize how rude it is to fall asleep before me?" Jae rolled his eyes, but then settled down deeper into his pillows, he pulled the blanket up around them and was soon drifting off to sleep himself.

Her crying was winding down, because Jae was holding her closer, more tightly, and it really did make her feel secure. He had her and wasn't going to let anything bad happen to her, at least not when he was around. And so Ava felt a bit dreamy, and shook her head when he apologized "It's not your fault. I should've picked them up last night. It just hurts, you know? That he thought I would do something like that. I guess he doesn't trust me anymore..." Ava murmured, her eyes fluttering softly against Jae's skin, slowly closing. When all she could see was the darkness of her eyelids, she couldn't feel the sting of the tears that had left her eyes, leaving them dry and uncomfortable. When she closed her eyes, she could hear the beating of Jae's heart even more clearly. It was a strong beat, steady and unwavering in it's pattern, much like the boy himself. Ava didn't mean to drift of to sleep, but she was warm, and Jae's fingers through her hair helped her to relax greatly. She hadn't even realized she was falling asleep, but she wouldn't have fought it if she was...

((Do you want me to post them waking up or you, or do you have something else in mind?))

Ava hadn't dreamed, she hadn't thrashed, she hadn't even stirred until at two and some hours later. She woke to the sun, she assumed, because I truly was gleaming into Jae's bedroom, shedding its light upon not only the two of them, but also the slew of things in his bedroom. Well, it wasn't really a slew. Jae had a very neat bedroom, with every item in its assigned place. To Ava it felt like a showroom, and she felt a little badly for Jae, because all last night she'd complained about living in a hotel, but from her point of view, Jae was living very much the same way. Her eyes were still tired, but after a look at the clock, Ava knew she couldn't sleep anymore. And she was touched, if she was being honest, by the way Jae had helped her that morning. He had been such a dear friend, compassionate and caring. And if Ava was being honest, she would never have expected that, and it made a little soft spot on her heart hurt to think of how he'd taken care of her. She found herself to be gazing at him while he slept, though, so she shook her head and slipped her way out of his arms, hoping to not disturb him just yet. All he did was grunt and move some, so Ava pulled out her phone and took a sneaky picture of him, posting it on Instagram and tagging him in it, just to get him angry with her later.

Ava then went off in search of the bathroom, and once she found it, changed her clothes and fixed herself up. She combed her hair so it was falling in its usually long and pretty way, sparking in the sun whenever she wandered to close to the window. She wore a simple skirt and shirt with a sweater that resembled far too much her school uniform, and Jae was sure to pick on her for it, but it was so simple to wear that she'd come to like the practice of it. She sweeper on some more makeup that she'd brought in her purse onto her cheeks, and played up her eyeliner more that she did on any other day, just because she wanted to feel pretty around Jae, she couldn't say why. Ava packed all of her things up in her purse again and stole back to Jae's room. She saw that he was still asleep and rolled her eyes, smiling as she hopped up to stand at the end of his bed (just so he couldn't see up her skirt). "Jae! Jae! Jae! Jae!" She chanted, jumping each time she called out his name. Rude awakening? Maybe. Much more fun than being normal? Obviously.

Jae slept soundly, and warmly as there was a girl on him as he slept, there weren't really any dreams. He really didn't dream anyway, and if he did, well he hardly ever remembered much of it. At some point he felt the absence of Ava, but didn't really wake up, he just rearranged himself, the sheets still gathered somewhat about him, his face turned to the side. He was sleeping soundly once more for a little bit before he heard a chipper voice calling his name, Jae pulled a pillow over his head, trying to seal out the noisy girl at the end of his bed. The tactic didn't help though, she was still loud, and bouncing, Jae through the pillow her way, missing her, and looked towards Ava. She was changed out of her pajama's, and looking cute as ever. "Irish, you wake me up at the crack of dawn, then you wake me up?" He muttered before scrubbing his hands over his face, his feet kicked at the sheets and covers until they were off of him. His bare chest was exposed, and his pajama pants hung low on his hips, not that he noticed. Jae sat up, then went towards the bathroom with tousled hair, he picked up his phone along the way, "Don't come in here unless you want to see me going to the bathroom," He called over his shoulder, he closed the bathroom door and went about his business before going to the sink and opening his phone, he put on Bigbang's Fantastic Baby, then noticed he had a notification. Jae brushed his teeth while he checked his Instagram, there was a reply from Noah, and he'd been tagged? By Ava! She'd taken a picture of him while he'd been sleeping, the sneaky brat. "Irish!" He yelled from the bathroom, pretending to be annoyed, "What's this picture?" He opened the door, a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth as he leaned out to stare at her.

Almost instantly, Jae was pulling a pillow over his head, but Ava wasn't letting him get off that easily "Jae! Jae! Jae!" She kept changing, jumping higher and higher in his bed until he was forced to get up, after throwing a pillow at her. Ava ducked, so it flew above her head and hit the wall behind her. "Aww Jae don't be so grumpy! It's a brand new day!" She said happily, just trying to annoy him at that point. She would make it up to him though, because she was going to make breakfast for Jae. Ava felt like it would be something nice in return, for taking care of her just hours ago, and besides, it would be fun. After Jae stormed off into the bathroom, Ava was still laughing at her own jokes, but she hopped down from his bed, and was just about to go downstairs and get started when the bathroom door opened and Jae's angry voice was defining from it. Ava grinned--he'd found the picture. She crossed the room to him with a smile and shrugged at him "It's just a picture, get your boxers out of a wad." She reprimanded, poking his toothbrush so it wobbled in his mouth a little bit. "For real, lighten up or I won't give you any pancakes..." She said in a fairly chipper voice, dancing away from Jae and winking at him from the doorway "And trust me I'm making them, so they're going to be delicious." She smiled deviously, and with that, Ava was on her way to the kitchen.

Jae's eyes widened when Ava wiggled his toothbrush around, he pulled it out of his mouth and yelled, "Yah! What do you think you're doing? A mans toothbrush shouldn't be touched," He continued as she disappeared from the room. "Pancakes, ha! I'll put her pancakes in her shirt," He muttered to himself as he went back in the bathroom, a slow smile forming on his face, then he caught himself in the mirror. "What do you think you're doing? Get that grin off your face," He told himself, lecturing his own body to be gruffer. Jae finished brushing his teeth, then used a facial cleanser, once done he styled his hair and pulled on his clothes, before laying on the bed and taking a picture to put on Instagram. Panda would find it amusing probably, he didn't like the way him and Ava ganged up on him, those two couldn't meet now, nope. Once finished with his semi-ranting he slipped on some socks and went downstairs to see what Ava was up to. Probably making a mess in the kitchen, good thing he had a maid that came in, in the afternoons. Jae rounded the corner and went to where Ava had her back to him, he decided to play cute and rested his chin over her shoulder, "What are you up to Irish?" He asked looking down at the bowl.

At a mans toothbrush shouldn't be touched, Ava just about lost it. But she held in her laughter, because if she had too much fun, Jae would be royally upset, and she really didn't need a wounded ego on her hands. So she just giggled some and went down the stairs, heading into the kitchen with ease. The layout of the whole condo was pretty predictable, but the sleek lines and cool colors gave the whole place an air of sophistication. In the kitchen she couldn't find a ton of ingredients, and her brows crinkled while she searched cabinet after cabinet for even a sack of flower, but could only really find high end mixes and things like that "Ugh.." she grumbled, finally pulling some very fancy pancake mix from the top shelf and gathering eggs, milk, a whisk, and a mixing bowl. She had just finished pouring everything into the bowl when she felt Jae's chin rest on her shoulder. "Just finishing up with mixing," she told him, her wrist making quick circular movements to swirl all the stuff together "are you in a better mood yet?" Ava asked with a sly grin, one blonde brow quirked.

After looking around some he noticed every single one of the cabinets in the kitchen were open, he rose a brow, wondering what she'd been looking for. "What is it that I need to buy? Apparently we don't have whatever you were looking for," He commented with amusement in his tone, Jae moved off of her shoulder and took one of the stools out to sit on while he watched her make whatever she was making. "I was never in a bad mood," He sulked, giving her a slight pout, then returning to his neutral expression. "I just don't see why you have to take a picture of a man sleeping," He muttered more, inspecting his fingernails as he did so, Jae felt his phone buzz and slipped it out of his pocket, Panda was at it again. "This guy," Jae muttered, then smirked a bit, "I suppose we could invite Noah over today, if you promise to behave that is," Jae scanned Ava, she looked adorable in her outfit, it was much like her school one. "Can't stay away from the school uniform, huh Irish?" He asked teasingly, though he honestly enjoyed her style.

He was like a parrot on her shoulder, asking what he needed to get at the store. It sounded oddly to Ava like he planned on her being around his flat more, why else would he be asking? "We'll just baking ingredients. I was gonna make these pancakes from scratch but you don't even have flour." She said, glancing over at him. He looked a bit silly to her, and Ava was actually thankful when he moved to sit across from her instead. Not because she hadn't like the closeness. She had, it was more because she was about to laugh at Jae, and he didn't need any more of a wounded ego. "Oh, get over it. It was funny!" Ava whipped the ingredients together with a whisk, making a nice batter that she'd eventually be pouring onto a griddle or a pan. She turned away from Jae and went in search of it, bending down and standing on tip toes to see into the cabinets. Finally she came upon a griddle and shrugged "I don't promise to behave but I'll give him some pancakes too." She said, smirking a little bit at Jae. She actually blushed when it came to her uniform, her light pink skirt, white tank top, and big knitted cardigan were comfortable to her, and she wasn't exactly sure why he was being a jerk about it "I like dressing like this, it looks good on me." She grumbled, trying to get the pink in her cheeks to die down.

Just baking ingredients, Jae wondered exactly what that entailed. Flour apparently, but what else? Jae would have to look up a list on google or something. He'd never really been shopping for food, except snacks, or ramen. So this would be a whole new adventure for him, not that he would admit that to Ava outright, he knew that she would only poke fun at him for it. He watched with interest as she raised up on her tip toes to try and find something else, he could've gone over and helped her. It was more entertaining to sit back and watch though, and the higher she reached, the more amusing it was, so he just stayed put as she looked around. Finally she grabbed hold of a griddle and went to plug it in. "Hmmm," He hummed at her reply, her cheeks reminded him of pink bubblegum right then. "I suppose the look does fit the Irish princess," He agreed, with that tone he had, where you didn't know if he was serious or teasing. "Pancakes are on the menu, what else? Should I squeeze some orange juice? Help you out?" That was something he knew how to do, he loved juices and smoothies, so he knew how to make both quite well, from scratch. Of course he didn't shop for the ingredients, his maid did.

Ava shrugged in Jae's direction, she couldn't really see him putting in the manual labor to make his own orange juice anyway "If you want to go ahead, I can make bacon or eggs or get some fruit together too, you at least have that stuff in the fridge." She said, half complaining with an impish grin on her face. "The panda guy? Yeah I guess he can come, he seems cool. How'd you get a friend that's nice, anyway? How did you even get me to be friends with you?" She asked with higher ended brows. Ava brushed her hair behind her ears and tried to get her blush to die down while she ladled a perfect circle of batter into the griddle and sprinkled some mini chocolate chips on top. "Shut up Jae, I look good in this sort of thing. At least I don't try to dress like a badass everyday." She grumbled, glaring as she spoke of his leather jacket and his motorcycle. But she needed to change the subject, because Jae insulting her wardrobe made her want to go change, and Ava just couldn't have that "Are we going to work on our project today, since we're hanging out anyway?" Ava asked, her green eyes meeting his for a moment. The thought of acting like a couple was scary, but she was Ava McCloud, she could handle it.

The sound of the stool scraping the tile was the only indication Jae gave of his getting up to help Ava, he went to the end of the island and grabbed an armful of oranges before setting them down by her. Jae fetched a glass pitcher, then a juicer tool he had in a drawer by the sink. He returned to Ava's side, interested in watching her while he worked. "Noah?" He felt the sting of her words, even though she probably didn't mean it that harshly. Jae tried to kep his face neutral, he knew good and well that Noah was far too good for him and that he should just let his friend be best friends with someone other than himself. But Jae felt selfish and kept him close to his side, he didn't know how he would make it without that guy. After clearing his throat, to remove the many emotions threatening to invade, he spoke, "He and I have been friends a long time. He was getting made fun of and I beat the hell out of the kids doing it, we've been friends ever since." Jae shrugged, as if it was no big deal. "I was his 'superman' from that point on, or so he says. He's a really good guy, and as for you," Jae half smiled as he looked down at her, "Well you just couldn't resist my charm." Jae had squeezed half the oranges, quite expertly, by that point, "Yeah we can work on the project, might as well since we're together for the day. Maybe Noah can tag along, and help us out with a few..." Jae finished up the oranges, he went to the sink and washed his hands. "Perhaps we can go to the market too... you can show me what you need." Jae looked over his shoulder at her as he dried his hands.

Ava was a bit surprised when Jae actually started to juice oranges. He would never cease to amaze her...he didn't even know what to buy to make pancakes, but he would make homemade orange juice at the drop of a hat, who was this kid? Ava shook her thoughts away and payed more attention to her pancakes, flipping the first one before it got too dark, toying around with her phone. Her brother had texted her, so she needed to get a response back to him pretty quick. Then she saw his picture in Instagram and rolled her eyes...he thought he was so cool. "Hm?" She asked softly while Jae spoke, snapping into the conversation. He seemed a bit tight on the subject of Noah, so Ava tried to remind herself to be a little more gentle next time, but she still found herself grinning "That's sweet, Jae. Who knew you could be warm and gooey for certain people?" She teased, throwing a playful wink his way, just to calm him down. She flipped the second pancake then, and watched as Jae juiced each orange, it was pretty interesting to watch, and rare, considering she had no idea how much manual labor Jae actually did. "Sounds good to me, I have to be somewhere at five thirty, but that's it, so we might as well. Do I still have to pretend I'm your girlfriend? Because I swear if you make me do that, I'm going to end up actually liking you." Ava was only teasing with her words, smirking to herself, but who knew how Jae would take it.

What was Ava talking about? Jae's brows furrowed slightly with annoyance, he was not warm, or gooey, what was she smoking? Especially not for Noah, no. Noah of course talked affectionately and constantly tried to get Jae to say he liked him, but Jae just ignored him and shoved his friend around when he started in with the mushy stuff. Jae made his way to her side to watch with interest, she was a pro at pancakes it looked like. "Where is it exactly that you're going at five thirty? Hot date?" Jae was teasing again, of course he hoped that no, it wasn't a hot date. "I think it'll be safe to make you my girlfriend for the day, you should feel privileged, do you know how many girls would die for that?" Jae felt that she was rejecting him though, and it wounded his pride some. Why didn't she like him? Most girls did, this one though, well she seemed to only annoy him and push him away, most of the time. Then they had those rare moments, like earlier that morning, when they seemed to just click and get along well, like they didn't fight and squabble most of the time. Jae whipped out his phone and sent a quick text to Noah, wanting his friend to come with them, so that he could help out with some of the pictures they needed to take. Plus Panda boy always made things all that more interesting, even if it was likely that he and Ava would gang up on him.

Ava rolled her eyes. "Hot date?" She asked mockingly, her eyes cutting over to him "If I was going on a hot date, I wouldn't pose as your girlfriend all day." She grumbled, putting the first pancake on a plate in the over to keep it warm, so the three of them could all eat together. "It's just an appointment thing," Ava said, trying to make sure Jae didn't pry anymore. The last thing she needed was for him to know about ballet. The style of dance was so unlike her--the soft music when she had a hard heart, the flowing technique when she was stumbling through everyday. Ballet felt like slipping on a mask that his who she was, and it had its moments, but overall, Ava didn't like it that much. Especially now that she had to find a new studio. "Oh really, you're that sought after? That interesting, since I haven't seen one girl flirt with you since we met." She quipped, a smirk slipping into her lips as she started more pancakes. "Maybe someone has a crush on you though, like that god awful girl who's father owns another hotel. I don't even know her name, but she always glares at me. You would be great with her, since you both find me annoying." She chirped, then looked over her shoulder at Jae "Wanna put some house music on? It's too quiet in here." Ava stated, her green eyes blinking innocently over at Jae.

She had appointments, a schedule, just like he did. How had he forgotten that she lived in an elite world, just like him. They didn't get a real day off, or at least most of the time they didn't. Usually school was just a formality, their real days started after that, with meetings, appointments, dinners, charity functions, fittings, family dates. It was something that he cringed at really, especially since his father wanted him to start going on blind dates, because apparently he wanted his son married off after high school was over. Jae had no intention of doing anything his father wanted however, no matter what the old man had in mind. "Well if you ever need to vent after one of your appointments, you can come over, or call... text, whatever," Jae spoke quietly, seriously, because he knew how annoying it was to have no say so over your own life. His mood changed however when she started talking about him and girls, "Irish I have plenty of girls that want me, I just have enough respect not to flaunt them in front of you. But perhaps I should change that? Are you talking about Rain? She's not my type Irish, not at all, she's a brat that needs a good mud bath, in the London gutter at that," Jae shook his head, not even wanting to think of the possibility of him and that idiot together. "Yeah," He muttered, Jae went to his iHome and switched on a playlist, realizing it was Kpop, he turned on the radio instead, not wanting to scare her off. "This okay?" He asked, it was an American pop station of some sort, not really anything he knew about. Jae's text tone sounded, he looked down, "Noah's in. He said that he's up for whatever we have in mind."

Ava stopped for a moment when Jae spoke quietly. He was offering to be there for her, whenever she needed him. The thought brought a smile to the Irish girls face, but she didn't want to be too dramatic about it. "Okay, same for you. I'm a good listener, Aden vents to me all the time." She promised, since her twin was actually texting her, half supporting her, and half venting about their father just then. Ava usually didn't complain about Jack, but lately she'd felt that she had the right to. And now, with ballet? She felt like curling up in bed and never leaving, because she knew she would be accepted to the studio, and she'd have to try her hardest to get legit parts in the productions, and that would just take more energy, when's he barely had enough to being with. "Maybe you should start flaunting them Jae, I want proof that you're some sort of stud. BUT, if you get to flaunt your girls, you have to let me flirt with boys and not interrupt." She scolded, giving him a certain look. "I still think you would be great with her," Ava claimed, taking off her sweater to reveal a tight camisoles beneath, since it was getting hot in the kitchen "she seems to hate me because my dad owns the Liv. I don't really get it, to be honest." Ava flipped a couple of pancakes, placing one of them into the oven to keep warm. "Oh cool, tell him to come over now, I'm making enough pancakes for three." She told him, nodding about the music. She didn't really care much about music, but when she did, she was always listening to pop. Ava wanted to dance terribly, but she thought Jae would just call her stupid, so she just moved her hips very slightly, trying not to draw any attention.

So she and her twin were close then, or so he assumed from her fondness that shined in her eyes when she spoke of him. Sure they probably argued, like most siblings, but they had a kinship that Jae had never experienced with anyone other than Noah. He'd made that guy his family, and Noah made him feel welcome, whether he pretended to not like it, or accepted it. Jae could be a hard person to get along with, he knew that, but Noah never gave up on him, no matter how hard headed he could be. His attention was slightly distracted when she mentioned flirting in front of her, but he had to lay off and let her do the same. "That's alright, I think its cool if we keep that part of our lives private from each other," He muttered, and got busy pouring them each a glass of juice, he wasn't about to admit that the idea of her dating another guy sent his blood boiling. He completely disagreed with her on the idea of him and Rain dating, that girl was far too full of herself for Jae's liking, plus she usually led her men around on a leash, and Jae wasn't one to be led. He was the one that did that leading, or at least had equal footing with the girl he was into, like with Ava. The two of them were just friends, but they sparred and treated each other as equals, for the most part, Ava never tried to drag him around like a dog. Jae tried not to think of it, and glanced down at his phone, a smile curled over his lips, "He'll be here soon enough." He commented before replying to his friend. "Whatever he tells you, don't believe it. He'll probably make up wild lies about me," Jae warned Ava, Noah would probably tell the truth, but he had a lot of embarrassing stories, and Jae didn't want to feel embarrassed in front of Ava. He wondered if he could find some duct tape before his friend got there, the panda might need that at one point.(Do it!)

How could one person keep up such a long conversation with her barely speaking? Minnie was amazed by the boy with the panda hat, and couldn't help but want to poke him, just to see if he was real or not. She'd already pinched herself, twice, to make sure it wasn't all a dream. Guys usually didn't pay her much mind, so for this one to just pay so much attention to her, well it was a bit unbelievable for her. She smiled here and there, and paid attention to everything he said. They even took a couple of selfies together, and he posted them to his Instagram, she was honored that he would do that, to put her face on his Instagram with him. But maybe he did this often? She wasn't sure, but didn't ask too many questions. Then he started talking about a bird or something, and not to be scared, she was a little worried about that. Noah grabbed her arm and led her into the big building, he led her through the building, up an elevator and everything, his touch was so personal, and cute, and she kind of didn't want him to let go. But he did, after they entered some apartment or something, it was rather large and expensive looking. He released her arm and then yelled out his friends name before shouting in Korean and pretending to fall to the ground, and claimed that he'd kidnapped her. His grin was infectious, and Minnie was shocked at his words, yet pleased that he involved her in his ruse, so she was smiling back. "You're a character," She whispered, hoping he took it as a compliment. A boy around their age appeared seconds later, and his gaze was a bit overpowering and scary, Minnie's face paled, "Ah anniyo, I didn't really kidnap him," She wanted to reassure him because what if he really thought they'd kidnapped Noah?

Jae was just about to say more to Ava when he heard the door open to his place and a voice rang out in Korean, "Aishhhh," he muttered, before grabbing Ava's wrist and pulling him along with him, the pancakes forgotten, temporarily. They walked into the entry way to see Noah splayed out on the floor, looking properly disheveled and in need of rescue, Jae's intense gaze went to the girl standing over him. She paled, and it made Jae wonder why, then her words explained it all. Why was she worried? He knew Noah well enough to know that this was all play acting... but then again... why not have fun with it? Jae released Ava's arm and gave the girl a firm look, "You think its okay to kidnap poor little innocent pandas? I could call the police you know," He wondered how far he could take this thing before she realized he was joking, but then the tears formed in her eyes, and he realized she was quite worried. "Ah I didn't..." Jae was at a loss for words for a moment.

Ava quirkiest a blonde brow. Jae wanted to be friends, that much was obvious, but he also wanted her to keep quiet about any of the guys in her life? That was weird, and Ava was about to ask why when there was a racket somewhere outside of the kitchen, and Ava was soon enough being dragged by her wrist to the entryway, where Jae's friend Noah was sprawled out on the ground, and a very shy-looking girl was standing beside him looking nervous. Ava continued to be confused, why were they calling him panda, wasn't his name Noah? He was pretending to be kidnapped, by the looks of it, and the girl looked sweet, she was making sure everyone knew that she didn't actually kidnap him, as if she looked capable of the task to begin with. Ava was just observing, that is, until Jae crossed his arms over his chest and made the girls eyes tear up. "Oh my god, nice job Jae..." She scolded him, shaking her head. Ava walked up to Minnie and took hold of her wrist "Don't pay attention to him, he's a jerk by nature. C'mon, I'm Ava and I'm making pancakes." She told the girl, pulling her along to the kitchen, hoping she wouldn't be so sad because of Jae.

(AHHHH CUTENESS OVERLOAD WITH BOTH OF YOU, goodness I might die from this rp)

Jae was at a loss as to what to do, he hadn't really meant to make the poor girl cry or anything. Ava would've either yelled at him for being stupid, or denied the whole thing more fervently. But not this one, no apparently she was super sensitive, and Jae felt like a big jerk, just as Ava called him before she went to lead Minnie out. Jae scowled at his friend, wondering how he managed to get himself into such messes. But Noah was too busy grabbing Minnie and pulling her to him to talk to her a moment. Jae's mouth literally dropped open with the action. Noah never showed such interest in girls, so this was an entire new thing for Jae to witness. It was usually Jae that was all over the girls, and making them feel wanted, mostly because he wanted to sleep with them, but still. The girls soon disappeared from the room and Jae stared at Noah for a few moments, not speaking or moving. "Me? Ask me questions?! Oh dongsaeng, I think I should be the one asking the questions, what was that exactly?!" Jae grabbed Noah's arm and led him to the couch, making him sit down, Jae's hand reached up and affectionately straightened out Noah's hair before saying, "Spill." Was the only command that came from his voice before those eyes that Noah spoke so fondly of stared straight at Noah, almost as if he could see into the boys soul.

Minnie wished that she could handle situations like this better, but she was about to cry, right there in front of Noah's friend, ah how embarrassing. The girl, Ava? Came forward, to the rescue really, and said some unkind words about the bird boy, who Noah had been referring to apparently, and was about ot take her from the room. But she was then led away from Ava, to Noah, who had taken his hat off, his hair was a cute mess, and it almost made her smile. The panda boys words touched her heart, and she had to blink back more tears, as he wiped the ones away that were there from before. "Thank you," She whispered, then was being led to the kitchen by Ava. "I'm Min-cha, or Minnie," She spoke quietly as her eyes widened, the room smelled delicious and there was quite a stack of pancakes on the counter. "These look wonderful," She exclaimed, her tone actually rising to a normal level, and excitement in her face. Her tummy growled, and she remembered the box in her hand, "Oh we picked these up..." She put the Laudree box on the counter for Ava's inspection.

Ava was just going to bring the other girl to the kitchen with her. She figured if she say her down and gave her some pancakes, she would feel better. That always worked with Anne, anyway, Aden too. Food just seemed to fix things for a moment. But then the girl was tugged away, like a little rag doll, and Noah was whispering sweet things to her, sticking a hat on her head and smiling some before letting Ava take her off. Jae seemed surprised at his friend, so Ava grinned as she lead Minnie to the kitchen, letting the boys have some girl talk. "I'll just use Minnie if that's okay, I don't know what the chan part means." She said honestly. Ava had no idea of Korean culture, why would she? She'd never been there or anything. "Thanks," Ava chirped at Minnie's compliment. She got out some plates and handed one to Minnie "Let's eat while they have girl talk." She teased, pulling down fruit from the fridge as well "So you and Noah, how long have you two been together?" Ava asked, just assuming that they were a couple.

(XD she thinks they're a couple, oh goodness)

Minnie nodded, whatever Ava decided to call her would be fine. She understood it being kind of strange if you didn't grow up in the Korean culture, Ava was busy finishing up her pancakes and then handed plates to Minnie, she smiled when Ava suggested that they let the guys have 'girl talk'. That sounded about right, it seemed that the two guys were sitting together gossiping away like a bunch of elders. Minnie settled their plates on the island and situated herself on a stool. Her cheeks blushed a pretty pink hue when Ava suggested that she and Noah were together, like together, together. "Oh," Minnie turned so that she and Ava could see each other as they spoke, "We're not together or anything. We actually just met today..." Wow did that sound terrible? She barely knew the guy but she was following him to a random place with people she didn't even know? Her mother wouldn't approve.... what would Ava think? "He kind of helped me out of a sticky situation earlier so I felt I owed him, plus he's an interesting character and I couldn't help but want to know more about him."

The silence lingered for a moment as Jae and Noah stared at one another, almost in a face-off like atmosphere. Noah moved first, inching so close that they touched, then Jae felt pain in his head, and leaned back, "Ow!" He exclaimed while rubbing the spot that Noah had flicked, "What was that for?" He looked annoyed, but honestly he didn't mind his friends shenanigans. Noah started in with his own interrogation, which made Jae feel defensive for some odd reason. Why should he answer his questions, if he hadn't even answered Jae's? He was just about to post this question when Noah answered, well damn. Jae sighed, "Its not my fault she can't take a joke. Where'd you find her anyway? You need to get her to lighten up Panda, or I may have to make her cry every time you bring her around," Jae assumed that Noah was keeping that one close since he'd even given up his panda hat temporarily. "Ava and I have known each other all of a week, I've been keeping her to myself," Which was obvious, "But I figured you ought to know about her, any longer and I thought you might take my head and keep her for yourself. Though it seems you've caught one of your own," He rose a brow playfully towards Noah.

Ava finished up the rest of the pancakes and plied some of them on the plate in the oven, then removed two each for she and Minne. She plopped them down onto Minnie's plate and laughed, "Oh god, sorry about that then." She said, actually feeling bad about her slip up. "I just assumed because of how he talked to you out there..." She trailed off, taking the seat beside Minnie and pouring some syrup onto her pancakes. "You don't have to explain it to me, I've only known Jae for a week and I'm treating him like my best friend. I'm new to the city so I only know some girls at school, Jae, and my brother." Ava explained, her green eyes looking at Minnie. The other girl seemed nervous, so Ava pushed the syrup towards her, so maybe they could just relax and eat some carbs together. "They're kind of a weird pair, aren't they? Jae and Noah, I mean. Noah seems really nice and Jae is just...hard to understand."

She looked down at the pancakes, they looked delicious, Minnie smiled softly at Ava, "Its okay. I should've made that more clear..." Though truth be told, Minnie kind of had a warm feeling at the thought of Noah caring about her in that way, but it also made her have butterflies, she wasn't sure if that was good or bad, so she instead focused on her pancakes. Minnie took the syrup that was sent her way and drowned her pancakes in it. She cut a piece and took a bite, an 'mmm' sound came from her mouth, they were so yummy she couldn't help it. The panda hat sat in her lap, instead of on her head, but she took comfort in it just being there. "So you and Jae aren't together?" Minnie laughed just a little bit, "I guess we both guessed wrong." She'd kind of assumed that she was dating Jae, they seemed so easy with one another, and she teased/scolded Jae comfortably. "They're very strange indeed. I think Noah said they've been friends since they were very small, so they obviously have a lot of history together. I kind of envy their relationship..." Minnie blushed, "I'm sorry, I don't usually talk this much. So Noah said that there's an outing planned for today?" Minnie moved the topic onto something less personal, or she assumed that it was.

Scary looking? Him? No way, Jae scoffed, "I'm handsome, so maybe I'm just intimidating with my good looks Noah," Jae replied with a smirk. Soon his best friend was laying his head in Jae's lap comfortably, Jae looked down, "You know that you're the only one for me," He grinned unabashed, "I could never put anyone above my panda." Jae patted Noah's chest affectionately before looking towards the kitchen, "The pancakes smell done, perhaps we should go back to the girls? See if they're talking about us?" Jae poked Noah's cheek, "I can't believe you let Minnie wear your hat, I haven't seen you let anyone wear one of your panda hats. I may just have to snap a picture of that..." Jae clucked his tongue disapprovingly, of course he was only joking and was actually glad to see that Noah had taken an interest in a girl.

Ava smoked a little when Minnie asked again about she and Jae being a couple. If Ava and Jae ever got together, well, there would probably be some sort of natural disaster in their wake at all times. With his charm and her drive, they would be the power couple of all power couples. But what was the use in thinking about that? It would obviously never happen. They couldn't even set aside their differences to do a project, let alone be a good couple. "Yeah I guess we were both a bit off." She teased Minnie back, grinning over at the other girl. She popped another piece of pancake into her mouth and shrugged, the new information about Jae and Noah made sense "I thought it might've been something like that. Just because they seem to be really close, but they're so different. That kind of thing needs to be anchored on something." She thought aloud, sort of like how she and Anne had been. They had very different views on a lot of things, but they'd been there for each other every step of the way. Anne was her person, and that was that. Ava groaned when Minnie mentioned the project "Yup. For art class Jae and I have to take pictures pretending to be a couple. It's gonna be a whole day of him bossing me around and picking on me for not having a boyfriend. I'm glad you'll be there though, having anther girl in the group will be nice." She said kindly, a twinkle was in her eye though.

It seemed that Ava was already quite comfortable with Minnie, which helped Minnie to feel more at ease as well. She ate for a moment, listening to Ava, and nodding where appropriate. "They are definitely different from one another... Jae seems like he might be scary most of the time, while Noah is sweet and bubbly," Minnie shrugged, embarrassed by her own nerves when it came to Jae. "Oh?" She rose both brows, "If he's mean to you I'm sure that Noah will say something. There's nothing to be ashamed of if you don't have a boyfriend, I don't think girls need a man to be complete," Minnie was matter of fact with her words, it was clear that she was sure about them. She jumped slightly when the boys entered the room, then hid her smile behind her hand, Noah was on Jae's back like a monkey, and he made Jae seem less of a bad ass as well, which was nice. "I'll have your back as well," She leaned over and whispered to Ava.

Jae sighed, "You can only like me Noah, or you might make me want to compete," He winked at Noah before leaning down some. He was literally going to be giving his best friend a piggy back ride. "You're going to help me get plenty of pictures of Ava today," He muttered as Noah hopped on, "Oof, how much do you weigh now?" He teased before walking towards the kitchen, they entered to see the girls talking comfortably with one another. He hated to admit how much he liked Ava being there, in his home, and so at ease. Jae dropped Noah to the ground, then grabbed a plate, "Oi, what are you two whispering about? You're talking about how hot we are right? Its okay, you can say it openly, we know you two like us," He pointed to each of them with his fork before piling pancakes onto his plate, Jae then got to work putting butter and syrup on his food, glancing up to look at Ava here and there.

Well well, it seemed to Ava that Minnie wasn't as delicate as she'd first seemed to be. She was talking about how women didn't need men to complete them, and that certainly sparked the feminist inside of Ava. "Oh don't worry about me," she assured Minnie with a smile. Ava was almost finished with her pancakes, and she heard the fast steps of Jae approaching, "I can take care of myself against him." She spoke through her food, finishing her sentence with a wink just before Jae walked into the room...carrying Noah on his back. Ava really had to fight the urge to roll her eyes, but she abandoned any niceties when Jae started to speak. "Of course we weren't talking about you, are you really that naive? We have much more interesting topics of conversation." Ava said pointedly, staring at Jae across the island. She twirled a bit of pancake in syrup and then ate a bite of it, quirking a brow "You think I have a crush on you? I cant speak for Minnie, but Jae we're obviously just friends." She said, her green eyes meeting his brown ones with a playful, teasing light to them.

It was morning, Jae was just starting to stir. Instinctively he reached for his phone on his night stand. With his eyes only half open he swiped the screen of his samsung, looking first to see if he had any messages. It showed no new messages, he tried not to frown, and ultimately failed. The text he was looking for was from Ava, his girlfriend. Girlfriend, it still sounded weird, even after being with her for several months. Clearing his throat, Jae began texting her,
Ava... good morning...
Jae paused, unsure of how to go on. Unaccustomed to many affectionate terms, he had to think about how he wanted to address Ava soemtimes. Jae's family had never been all that close, unlike the McClouds.
Good morning.
There, he hit send on the text, and then tapped the top of the phone. Was that too simple? Weird ? Jae pushed his covers back on his bed and slid his floor to the floor, slipping his feet into slippers. Phone in and, Jae went towards the kitchen to find food. (Maybe she could already be there? sitting on the counter? or they can meet up)

Getting out of a taxi cab with flowers AND a shopping bag AND a tipping dog in hand wasn't easy, but Ava McCloud was no quitter. In a red, lace-trimmed romper and with her hair delicately curled around her face, she hurried up to the door of Jae's apartment complex, where the doorman met her with a familiar smile. The idea was to wake him up, because tomorrow was Valentine's Day. And Ava, being the thoughtful girlfriend she was, wanted to make sure she didn't conflict with any of Jae's plans for the day. Not that she had high hopes. Ava navigated the elevator with ease. She heard her phone buzzing, but ignored it, and, dog on leash, made her way up to her sleepy boyfriend. As soon as the bell chimed, she was scurrying into the kitchen, high heels clicking the whole way, red pout twisted into a smirk. He would be so surprised. She unloaded the breakfasts onto plates, from their favorite cafe, of course, and poured his coffee into a mug, as if she'd made it herself. He would know otherwise, of course. With the flowers in her hands, she ran to Jae's room, no warning as she flew inside the door and grinned "JAE! Happy Valentine's Day!!" She squeaked, jumping onto the bed with him and holding out the red roses with a glimmer in her eyes.

When Jae heard no response to his text he decided to take care of something else. You see his puppy was in her cage across the room, crate training, it was a thing apparently. He went to her cage and let her out, the puppy ran in circles around his ankles, squeaking and making happy noises. "Shhh, I can't take you out yet. I'm only partly dressed," Though he did smirk at the idea of walking the pup shirtless, all of the older ladies in the complex would love that. Though his girlfriend probably wouldn't approve as much. Jae went back to the bed, sitting down he picked the puppy up and put her on the bed next to him, just as a blur of a human, and another puppy, came bounding into the room. Jae soon found himself wrapped up in a hug, Ava in his arms, and roses in his face. He couldn't help the smile that came to his face.

"Ava," He whispered her name, much quieter than she, then he buried his face against her neck, smelling her perfume, her shampoo, her. He lightly kissed her neck before coming back up to stare her in the face. "You do know that Valentines day is tomorrow, right?" He hid another smile, taking the flowers and laying them on the bedside table, "Thank you for the flowers. You however, will have to wait for your surprises until tomorrow," He sounded oh so mysterious as he said it, with a twinkle in his eye. He had some plans for their entire day, of course he hadn't asked Ava if she had plans, it honestly hadn't crossed his mind. He just assumed that he was going to have her attention for the entire day, thus making plans. The puppies were playing on the blanket, in the back of Jae's mind, he was a little worried that his own puppy would make a mess on his very expensive duvet, but it wasn't worrisome enough to take his attention off of the beautiful girl he had in his arms still. "So, what have you been up to? We haven't talked in three days," Jae was guilty of some of that, he'd been busy with work, and his dad skyping him about upcoming events he 'must' attend. Still, he'd expected them to video chat, but neither of them had gotten around to doing so. Jae lifted Ava up onto his lap, settling her where he thought she would be comfortable. "Have you been causing havoc?"

Ava shrugged "So what? I wasn't sure if you'd have something planned for the actual day, so I figured I'd take February 13th as my day to celebrate you." She chirped, planting a sweet kiss on his cheek. Jae moved her to his lap and Ava felt everything was right in the world; her boy was sweet, their puppies were happy, and she was comfy as could be. "Good!! Honestly babe I haven't had time to wreak any havoc, I've been in rehearsals right after I leave school. And after those I'm so tired that I just go home and pass the hell out." She told him honestly, green eyes hoping he wouldn't be mad with her. "I'm sorry I haven't had time to skype... its just such a long process with this show. Being the lead is kind of stressful so I need to make sure I'm getting sleep and of course keeping on top of my grades," she rambled, and finally shut up when she saw her boyfriend giving her a look. Ava felt a grin spread on her face and she nuzzled into his neck a bit, kissing playfully just for a quick second. "But this morning, I told her I wouldn't be at rehearsal until one, because I'm spending the morning in the doctors office for a physical." She winked and chuckled a bit. "But see I took a wrong turn and ended up here instead...is that alright?" Ava asked, obviously teasing but hoping that Jae would play along with her. She really did feel like a badass, skipping rehearsal for a fun morning with Jae. How scandalous.

It wasn't until Ava began speaking of the play, and rehearsals, that Jae really looked closely at Ava. There was a tense, tightness around her eyes, and her body felt wound up, like a wound up spring. She must have been deep into the play, and kind of stressing about it, or working her tale off, maybe both. Jae felt even worse, and protective at the same time. He muttered some curse words in Korean, wishing he could give Ava's instructor a piece of his mind. Of course that probably wouldn't help, but it would make him feel better. Jae chuckled at Ava as she explained her excuse for being late to rehearsal, "I think you took just the right turn. I can give you a doctors note," Teasing he winked. Jae was glad that she had taken off half the day to spend with him, they both needed it. Jae slowly stood up, letting Ava slip to her feet, but he interlocked their fingers, "I think I smell coffee..." He rose a brow, looking at the girl in front of him, "I must have the perfect girlfriend," Leaning down he kissed her cheek, then led her towards the kitchen, he managed to grab his roses with his free hand along the way, so he could put them in water. Food was laid out in the kitchen, and coffee in cups, he stood still a moment, before turning in surprise to Ava. "Babe," Jae kissed her cheek, "This is...." He wasn't sure how to describe his feelings. "Thank you," He managed. Jae set the flowers down once again, picked Ava up and kissed her deeply, it took some seconds, but he eventually put her back on her feet, "Let's eat."

"You can?? Well that would be just perfect." Ava giggled, wondering what kind of note Jae would jokingly write for her. Of course she wouldn't give it to her ballet instructor, but she would keep it, for her own amusement. Soon enough Jae was swearing in Korean and Ava signed "Babe its got some positives to it. I love dance and having the spot light in this show is going to get me into an amazing summer program. It's worth all the work, I know it." She pleaded, trying to show him that this ballet was a stepping stone to better things. "Besides, I have you, and you know how to make me unwind..." Ava winked at him, nipping at his ear before she let him stand her upright and lead her out to the kitchen. Jae seemed absolutely floored by her breakfast plans, but Ava didn't see why they were so great. "I don't know how to cook so I didn't make the food, but I got it from the cafe and put it on dishes..." she said lamely. Before she could even go on, Jae swept her up in a passionate kiss and for a moment, Ava was lost in that moment. Even after her set her down and went towards their breakfast, Ava was still a bit dazed. He always did that to her, turned her world upside down and made things more complex than usual. Ava didn't bother getting her own chair, and plopped right down in Jae's lap, grabbing a fork to get started on her eggs.

Honestly Jae didn't care if Ava had made the food herself or not, it was the fact that she'd even thought of him, that was what mattered to the young teen. He was awed by the fact that she would even consider him in her plans of eating for the morning. "You did great," He murmured to her, amused with her reaction to his kiss, she looked a bit, well in shock. As she often did when he made any action of physical affection. She was innocent, and it was one of the things that drew him to her, as he sat down she landed in his lap, and began eating. Jae liked that she felt comfortable enough to do so, but sometimes worried that her dad, or heavens forbid, his, would walk in on them one day like this. Their fathers would not be pleased, and would deem it inappropriate, but until that time came, he would continue to let her lounge on him as she liked. Because the truth of the matter was, Ava didn't see why it would be wrong, which in Jae's opinion, meant it was not inappropriate in any way, unless he made it so, which he had no intention of doing. Jae began eating his food alongside Ava, as well as sipping his coffee. "I hope you don't mind me stealing you for the day tomorrow, make sure you pack a swimsuit, and maybe another change of clothes, something... nice," Jae avoided all eye contact with his girlfriend as he spoke, not wanting to give anything away, a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

The eggs were delicious, and with the slightly strict, and very secret diet shed or herself on, she hadn't really had anything but protein shakes and bars for days, so eggs were like the eighth wonder of the world to her. She hummed as she ate "Mmmmm babe these are so good..." she mumbled through her food, bring slightly unladylike for the young mccloud. But Jae probably didn't care anyway. "Thanks." She chirped at his compliment, kissing his cheek in between bites and wishing she could spend every morning in exactly that way. Except, maybe she wanted to wake up next to him too. But that had, well, other issues. Ava wasn't exactly seasoned in the way of boys. She'd been kissed, but that was all. No touching, or anything beyond such. Jae was being very respectful about the subject, she suspected he knew of her ignorance on the whole ordeal, but she knew she was going to have to deal with it sometime, and just the thought of doing so made her all sweaty for a moment. Would she be good at that stuff?? Would jae think she was silly for knowing so little?? Would he laugh at her?? Ugh. Jae's proposition for their Valentine's Day snapped her out of her daze, and she looked up at him with surprise. She expected dinner plans, but he whole day?? Ava grinned and bounced a little on his lap in excitement "Really?! Where are we going?! How nice should it be? Like, cocktail nice or black tie nice??" She grinned through her words, staring jae down in hopes of getting information.

How was it that one girl could make his whole day so much brighter? Ava was obviously over the moon about going with him, and he could no longer hold back his smile of satisfaction. His arms dropped from his food, and he laid his hands on her waist, as he looked at her, rather mischievously. "Lets say cocktail nice," Jae kissed her neck, sweetly, and then trailed a couple of kisses to her shoulder, before stopping himself. He showed outwardly, perfect control, but inside, well there were definitely raging somethings going on. Jae busied himself with taking a drink from his coffee before continuing, he needed a distraction for a moment, and her sitting in his lap at that moment, was not helping his situation. "A boat will be involved, so I do hope you do not get sea sick, that is my one, and only hint for you," Jae was very happy with himself. He'd literally setup a sweet, romantic date for the two of them, no tricks involved, and he hadn't revealed it to anyone. It was only known to him, and his assistant, everyone else was out of the loop. He'd told Ava's mother that he needed to borrow Ava for the day, but did not reveal his plans to her either. Of course this got him some disgruntled remarks, apparently Mrs. McCloud was very nosy, Jae blushed slightly, thinking of how disappointed she'd been.

Ava was already glowing with excitement. She usually wasn't one for surprises, but she trusted jae fully with her safety and happiness, so she had no doubt that tomorrow would be a magical day for her. "Ooooo a boat?! I'm so excited!!" She squeaked, biting down on her lip. All of her girlish delight was gone, though, as soon as Jae's lips touched her neck. It surprised her at first, but the feeling of it; she knew she wanted more. Not that she thought jae would oblige. He was very protective of her, so much so that he even tried to protect her from himself. Ava thought it was silly, but, again, she trusted him so much that she didn't question it. "I'll have to pack up my things tonight. Do my parents know that I'm leaving??" She asked, but didn't really care about the answer. She'd been subtly defying her parents ever since she started dating jae, and it had been lots of fun. Her boyfriend was drinking his coffee and trying to look completely unfazed by her, besides his boyish grin, but Ava was still a bit hung up. The kiss from earlier, and now those on her neck?? "Hey baby?" She asked softly, turning to look him in the eyes "Do you think we could ditch the food and make out s little bit?? It's been a couple days since we made out." She pouted, hoping jae would fall for her tricks.

The coffee was almost gone, and Jae had eaten his fill of the food, he was quite excited for the next day, so he didn't have much of an appetite. Ava didn't seem to have any problems with going out on a boat with him, which was a relief, he gave her his full attention as she spoke of packing and getting her things ready. "Yes, your mum knows, I spoke to her a few days ago..." Jae rubbed the back of his neck, "She was fine with me taking you, but not so fine with not telling her the surprise. Your mum can be very.. what's the word? Demanding?" Jae was a bit intimidated by Mrs. McCloud, more so than Mr. McCloud, but he wasn't about to admit that aloud. Jae rose a brow as Ava turned on the famous McCloud charm, it made his insides melt, and all of his barriers seemed to slip down when he looked into her eyes. "Ava," He breathed her name, it was the only word that could slip past his lips as he tried to gain back control. Nothing was working though, at least not against the girl in his arms, it was all for her. HIs hands were sliding up and down her sides, and soon his lips were on hers, one hand tangling in her hair.

Ava giggled at the thought of jae refusing to tell her mom where they were going. Her cheeks likely got flushed, her eyes a little confused, eyebrows arched more than usual. "Honestly jae, she probably wants to compare what you're doing for me with what my dad did for her back in the day. And now, really, Valentine's Day and their anniversary is huge for dad, he loves her like crazy..." she said, hoping that someday her husband will take care of her and laugh with her how her father does with her mother. As soon as Ava called him baby, she could tell that jae was hooked. His eyes turned a little bit darker, a little more focused on their closeness. He was always surprised when she initiated their intimacy, which annoyed Ava only a lot, but it didn't take long for jae to put a hand flush against her back and press his lips tightly against her. Ava hummed a happy sound as their mouths collided, her hand going to rest between Jae's neck and shoulder and she kissed him deeply. She was right, it had been a while since they'd made out. And honestly, there was nothing like kissing jae. He sort of...commanded her attention. His lips were always fiery and demanding, his hands obviously wanting more. And that thrill was enough to keep Ava excited all day. She pushed her tongue into his mouth, exploring as she tangled herself up in Jae's lap.

Her lips were soft against his hardened mouth, it sent a thrill through him every time her tongue touched his. Ava, just her name made his heart beat a little bit faster. So her kissing him sent his heart, and his body, into overload. Jae wanted to strip her clothes off and show her things she'd never experienced, his hands almost shook with the restraint he was putting on himself. She was innocent, she deserved better, she needed time , he had a sort of mantra that he had to repeat in his head when his body wanted him to just release all control. As the two teens made out, losing all sense of reality, they were interrupted by the ringing of Jae's cellphone. Jae broke away first, his breathing heavy as he stayed just a breath apart from Ava's lips. The ring tone was hus father, so he was in no hurry to answer just yet. (Sorry it's not longer boo)

Everything felt so intense when she kissed jae, it wasn't like the kissing they'd done before anymore. She was fairly sure they were both at a point where they were itching for more, but Ava was still a bit terrified of everything beyond kissing, and jae was being so respectful that she really didn't wasn't sure how to handle it. Of course she wanted more with jae, but as soon as he saw her...less clothed, he would find her ugly anyway. And if he got past that part, Ava was sure she'd be horrid at, well, sex things, so as soon as she and jae did any deed, he would ultimately leave her, and she truly didn't think she could handle that. So kissing t was, and kissing it would remain, until Ava had time to think, and time to talk to jae about it. Kissing was plenty in itself, with jae lips absolutely starving against hers, making her feel as though she couldn't break their connection, or they would both fall flat on the floor. She needed him at that moment. But of course the universe couldn't let her have what she wanted, because Jae's phone rang and his lips broke from hers. Ava was still entranced from their kiss, her eyes heavily lidded as she stared up at him, lips still parted for more. But he had to get his phone, so she lowered her head to rest on his shoulder, letting out a deep sigh "You can take it, I don't mind, baby." She promised, kissing his neck quickly.

With one sentence Jae was awed and mystified with how he ever got so lucky as to be dating Ava. She didn't say from him when his father called, she didn't complain, or try to insult his father for interrupting. Instead she was understanding and considerate, she had such a close connection with her own family that she understood the need to touch base with the parental units now and again. Of course Jae and his father had a strenuous relationship, but that didn't mean he could ignore his father. Jae gave Ava a tight, appreciative smile, and wrapped one arm around her waist while he picked his phone up with his other hand and swiped the scree to answer the phone. "Annyeongyseo Appa," His tone was cold, his body tense as he conversed with his father. Jae and his father spoke in Korean a few moments before Jae switched to English for Ava's sake. "Yes I know about the benefit tomorrow night.... no I'm not attending......and? I don't even like their sons! What gives you the right to 'make' friends for me? I'm your son, not your puppet...." Sweat appeared on Jaes brow, and his jaw was clenched. "Yes. yes I'm home, why? Tonight? I'll be sure to have the maids put fresh sheets on your bed..... yes sir. No...... yes.., mmm." And wit that Jae hung up, he set the phone on the counter. Everything in Jae told him to dump Ava on the floor and stalk off, closing himself off from the world, retreat into his cold, protective shell. The problem with that was, he didn't want to hurt Ava, she wouldn't understand. Instead he kissed her lightly on the cheek, and forced a smile, "Sorry about that, where were we?"
