has anyone read the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, thinking about starting it and wanna know if it good or not?

I haven't read it but I have heard that its pretty good. If you do decide to read it let me know if its worth the read. :)

i used to only read YA but i don't really like reading them anymore, i like reading adult books now

Morganvillechic you can always read a book without your mom knowing about it.....

I've read them. The first 15 are really good. Then they got a bit repetitive but I still really enjoyed them.

have you read the Black Dagger Brotherhood series because if not then you have to, it's my second favorite series, my first is Immortals after Dark, but BDB is soooooo good couldn't put them down :)

Yeah I gave them a try. I enjoyed the love story side of it and the guys were super hot but I found myself skipping the "bad guy" stuff. All that Mr.Z and all the other letters stuff got super annoying. Maybe I will try them again later on.

yeah i didn't really like Mr. X and stuff but it's also good to know what the enemy is thinking

Yeah, it wasn't that I minded getting their point of view. I have seen it done in other books as well, ex. The Sentinel Wars by Shannon Butcher, it was just boring in this series, IMO. They were a little bland to me.

Morganvillechic - if your not a teen yet then I would say that the Anita Blake series is definitely not appropriate. The first 5 books aren't too bad but after that there is lots and lots of "you know what"

yeah theres not much of that at all until then but then just about the whole rest of the series, especially the last few are just that and not that much else.

i love Immortals after Dark series, who is you fav hero and heroine, mine are Malkom Slaine and Carrow Graie and Sebastian Wroth and Kaderin the Coldhearted

My favorites from IAD are Lachlain and Emma, Conrad Wroth and Néomi Laress. Althought I pretty much love them all. It is really hard to pick a favorite. The only one that I didn't warm up to as much is Rydstrom. I just couldn't get over how badly he treated his brother. This is one of my favorite series though. Can't wait for the new one in July.

see for me it was different, Conrad is my lest favourite, i don't know why but every time i reread the series i always want to skip his book.

I understand Conrad is a little hard to warm up to but I am a sucker for the tortured hero and the whole "can't touch each other" thing was super hot. I love his "type" of character. My husband calls them "assholes with hearts of gold" lol.

Mallory - I like Michael (I'm always drawn to guitar players lol) but I love Myrnin he is just so much fun! :)

Oh yeah I understand now. I know quite a few people that didn't care for it for that reason. I thought it kind of added to the tension of the story. Plus, I was listening to this song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYeGw-..., a lot when I was reading it and I thought it was a prefect fit.

Oh, HoN. I read books 1-4 first, but around the time book 6 or 7 came out I decided I didn't like the first three, and now I only read them 1 out of every 2 times I read the series. I thought books 4 and 5 were really good, but I got pissed off at book 6 (view spoiler)[when Heath died!!! (hide spoiler)] I read books 7 and 8 for Stevie Rae and Rephaim's relationship alone, and then book 9 showed some promise (view spoiler)[when Heath came to back to life (hide spoiler)] but I think everybody has to admit that at this point the series is becoming slightly tedious. I think the series as a whole would be much better if the main character could NOT date everyone with penis.

I got really frustrated with the HoN series but I found that I actually quite liked Hidden (bk 10) with it being from more POVs then just Zoey and she FINALLY grew up a little!
