This is the time when housewives looked like they were all dressed up all the time. There were poodle skirts and buck shoes. Parents got all upset over wild dancing. Drugs were called dope. I think the movie "Mona Lisa Smile" is from this time or about this time I should say. I think the book "Fifteen" by Beverly Cleary is about this time.
