Alexandria, who was a morning person, decided to go to the mall in the wee hours of the morning at the detest of her mother. How she found it...well...it just happend. She wandered around for a while, and managed to buy almost everything that caught her eye.A few trinkets and among other things. To keep her mind of the one person that confused her.Her half brother. Her other half. The one who confused to no end.And no end was in sight. It seemed very possible she would always harbor some love for him,no matter what. Some things happen that way.Reaching the third floor,a music store came into view.Thinking, might as well, she walked in and pored over the music.Maybe there could be a CD she could practice along to.Alex wanted to be unoticed her,but that was impossible with her purple eyes and hair that shimmered almost like gold in the kind of light inside the store. It was a matter of time before an admirer or someone jelous would come up to her.Only a matter of time. She sighed and kept on looking, determined to find something.
((Hope it's enough.Xp))
(:) It's good but make sure to put a space after commas and periods, so it's easier to read.)
Ian found a couple CDs but none of them were well known artists. His allowance for the week was tucked away in his pocket so he decided he might as well get these albums and give them a listen, and if he didn't like them after all he was sure that one of his foster siblings would like them. Once he was done looking at the CDs he went around to look to what other new shipments came in that day. Since he worked there, Ian was allowed to go into the back room to shuffle through wasn't out on the shelves yet; being an employee there sure had it's perks, what with getting dibs on everything. Whenever Ian had the money, he would spend it there even though his foster family was trying to get him to save his money for the 'future' but that discussion would be for another day.
On the way to the back room he noticed another girl in there but looked away, not even a spark of interest in his eyes. It wasn't rare for girls to be in there, but none of them ever caught his attention, even those who were confident enough to flirt with him. Sure he was a boy, but Ian preferred to distance himself from people in general despite his hormones--not that he didn't have a few one-night stands tucked under his belt. What do you expect? Rock concerts, loud music, drunk girls flashing people and running around naked--perfect setting for a night of regrets.

((And here's the post...))Alex found somethings that caught her eye. Some for her to practice too, some for just listening, and some for Nathan. And for some reason, the boy that passed by didn't even look her way. What? She wasn't boy crazy, yet she wasn't completly blind to the other gender either. All around the mall she got complements and passing glance. Here, nothing happend at all.So she decided to make something happen.
After buying her things, she marched into the back of the store. She wasn't going to take this lieing down.Alex didn't need attention. The glances and complements were unneeded for her but for some reason...she wanted him to notice. It was an inexplicable reason. But possiblely a good one.She hoped so. This would possiblely get her in trouble, since he seemed like an employee and she wasn't. Alex just wanted to be bold.

Ian was in the back room, which wasn't all that organized in the least, but all the employees knew how to get around it all easily enough. It was small and crowded with a vending machine in the far corner, a table, a few metal gray lockers lined up against the far side of the wall, and boxes everywhere. It was the storage room and break room all in one--the manager was too cheap to expand it, but that would make it too convenient for the employees anyways if he did. Shaking his head, Ian went through the boxes that were already opened--probably by Matt.
As he shuffled through some shirts with band logos on them, looking for a Of Mice&Men shirt, he heard someone walk in. He thought it was Matt, but decided to look over anyways only to see some girl. She was the one from earlier, the one that had been standing around the CD section. Instantly his brows tugged together into a frown. "Get out, you're not allowed back here." He pointed his finger to the door, a serious look on his face and no trace of amusement or interest in his dull gray eyes. "Out. Employees only, in case you can't read the sign." He was talking about the sign that was right next to the door that was red with 'EMPLOYEES ONLY' in big black block lettering. Then again, Ian shouldn't have left the door wide open, but still.

Ara was meant to be in class right now; she knew that if her parents caught her she'd be dead for skipping school but she just wasn't feeling like it. Last night had been a rough one and she wasn't even sure why---and this morning she had woken up late after a restless night where she tossed and turned and her legs burned, so she hadn't had any time for a cup of coffee to at least get her half-awake. After attempting to sit through homeroom, Ara had pretty much just given up and decided that she'd pick Starbucks over AP English any day, even though she knew she'd regret it later on.
The one Starbucks that Ara regularly went to was way too full of suburban mothers looking for their early morning caffeine fix and business people in tailored suits sipping their boring black espresso so she took a U-turn to go back the way she'd came, deciding to stop by at the mall. It would be a lot more entertaining anyway, and besides---if she was lucky that dick Ian might have been in the same mood as she was and decided to skip classes.
Their friendship was an odd one. She didn't know if she actually, you know, liked him or if she just liked him, but she'd somehow managed to become one of the people he didn't look like he wanted to murder on a daily basis. Why he even put up with someone like her, Ara didn't know; surely it was difficult for her to act one way when they were alone and then a totally different way when they were at school. If she even spoke to him at school, that is. Somehow, though, he'd become pretty much the only person she considered a real friend; it'd started after she had stumbled upon that little specialty store in the corner of the mall that pretty much sold everything she drowned in. Band merch and music and nice things. She hadn't known that that weird quiet kid who usually sat in the back of her Biology class worked there---or spent time there---but... him being an absolute prick to her had turned into him sort of caring for her. A little. Maybe. If it could even be called caring.
With a soft sigh, she strode into the mall and immediately went for the stairs after she'd bought her drink, just in case she stumbled upon someone she knew; that was the last thing she wanted right now, but most of them were probably too busy causing chaos in the halls at school. The third floor, thankfully, was practically devoid of people, mostly because all the smaller stores were up here where people really had to search for them if they wanted to shop there. Tucked near the back was the place she was looking for; it was familiar now because she spent so much time there. Ara smiled brightly at Matt behind the counter and shifted through the collection of CDs they had, but before she could properly choose one, a somewhat loud voice came from the back. Frowning a little, she bit down on her straw and wondered who the hell had elicited such a reaction from Ian.
"You're such a dick," she said, not even hesitating to say the words as she leaned against the door jamb of the employees area with her arms folded across her chest and amusement in her eyes. He was talking to a somewhat indignant looking girl who was a little familiar but not really---Ara was sure she'd have recognized someone with freaking purple eyes. After glancing over at the girl once, she looked back at him. "And you should stop frowning 'cause it gives you wrinkles and you're too pretty for that, Ian," Ara teased.

ily<3)
Arabella Iris Archer.
The only girl in the world that Ian gave a semblance of a f/ck about, and that's really saying something. He didn't know why he cares about her even if it is just a little bit. Or at all really. Seriously it was still up for debate, but there was no point in denying that he put up with her for some unknown reason, whether she was visiting him at the store or if they were at school. Though he rarely acknowledges her at school unless they're in Bio class--even then it's because he has no other choice. It was unnoticeable at first, but for those who paid very close attention they could see the way his watery gray eyes brightened a hint as a ghost of a smile passed over his lips when she was around. If anyone dared to bring up how he was different around her, Ian will deny it and walk away with a scowl on his face, but internally he will be at war with himself as he tries to understand what was going on.
They have known each for a while now, not quite a year, but long enough that Ian was able to look at Ara without too much disdain. Ian isn't a people person and he certainly doesn't treat people very well, possibly because he was never treated well to start with. Can't really blame him, can you? Ian finds it easier to distance himself from people, but the harder he tried to get away from Ara the closer they became, and it was starting to really scare him. He didn't know what to do anymore aside from lashing out at her every now and again as an attempt to push her away. Yet nothing really worked on Ara, and Ian has tried many things to make her disappear from his life.
"At least I accept the fact that I'm a dick," he snorted, not hurt by her words. Ian knew he was an asshole and a pain in the ass, and he liked it that way, it kept people far away from him. Normal people who got the hint at least. Obviously, Ara wasn't normal people. "Shut up, Double A. I'm not pretty. Stop saying things like that." Ian doesn't remember when he started calling Ara Double A, possibly after he found her name last name was Archer, so Arabella Archer led to the nickname Double A. It worried him that he even came up with a nickname for her, but he tried not to dwell on it because it would only hurt his brain.

Just as Alex was about to reply, another girl strode in.Of course. Alex barely recognized her,but the girl probably recognized her. She stuck out,to put it plainly.Purple eyes and light changing hair. Sometimes, the attention got to her."Look,i know i'm not supposed to be here, but you didn't even notice me." Alex exclaimed after the other was done. "I'm not an attention maniac but a simple hit would've been nice. Am i invisible to you or something because it seems like it. And yes,i'm just some girl in a music shop who doesn't need everyone to look at her but they do.I don't really care! She held her voice, but barely. Her voice only cracked a little."I don't need it!" Frustrated tears formed in her eyes, and it was hard to see anyone else in the room. The other girl probably had a suprised look on her face, but once Alex started, she wouldn't stop. Then she suddenly did,and stepped away from him. She didn't even know he was right in his face at all. Ashamed, she backed up from him, muttering "Sorry about that." She could get way to into a topic when provoked. And boy was she provoked. And yet her emotions were frayed and tangeld, and she didn't know what to feel.
Once outside the mall, she called her mom, feigning nothing was wrong.

Ian arched a brow at the girl as she spoke. He wasn't sure what to do or say, mainly because he wasn't even sure what she was going off about. This wasn't the first time a girl has yelled at him about something and it certainly wouldn't be the last, but Ian wasn't the kind of guy to care. The girl said something about noticing her and saying hi? Was that it? What? No that couldn't be right, could it? Who would get upset over that? Ian wasn't exactly a king or anything, though if he was a king he wouldn't be working in some shitty little store--he was a seventeen year old kid that worked at a little store and went to school when he felt like going.
This is why Ian dislike people so much. Humans and all their damn emotions just didn't make any sense at all. For a split second he glanced over at Ara in hopes that she understood what was going on, but he turned his attention back to the girl in case she started yelling at him about that too. Thing was, Ian hated people yelling at him for no reason, and as far as he could, she didn't have a very good reason for any of this. Not being a sensitive type of guy, Ian didn't take anything she said to heart--not that he had been listening anyways.
"Hold up," he said, taking a step back because she was all up in his personal space. "I noticed you, I just don't care enough to say 'hi' to you. I'm not going to say I'm sorry because I'm not and, once again, I just don't care. Honestly, I don't even think there's any need for me to apologize to you, Princess." No, Ian was not a gentleman and he wasn't some nice little emo boy. He was quiet, but quiet did not mean nice in his case. There wasn't even an ounce of sympathy in his heart for this girl. "I don't know what your problem is with this whole people noticing you and not noticing you, or whatever--maybe you have some daddy issues you need to deal with. I don't know and yet again, I just don't care. All I know is the damn world does not revolve around you." He did his best to emphasize on the fact that he did not care about this girl whose name he didn't even know, and didn't want to know. "Now, get out. This is for employees only." He rolled his eyes and turned his back to the girl to get back to digging through the box of shirts, the girl that had thrown a hissy fit quickly fading from his mind.
Yep. Ian was a dick. A big one. And he was fine with that.

Alex just stood there, mouth agape, with her eyes wide open. She deserved to be like that.Running her mouth off at a stranger. Sometimes i can't be helped. Sometimes she couldn't be tamed. Her emotions were like an animal, and at a provocation it would be unleased. Yet it was such a petty thing that let the emotion loose. And to tell you the truth, she hated it. A lot. Alex wanted and didn't want attention, which is what other people think. Her emotions are just plain uncontroable. She usually ended up smelling like a rose, in terms of arguments or the like. And now she just got owned, but someone she doesn't even know. Something broke inside her,and she swore she heard it break. It was her emotions. They seemed destroyed, in a sense. She felt numb. It took a while for her to hear his words about leaveing, since she seemed liek she was in her own world at the moment. The voice seemed far away. "Yeah, i'll leave. Sorry about that." Alex replied, then left the room. Small tears formed in her eyes. It wasn't about what happend. A part of her seemed gone for good.
((Now should i make my exit? (view spoiler)
Another day of school, over. Finally. Ben was counting down the days and there was only a little more than a month left of school and come June, he would graduate and he would be off to someplace that was not Salem. But for now, he was here. In New England. In Massachusetts. In Salem. Yeah, these were the days. Best year of high school, yet it couldn't get by any faster. If it wasn't obvious enough, Ben was in one of his "I'm anxious to get out of this hellhole" moods. But it was more of an internal thing. Right now, he was trying to figure out what to get his parents for graduation. Something like a "Yeah, I'm graduating but I would never be here without you guys. So, like. Thanks for adopting me." Or something like that.
(I just realized I'm not sure if you wanted to rp with Beau or Ian... so I'm just going to go ahead and post for Beau ^^")
It was a nice day, even though Beau was forced to go to a dentist early that morning, but it was to get his braces finally removed. Oh how happy he was about that. His teeth were perfectly straight and as white as a bride's dress on the day of her wedding. Ok, not the best thing to compare teeth to, but Beau still remembers his aunt Cleo's wedding and that was one shiny white wedding dress, he was pretty sure he was able to see his reflection in that dress. He wondered if he could see a reflection in his teeth, he would have to find out some other time. Maybe one of his friends would test it out, and knowing his friends they would without even questioning it.
Since he already missed most of his classes already, Beau walked on into Cauldron Mall having decided to spend the rest of the day not going to school. It was over by now anyways, so some of his friends should be at the mall by now. Though when it came to Beau just about everyone that crosses his path instantly became his friend, or at least he tried to pursue a friendship with that person no matter who they were, just as long as they weren't too mean to Beau, but who in their right mind could be mean to someone so sweet his smile would probably rot their teeth. Not literally of course, now that would be some kind super power. A bad one at that.
Smiling at a few people as he walked on up to the second level, Beau felt something squirming in his pocket of his baggy jeans, which tended to hang more around his butt than around his waist, showing of his boxers, which were covered in blue and green polka dots. So manly. Beau grinned and reached down into his pocket carefully before pulling out a small spiky brown animal that was curled up in a ball.
"Tired Max?" he asked his pet hedgehog, who he often carried around with him just about everywhere. "You made a mess at the dentist's office." Something Beau didn't exactly want to get into right then.
The small ball uncurled, revealing the little guy that still fit into the palm of Beau's hand, but Beau did have freakishly big hands. "You hungry little buddy? Let's go to the food court, find some chow for the both of us. Maybe find a friend too." He then tucked Max back into his pocket before people started staring and questioning whether hedgehogs were allowed in the mall.

(sure! sorry Dx i thought i wrote down him bumping into ben x.x sigh my brain. i can go back and change that)
Ben had been wandering the mall for a while, before he came to the conclusion that what he wanted to get his parents was not at this mall and perhaps not at any mall. He had come to the conclusion that be would buy his parents something vintage and old. He knew his father loved records and he wanted to be able to find his father some sort of record of some old bad that he would love. Or Ben hoped he would. That, or he would make a mixed tape for his father because his father was the only man he knew with a walkman player. The latter would have been an easier option, but Ben had already gotten himself excited over the first part as he imagined how his father would react. He knew that his father would play the record, what ever it was, and take his mother into his arms and dance around in the living room as soon as he could. And Ben knew his mother would smile and laugh and protest that they should go take Ben out for dinner or something. but Ben would shake his head. Because being there in that moment would perhaps be the best gift for him. And Ben knew that he would buy his mother some old pocket watch and even a locket of sorts because he knew how much she loved that old jewelry stuff. He had this idea that maybe he could get a picture of his parents on their wedding day in it or something like that. He already pictured what his mother's reaction would be as well. She would smile at him and hug him till he no longer had oxygen going to his head and then she would put it on and smile at him through tears and then they would go home and then that dance would happen and it would be the best night ever.
Perhaps, that was another reason why Ben couldn't wait for graduation. He wanted that time with his parents, where they would act as though nothing were different and he wouldn't be going off to some college soon or leaving and time would just freeze for him. And that rare emotional side of Ben would show where he actually cared and listened and wouldn't sneak off or whatever. Because in that moment, it wouldn't be his friends or anyone who mattered but his family. Perhaps that was the only thing that mattered. Because other people in life came and went but family was always there, no matter what.
Ben shook his head at himself, as if trying to shake out the thoughts he was having. Yeah, he was thinking too far in advance and he had just wasted an entire afternoon at the mall, having bought nothing. He decided to make the best of his time here and went over to the food court. On his way down the Mall's large halls, lined with shops and kiosks of all sorts he found himself avoiding bumping into people as he tried to make his way through the crowd. When he finally did come out of the crowd, he found himself in a head on collision with some jack ass who couldn't watch where it was going.
(x.x this is going to be short i'm so so so so sooooo sorry!)
Beau had been walking down the hall, minding his own business when another body collided with his without warning. He had been paying attention, or so he had thought but nearly falling right onto his ass made him realize he had been lost in his own dreamworld for a little bit. Being shoved quite literally right back into reality, Beau stumbled back a bit but regained his composure easily enough and looked around to see who he had bumped into only to spot Ben.
Almost immediately his eyes went wide with surprise. "Ben! I'm sorry, are you okay?" he asked, feeling very guilty all of a sudden. He hadn't meant to bump into him, obviously. Did people ever really mean to bump into people? Well, he guessed yes since it happened to him all the time at school, the jocks loved to do anything to hurt him, but Beau wasn't that kind of guy and it was obvious he wasn't. Anything he ever did was almost always on accident, even though he wasn't too clumsy of a fellow. "I should have watched where I was going. I'm really sorry..."
Nope, Beau was the type of guy who worried over the little things.

Nope, Beau was the type of guy who worried over the little things.
Ben rubbed his forehead, not saying anything just yet and his eyes still closed so he was unable to tell who had collided into him. He heard an apology, the voice deep and low, so obviously it was a guy. Which was good, if it were some girl she probably would have started crying or something and that would have created a scene he was more than happy to avoid. However, he was unable to match the male's voice (who obviously knew him) to a face he knew. So, alas, Ben opened his eyes and saw that it had been Beau. His anger subsided. "It's fine, man. Just forget about it. What are you doing here?" He asked, as his hands moved inside of his sweatshirt's pocket, waiting for an answer. Beau didn't strike him as the kind of guy who would hang out in the mall.
Beau rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish smile. "Still, sorry Ben, didn't mean to run into you like that," he mumbled. Clearing his throat, he dropped his hands to his side and shrugged at Ben's question. "Uh well I had a dentist's appointment this morning, so I didn't have to go to school, and I just came here to waste some time." Though even without a dentist's appointment, it wasn't uncommon for him to ditch school to hang out at the mall; he didn't do it as much as he once had before, but if he didn't feel like staying at school, this was the best place to hideout. Turning his bright gaze over to Ben, he smiled widely, revealing his sparkly white teeth that were no longer obscured by his multi-colored braces. "See, no more braces!" It was obvious that he was very happy about this. "What are you doing here?"
"Looks nice." Ben commented. "I was just here to hang out. Romeo's off doing some lab for whatever science class he's in." Ben lied easily. There were several reasons for the lie. He didn't want anyone to know of his graduation gift for his parents. That was for them only. He didn't want to risk them finding out by some rumors spreading that he was getting his parents a gift. Which was highly unlikely to happen, especially if he were to tell Beau, but he wanted to be safe about it anyway. And then there was the selfish part of him, didn't want anyone to think he was soft because he was being dorky by getting a present for his parents. And it wasn't like he had bought anything, so it wasn't a complete lie. "I was on my way to the food court, wanna come with?" He added.
Beau shrugged, buying Ben's lie easily. He didn't know Ben too well, but he had no reason to believe he was lying to him; he trusted people a little too easily, but no big deal. With a smile, he nodded his head. "Thanks, and that's cool." Beau wasn't really the kind of guy who went around telling people things that weren't their business; he was careful about what he told people because there were some things about himself he knew he wouldn't want floating around the school. "Sure! I was heading there too." He reached into his pocket again and carefully pulled out Max, his little hedgehog. "Max was getting hungry, so what better place than the food court to give him some food." He smiled over at Ben again. "How've you been, Ben?" he asked as he turned to resume walking towards the food court.
Ben smiled easily, and to humor Beau, he even smiled down at his hedgehog. "Not much, waiting on a reply from a few colleges. Enjoying the last months in this hell hole before I'm gone. You?" Ben asked, as he started to walk side by side with Beau towards the food court. It was a pretty crowed day at the mall, especially for a week day. There was probably some sort of sale going on in a few of the stores. Or some new thing was released. Whatever it was, Ben found himself constantly elbowing passerbys to move forward. The only time he felt sorry about it was when he accidentally hit a kid in the head. But the kid didn't notice, which was weird, and kept moving on. Probably just trying to keep up with his mom or dad. Ben didn't blame him.
Beau smiled in return. He was a junior so Beau didn't have to apply to colleges yet, but he has been thinking about them because he would be a senior before he knew it. Although, Beau wasn't completely sure where he even wanted to go, or if he wanted to go. "What college do you want to go to?" he asked purely out of curiosity. Beau was actually used to the hustle and bustle of the mall, going there whenever he could to hang out with friends or to simply wander around aimlessly because he doesn't have anything better to do. He was able to maneuver around people rather easily, bumping into a couple but quickly apologizing to them before continuing on. It wasn't long until they reached the food court, which at this point, Beau carefully tucked Max back into his pant pocket, though the hedgehog decided to keep his head poked out because he could. "Um not a lot, trying to keep up with homework and stuff. I'm looking into a couple colleges, but I don't know." He shrugged, smiling sheepishly.
"I'm hoping to get into UConn down in Connecticut. I'm still waiting on Penn State too." He said with a shrug. Ben didn't really have any plans for college yet. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do after high school either. Most likely he'd end up taking a break of school for an entire year before figuring out what he wanted to do in life. Or, if by some miracle he did get into college then he would figure out what he needed to do when he got there. No need to stress out about it now. He still had three months in
Mila walked through the mall. She walked with purpose, as if she had a clear goal and destination in mind, but the truth was, he didn't. She had no idea where she was going. She was still wearing Ben's shirt, she hadn't gotten the chance to give it back after the whole pool incident. The shirt was white and fell down past her dark denim shorts, but, being Mila, she still managed to look hot. She strutted through the mall, exuding confidence, even though she could see people glancing at her and whispering furtively. Well apparently the news about her flashing her boobs at the pool had already gotten out. Whatever, it just meant more attention for her.Mila stopped at a few stores to do a little retail therapy. Although a little may be a bit of an understatement. After forty-five minutes of shopping, she had bags in both hands overflowing with clothing. She ended up stopping in the bathroom and changing out of her pool clothes. There, now she felt refreshed and ready to take on the world.
Haydn walked into the mall with a bored look on his face. He wasn't entirely sure why he was there other than to waste some time since practice had been cancelled after school, which really irritated him since he had been looking forwards to letting off some steam. But whatever, either way he wasn't ready to go home, and he wasn't in the mood to search out Alexis to waste some time with her, so the mall was the only place left he could go. Though it felt strange to be there without some friend from school, but he wasn't exactly in the mood to talk and pretend to enjoy himself with some douche bag popular--well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black.
Deciding he was hungry, Haydn walked into the food court in order to get something to eat. He wasn't sure what to get, but maybe some burger that was overloaded with meat and cheese sounded good right about now. It wasn't healthy, but he didn't really care. Food was food. And he exercised on a daily basis so why not? He still had a hot bod, and everyone knew it; a cheese burger wasn't going to change that anytime soon.

Mila walked through the food court, searching for something that wasn't soaked in grease and fat and packed with calories and cholesterol. In the end, she had to accept defeat and went to get a burger. The line moved incredibly slowly and Mila started to lose her patience. The guy in front of her finally stepped up to the counter and she could practically taste the food in mouth, but then was disappointed once more. He took forever to order. Honestly, we've been standing in this line for like ten minutes. Ordering a burger, fries, and a drink isn't rocket science, she thought to herself. "No, it's fine. You just take your time. I can feel my stomach shrinking in on itself," she said, just loud enough for him to hear her.
Haydn walked up to order, and he had been up there for barely two minutes when some bitch behind him went off, acting like she hasn't eaten in day. Looking back over his shoulder to tell her off, he rolled his eyes when he recognized that the bitch was Mila. Right, of course, just his luck. "Oh so you actually eat food, Mila? Here I thought you ate the hearts of young virgins to keep you looking so beautiful and young," he retorted sarcastically; he was so not in the mood to deal with her or anyone remotely like her. Easily flipping her the bird, he returned his attention back to the guy behind the counter, ordering a triple stacker with medium fries and a medium sprite. Once he went home, Haydn would go jogging to burn up all the bad calories, which would give him another excuse to be out of the house.

((It's all good, haha!))Mila gave him a withering look when she saw it was Hadyn. She knew bringing up Alexis would push him just a little further. "Yeah, that diet wasn't working for me. It turns out that there are a lot less virgins around here than I thought. We all now your girlfriend doesn't exactly fit those requirements. I like to know what I'm putting into my body, who knows what she puts in hers?" she said. Mila smirked when he flipped her off and 'accidentally' rammed one of her new stiletto heels into his side as she stepped up to order. Mila asked for a large water and a fillet of fish sandwich instead of a burger. She took her food and fell into step beside him. She didn't particularly like him, but she was bored and didn't want to miss an opportunity to irritate him. "So, where's your psycho of a girlfriend?" she asked.

Haydn wasn't in love with Alexis, not that anyone really knew or understood, but he cared about her and was never happy when someone insulted her around him. If he wasn't against hitting girls, Haydn would have knocked her right into the next month, but obviously that wasn't going to happen. "Maybe you should move somewhere that's populated with virgins so you carry out your satanic rituals there," he muttered, not bothering to comment on the Alexis bit. Instead he grabbed his food, ignoring the 'accidental' jab into the side, which was painful but it took more than that to really hurt him. He was a freaking football player, so it really took more than that considering he's survived through broken limbs. "Alexis is home by now." He shrugged, not seeming to be bothered by the idea that he didn't really know where she was. "Speaking of home, I'm going as well." He took his food, happy he got it to go. "See ya." Then he turned and walked quickly away from her.

Pushing himself off the rail, Ian turned and walked past the shops towards one in particular that was sort of hidden from view; it was a store designed for skateboarders, music lovers and the likes. It was hard to find unless you knew about it and wanted to buy something from it. On the weekend, and sometimes after school, Ian worked there since his foster parents thought that a part-time job would help him be a more 'open' person, but really it helped him see just how stupid people can be, which only made his faith in humanity shrink.
Walking into the store, he was instantly greeted by Matt, one of the workers there who was sort of close to Ian. He waved at him but headed over to the CD section wordlessly to check out some of the new albums that were supposed to come in that week.
