This is how we do it:-There is a priesthood holder to baptize and a person at least 8 years old to be baptized
-The priesthood holder(usually the dad) takes the other person (usually kid 8 years old), placing one hand around the kids wrist and the other one, all fingers together, in the air strait up and recites a pray
-Then the kid plugs their nose and they co completely under the water
-there are two priesthood holders to witness that they went completely under
-then the kid surfaces again and they both, the kid and father, get dressed in a suit or dress wile everyone else watches a movie sings a few song
-this is done in a river or a font only used for babtizem
-then and people give a talk on the holy ghost and another gives a talk on baptism
-before there is a opening prayer and after there is a closing prayer
-this is only a summary and is not as complicated as it sounds
i was just baptized recently about 2 months ago...and it was nothing like that...not that that's bad. :)
yeah it was pretty awesome. it was at fellowship in the family center. talk about nerve wrecking! :D
My cousin is about 2 months old. We are Christians, so it doesn't really matter what age you do it at. I was baptized when I was that little. We believe that if you die when you are that young, God will bring you to heaven. I want to be baptized later when I am older again, I feel God wants me to. This is how we did it:
~The preacher stood over this barrel (it wasn't really a barrel, I just didn't know how else to describe it) and my uncle, aunt, their 3 other kids, and my older sister (the cousin that got baptized new godmother) stood up in front of the church
~Taylor (my sis) holding Brynn (new cousin) and the preacher asks God to bring this child to heaven when she dies. My sister takes an oath to pray for Brynn.
~The preacher dips his hand in the water and gets the baby's head wet in the name of God the Father.
And that is it. It's not that complicated, or not as complicated as Devin's
what??? i am just being regular tori! (anything but regular)i mean, everday, normal tori! (and by normal, i mean normal for tori)

Mister: I only work part time. From 9 to 5.Questioner: That's a full day.
Mister: Part of the day. There's hours during the night when I am just asleep! It's ridiculous!
Questioner: No, Sir, it's not that ridiculous.
Mister: You sure?
Questioner: ...
