I second that motion."
I fourth that.
Eastern.=)
I feel so lonely.XDI'm in England, so English time zone? xD
Wait a second, lemme work it out...
For Eastern time, I'll be on at around 11:30 am -3:00pm Ghosting, and then I'll probably stay on from 3:00pm-7:00pm. That's on weekdays, I'll probably be on later at the weekends. I apologize if that's wrong! C:
Ok, for pacific time I'll probably be on around 8:00am-12:00am ghosting, and then on completely 12:00-4:00pm. That's weekdays. Again, at weekends I'll be on for more time.:)
Don't feel lonely. I'm from Germany, so I have the Central European Time. That's an hour before you, Chloe. ^^For Eastern Time I'll be on at 1pm to 5 or 6pm. On weekends I'm usually on til 9pm and if I have nothing to do, I sometimes stay up all night, so that'd be til midnight for you or later, depending on who's on.
You can add the hours for other time zones farther to the west.
That's so awesome. My uncle's in England. He's living either in or close to London. Just throwing that out there. =P
@SadiyaYea, it's alright here. I've never been to America before though, I REALLY wanna live there at some point.:3 I live about 3 hours away from London, in the east.C:

That's pretty cool. I want to go to England really bad. I want to back pack across Europe actually. =3
I guess England is pretty cool, to those who don't live here. I think us english people get a bit spoiled, and think the grass is greener on the other side, if that makes sense?Back packing sounds SO fun. I want to do that, but when I asked my mum about skipping a year after I leave highschool to go travelling, and then going to college, she said no. So that idea kind of went down the drain.:S :'(
But I still plan to do it at some point! :D
Well to those who don't live in the US it isn't that great either. LOL, it's an okay place. Like compared to other places I guess it's pretty great (especially next to India. =P ) but not that special.
Yea, I've lived in the same town all my life, and I've only ever been to London once.(How sad am I?) I've been to Turkey and Spain, and I went to Lapland for a day. But that's about as far as my travelling experience goes.I would love to go back packing after college. But then its off to university.:S
I'll probably get there when I'm in my thirties or something.:/

I've been to a few places, mainly this December because of my uncle's wedding. Germany for like 4-5 days (mostly wedding stuff not a lot of sight seeing but still), Finland for a day (connecting flight), Iceland (airport for like an hour. =P). I was in London years ago, just the airport. -3 I've also been to India, my parents are from there so we go to visit a lot. I lived there for 2 years. I hate the schools. =P
I've been in London for about a week last year, after graduation. It was a present from my grandparents, uncle and aunt. :)Other than that I haven't been able to travel much. We went on a class trip to Holland and I was skiing in Austria. I've never been to Americ either, but I'm working on it. So far I'm planning to do a year abroad in college, which would be in about two years.
this is random but i honestly cannot stand it when people complain about living in an mdc like the usa. not you guys, but like people who say america is a horrible place and everything is fucked up but the fact is that we all have it SO MUCH BETTER than most of the world. i second your india comment sadiya, i can barely stand a month there let alone live there x.x
yeah i'm indian haha. my entire family is. c:
Oh and agreed. Like I had this conversation with my uncle when we were in India and going to Jalandar (a city, it was him, he wife and all us cousins) and we sorta ended up talking about how India and USA both have their ups and downs and that people who live there should acknowledge both and not be those people who either love their country and think it's simply the best or the worst. If that makes sense.
hima. wrote: "yeah i'm indian haha. my entire family is. c:"OMIGOODNESS. I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN.
What part? My family (mom's side) is from Punjab and Rajhistan (great grand parents) and my dad's side are from Orissa though their all in the US now.
i can't say i completely agree with that but i see what you're saying. i've got a strong sense of nationalism i guess, but that's because i've seen so much poverty. both countries do have their ups and downs, but on a statistical development scale---economic and social---india is still an LDC and they're a far cry from the US. we're the world's biggest superpower, second biggest economy despite the recession, and are ranked solidly above 90% on the HDI index. we're definitely way better off than india is.
[sorry for this btw. this is a subject i could go on about forever x.x]

HAHA WELL IT JUST DID.
my parents are both from andhra pradesh [hyderbad and vijaywada respectively] and most of my extended family still lives in india.

My cousins lived in Hyderbad for a good amount of time. =P Honestly, I love both countries a lot. They're two completely different worlds and I guess each is amazing in different ways. And I'm not mentioning all the poverty that goes on there. It's mainly the culture and life there. And it's not like I'm saying the US is horrible. I love the US, I couldn't live any where else. But people who say we're perfect need a reality check too.
Though honestly, I really miss India a lot sometimes. Like, most of my extended family is there and it's amazing how we all can just click despite the fact we haven't seen each other in years. And there's the culture and food and my friends and outings. It's my second home and if I could live anywhere besides the US I'd go to India in a heart beat.
=3
@sadiya
yeah i get what you're saying. india has a fairly homogeneous culture though whereas the US is a melting pot so we can't quite compare the two. :p
i wish i could say i did but i only know telugu. /:

Exactly. I have dreams where I make my own country and combine the two. I don't have any good ideas for names so it's temporarily called "The United States of India" =PThat's still cool. Do you speak it at home?
I'm in Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST) and if any of you need me, send me an ask at my Tumblr. Until Lent is over, anyway.
@sadiya
that would be nice. xP their culture and our.. pretty much anything else.
[i'm american in every way. i would honestly never be able to see india as my home. which is sad. xc]
yeah we speak both english and telugu at home ~

Haha, that's how I see it. I have it all planned out. Down to every detail. Totally normal. Pfft. I am like insanely American. I really don't know what I love so much of India. I just love it. I think it's because of the two years we spent there. Besides the schools it was very nice.
We speak Urdu and English at home.

you don't have to tell us anything you're uncomfortable with, just your time zone if you want to. and when you're usually on. n-n
