My doctor placed me on the South Beach Diet for my health so I am trying to figure out a way to have a Valentine's dinner within the confines of the diet. There is something made with ricotta cheese and cocoa that I am apparently allowed to have....don't really feel like shopping though. I do so love chocolate! This morning I have been busy answering the phone as all my kids call to wish me Happy Valentine's Day. One of them is dropping me off a salad on her way to her sons school party.
Yesterday, I picked up several new books from the library ... so I am studying this morning and afternoon and reading tonight! Have not decided which I will read as yet. Dreaming in French is topping the list at the moment.

I got three books(something by Kristin Cast and P.C. Cast that I can't remember the title of off the top of my head, Hit by a Farm: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Barn and Time Was Soft There: A Paris Sojourn at Shakespeare & Co.), in case anyone's wondering, some candy that I gave to my father so I wouldn't be tempted to eat it all in one sitting and gain 20 pounds, and some really pretty flowers, and I'm going out to dinner tonight.
