I read 'Beach Music' and thought it was fun to read.

I have read Beach Music 8 times. Each time I read it I take away something new. It is my absolute favorite book and I highly recommend it!

I read Beach Music many years ago. I remember it as heavy stuff with some priceless moments and some heartbreaking details. I would love to read it again, but this time I will concider reading it in English. The firs time was in Norwegian, but as I have read all the other books in English I think Beach Music deserves a chance in the original language.

I just finished Beach Music and thought it was fantastic. Can anyone recommend another book(s) that would be "similar" by another author? I have read most of Conroy's other books and am looking for suggestions for another author with a similar style. thanks
