Y.A Bookworms discussion

I love the Harry Potter books, are there any books that are similar? It doesn't have to be wizards or anything, but just a book that's as awesome as Harry Potter? Not Narnia or Lord of the Rings please, I didn't like them that much >_<

Percy Jackson is a REALLY good book. I'd give it a try if I were you.;) The first book is called Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief.
