I haven't had a good read with a hero or heroine Navy SEAL in.. so many years (more than three years at least) :( Sandra Hill's Navy SEALs were the only SEALs I liked. All other authors' SEALs failed to interest me. I really enjoyed the world of Navy SEALs though so could someone please recommend me an Adult Romance book with a Navy Seal hero/heroine? Thanks!

Lora Leigh has a series with SeAL's in it; Suzanne Brockmann has 2 series - one in the harlequin line, the other more as romantic suspense; Marliss Melton as wellpsst...aside from GI Jane you will rarely find a heroine as a seal, since it is still a restricted community...
Hey, thanks Dee! I have a lot of books on my tbr list and I'd forgotten about Lora Leigh's "Wild Card". I'd actually wanted to read that and try out her SEAL heroes, thank you for the reminder!I don't know Suzanne Brockmann but I'll check out the reviews ect about her, thanks!
Same goes for Marliss Melton, thanks!

*sigh* I know..:/ Personally, I don't like how females can't be SEALs. I rather think that's injust but that's an old argument that still hasn't been settled in years. But in the literary world, or in Sandra Hill's books anyway, I did meet some heroines who got to be SEALs although they went by a different name.
I'm partial to Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series. No female SEALS, of course, but in the first book, The Unsung Hero, we have Alyssa Locke, top Navy sniper, as a volunteer on an assignment. She's a regular character in the series which also involves a counter terrorist unit at the FBI. There are many strong female military characters, as well as strong non-stereotypical gay characters. So far there are 19 books in the series. She also wrote Tall Dark and Dangerous, also Navy SEAL based, but these were originally published by Silhouette Intimate Moments which means shorter and more formulaic. That series starts with Prince Joe and ended eleven books later when she started writing the Troubleshooters series.
Suzanne Brockmann was my first thought, too. Excellent books, with strong female and gay characters. You might want to look at the group Romantic Suspense - they have features on the type of authors who write about SEALs etc. I also did a title search with the word "seal". Lots of non-fition books about the unit, and of course animal books, but there were several stand-alone books about Navy SEALs and a couple more series, by these authors: Marliss Melton and Sharon Hamilton.
You can find scads of recommendations specifically in this sub-genre ...in my Goodreads group! Nearly 700 fans to advise you.Spy / Spec Ops
